Roma vs Atalanta

Following on from their previous result, Roma will be hoping for more of the same after the 2-1 Serie A victory versus Empoli. The Giallorossi have also been successful in the Europa League, celebrating a 3-0 win over HJK Helsinki. Over their last six games, José Mourinho's Roma has seen rewards for their attempts on goal a total of eight times, an average number of goals scored per match of 1.33. On the other hand, the hosts managed to keep the clean sheet just once on the previous four occasions. Marash Kumbulla (Thigh Problems), Stephan El Shaarawy (Muscular problems), Ebrima Darboe (Cruciate Ligament Surgery), and Rick Karsdorp (Unknown Injury) will be missing for Roma manager José Mourinho.

In their previous fixture, Atalanta drew 1-1 in the Serie A match with Cremonese. Nevertheless, they remained joint-first with Napoli and Milan, failing to win just twice in the first six rounds. A series of outstanding showings by the Atalanta defenders has seen the number of goals they've conceded standing at three from their past six outings overall. In that time, their forwards scored 10. La Dea wants to be competitive in the top-four race, and the visitors will try to return home with some points. Atalanta manager Gian Gasperini currently has to contend with reduced team options. Simone Muratore (Unknown Injury), Luis Muriel (Knee Problems), Duván Zapata (Hamstring Injury), and Berat Djimsiti (Fibula Fracture) are not able to play.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

It's going to be an interesting clash in which both teams have equal chances of securing a victory. However, the visitors have had more time to prepare for this encounter, and we think Atalanta will remain undefeated in this match.

Goals Market Prediction

Both teams have significant attacking potential, and we should see an entertaining encounter. Therefore, we don't believe either team will manage to keep a clean sheet.

Milan vs Napoli

Milan is hoping to win again following the 3-1 Champions League success vs Dinamo Zagreb. They booked two straight wins in Serie A and are joint-first with their upcoming opponents. In their preceding six games, Stefano Pioli's Milan has seen rewards for their attempts on goal a combined total of 11 times resulting in an average number of goals scored per match of 1.83. Ahead of this meeting, Milan is unbeaten in their previous 11 home league matches. It's been impressive. Ante Rebic (Back trouble), Divock Origi (Inflammation), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Knee Surgery), and Alessandro Florenzi (Hamstring Injury) are unavailable for AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli. Rafael Leão is ineligible for this match because of suspension.

Napoli heads into the meeting after a 0-3 Champions League win vs Rangers in their last game. The visitors enjoy another great start of the campaign, being undefeated in the first six games of the Serie A. A run of accomplished showings by the Napoli defensive players has resulted in the number of goals they’ve conceded, standing at three from their previous six outings in total. In that period, the number of goals that they have scored themselves is 11. Napoli is about to face the defending champions away from home, and if they grab all three points, they will climb to the top of the table.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Both teams have been playing well since the start of the season, and this game can easily go either way. We won’t be surprised if they split points at Stadio San Siro on Sunday evening.

Goals Market Prediction

It is the clash of the two most efficient teams in Serie A, and we expect them to score some goals on Sunday evening. Therefore, the crowd should see both sides finding the back of the opponent’s net.

AC Milan vs Napoli

The last round of Italian Serie A matches before the international break are scheduled for this weekend and arguably the biggest game of the weekend comes up at 7:45pm BST on Sunday evening when AC Milan and Napoli meet at the San Siro. These two potential title contenders will feel that this is a major opportunity to inflict a demoralising blow on their rivals but will either team take all 3 points?

AC Milan are looking to get back to their glory days and the club have started well this season with the team sat in 4th place and unbeaten after 6 league matches. Head coach Stefano Pioli has been a huge success since joining the club guiding them to the Scudetto last season and giving I Rossoneri their best start to a league campaign since 1996. It's now a run of 8 games undefeated in all competitions for the team and they look like genuine title contenders once again. Pioli appears to have put together a nice blend of youth and experience in his squad. Defensive displays could improve with both teams scoring in 6 of their 8 games this season and the fact this has happened in each of their last 4 matches shows they are also an attacking threat.

Napoli showed the world their true potential in their resounding 4-1 home win against Liverpool in the Champions League. Gli Azzurri are more than just that one result though with the team currently in 2nd position in the league and unbeaten in their 6 league matches so far. Head coach Luciano Spalletti has done the rounds with the top clubs in Italian football and was awarded the Serie A Coach of the Year award in both 2005/06 and 2006/07 when managing Roma. Last season saw the club finish 3rd in the league but the rise of a star in Georgian winger Khivcha Kvaratskhelia could help to take them to the next level. There is no denying that Napoli's strength is their attacking prowess having scored 20 goals in their 8 matches in all competitions played so far.

Both teams in this fixture possess their strongest attributes in attack and have also shown this season that their defensive lines can be penetrated by even the most standard of opposition attacking lines. AC Milan and Napoli will undoubtedly be up there in the mix for the title come May and this game could play a big part of deciding the destination of the title. I believe both teams will go all out for it because it's the only approach they feel comfortable with. I think we'll see goals but I'm not sure we'll see a winner.
