Already posted in the 2022 thread.
    @fd1972uk
"Dont usually go ew if its under 20s, but put a little extra on as no footy being bet now.
Schwaab, Speith, Morikawa, Burns, Hoge, Na, Dutch, Fox, Detry, Veerman"
    @MinellaWorksop
    "Charles Schwab Challenge (PGA TOUR)
I had a shortlist of: Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau, Sungjae Im, Daniel Berger, Justin Rose, Jason Kokrak, Kevin Na.
From this my one win only selection was:
    JUSTIN ROSE 55/1 Bet365
Played really consistent last week in the PGA Championships on a tough course and his final round was his best round. Preferably he will carry this momentum onto Colonial where he has shown previous good form finishing 3rd in 2020, in what was probably the strongest renewal of the event."
My picks to follow (barring an unlikely "no bet" scenario).

First just want to say great tipping from Fader last week so unlucky with his 200/1 shot. ?
Going for Jordan Spieth 12/1 again as he has a great record on this course 1 win and 3 runner up spots over the years.
My other pick is Davis Riley 45/1 has no course form but this guy is improving so much and had a great display last week coming 13th, prior to that was 9th and 5th.

An update of @jamied02 's ratings would be great at this point. For me, I can look at the player markets in much the same way as I do for any other league, at least for the games that kick off prior to midnight our time.

OK, so due to the European leagues entering their off-season I will be posting previews for the games taking place in the MLS over the next couple of months. If the interest garnered continues then we will make it a permanent thing. If not, then it was a failed experiment! I appreciate MLS isn't everyone's thing but neither were the Belarus or Nicaragua leagues before lockdown forced us to get involved in those leagues and they developed a cult following amongst us!
Anyway, I'll start getting the previews up for these games in the coming days. My knowledge of the MLS isn't the best but we can learn and make our mistakes together! The more opinions, thoughts, and bets we bring to the table, the better chance we have of getting one over on the bookies for these! So post your tips below!

7 and 5 respectively according to Whoscored so would've made for a decent buy had I or anyone else put any money down. As for my actual bets, total wipeout. I think we all need to polish our crystal balls before the start of next season!
The bookies were certainly right in their assessment of Brentford as the strongest promoted team.

Really unlucky mate. He wins it and I’m gutted I didn’t have a couple of quid on that outcome, he falls just short and I’m not too bothered even if I had let the spread bet run as there’s not much difference between 1st and 3rd. So many ways to choose from in terms of how to bet in golf. A nice place return but obviously stings to come so close to the big one.

For quite a while I thought Wrexham would win the play-offs given how good they were looking and that they were unlikely to beat Stockport and if they had the final at the Racecourse then I would probably back them even though they are odds on. I do think they can beat Notts County or Grimsby at home although it does look to be the harder side of the draw, but away from the Racecourse they look vulnerable. I was waiting to write the preview until after the FA Trophy Final today to see how they would get on at Wembley and they were OK, but no more than that. Maybe the disappointment of losing this will drive them on to make sure they get something out of the season, but on consecutive weekends they have now lost the title whilst being well beaten by Dagenham and lost the FA Trophy Final. Clearly they have the best squad and they deserve to be favourites, but they are too short for me and so I will be looking to the other half of the draw for the winners.
As I mention below I think Halifax will win on Tuesday, but even if Chesterfield do get through I think Solihull can beat either of them at home and thus Solihull are the bets for me at 3/1. I wasn't sure about Ardley coming as manager at the start of the season because I thought he under performed at Notts County, but fair play to him as he has managed to finish above his old club in the table. Almost unnoticed they sneaked into 3rd place and they were only 1 point behind Wrexham at the end. If we just used the last 15 games they would have finished top of the table 1 point in front of Wrexham and Stockport. They also played both those sides over Easter away and got a deserved point at Wrexham whilst only going down to a 90th minute goal at Stockport. They have been really good in the last few games of the season and I think they have it in them to beat whoever they end up facing (likely Wrexham) at the Olympic Stadium in a couple of weeks time.    Halifax v Chesterfield As mentioned above I don't have an opinion on tomorrow's game, but I certainly do in Tuesday night's match as Halifax do look a fantastic bet. They won 17 out of 22 games at the Shay during the season and took an impressive 53 points in the process. They aren't prolific in front of goal, but they find a way to win games especially at home. Chesterfield have been woeful since Paul Cook took over as manager as they have gone from title contenders to barely making the play-offs. I know injuries have played a part especially to Tshimanga, but even so Cook has looked clueless and they don't even deserve to be in the play-offs. Tshimanga has already been ruled out of playing a part in them so he can't even rescue them. The one thing I will say is when they played this fixture on Easter Monday and Halifax won 2-0 I did think Chesterfield played quite well, but that is the only game that I have seen them play well since Rowe left. It has become a bit of a free hit for Chesterfield so maybe they might perform better, but on everything we have seen Halifax look a great bet at 6/4 as they really ought to be shorter.   Solihull to win promotion 1pt @ 3/1 with Bet365, Betfred and BetVictor (take up to 9/4) Halifax 3pts @ 6/4 with Bet365 (take up to 11/10)

    Hello my friend.
I have decided to play only medium stakes in order not to lose much money. This is a very good thing.
You are right, I will now put my profit/loss at each bet result.
    Have a nice day

He made such a shit show of that 18th it was bordering embarrassing. I actually was waiting for him to choke to be honest and I had a little saver bet on Thomas too, at 10/1 so that and the 40/1 placing ain’t too bad but yeah, gotta laugh. If I didn’t bet on him, he’d of won

I think that was a wise move Harry. I think i would have got itchy trigger fingers after the 2nd round and cashed out then lol. It's been such a topsy turvy leaderboard i don't think it would be worth the potential last round stress just for a few extra points profit. Great selections and well done mate.

I'm out with a profit of 86.5 x stake (would only be 92 if all 3 players stayed where they are and there's more potential downside than up for Pereira and Young with them being 1st and 4th). Closed out on those two at 4 and 8 respectively, Gooch at 37.5 for a small profit. Was slightly surprised to be able to take a profit on him with him being T36th. Would be the wrong decision should he shoot a good final round but he's gone 69, 70 and 74 so far and my gut says he may fade further today.
Good luck to those still with an interest. From my point of view I'd be slightly less rueful about not putting win bets on if none of my players won but I hope Pereira lands the odds for those who did back him that way.

Hats off to those who tipped Pereira. Whether he wins to not, that's some top tipping to pick him out. Hopefully he gets over the line

Pereira currently 2nd and quoted at 7-10, Young T10 and 22-25 and Gooch T17 and 26-29. 72 points profit to be had if I close out (compared to around 101 if they all stayed where they are). I think I'll let it run. Partial closure is also an option.

I use to think in terms of "never bet odds on" and by odds on I really meant shorter than 2/1! That was a long time ago though.
In terms of the spreads I used to think "sell high and buy low" but really meant "just buy low, never sell as it's too risky". Now I tend more to "sell everything and rarely buy anything".
    We live and learn!

A long time ago I used to think that value only really existed at odds against, and it's a line you see trumpeted all over the place. The reality though, and it makes perfect sense, is it can exist at any price.

After two rounds the main guy I'll be rooting for from here is Mito Pereira for @Fader and @harry_rag so come on Mito lad lets kick on with the excellent form Saturday and Sunday.
I also noticed Cameron Young and Taylor Gooch are in decent positions for your spread bets Harry so well done indeed, as I feel it's been a tough event so far.
My guys as alluded to yesterday have slim pickings for Major glory so I will be cheering for a Mito masterclass at Southern Hills the next two days. #Mito'sOnFire

16.48 if you dutch best exchange price. Kasatkina is the only player available at better odds with the bookies; 80/1 on offer with PP or Lads. The latter the place to go if you think she's worth an interest as, with boost, you can get her at 100/1 e/w versus just 60 win only on BF.

Well, I know nothing about tennis but I'd say unappealing at the price. You could easily beat those odds by shopping around and dutching the players yourself, or just by doing so on the exchange. I have no view on the prospect of the players but I reckon you could get at least 15 with a little "leg work".
