    Busy day yesterday!
4 out of 4 on the RU sells, only Castres hotshots didn't make up at zero but still a 6 point profit despite 2 tries. 149 points profit.
2 of the 5 goalscorers obliged (Hall for Chorley and Terrode for Hamburg) for 2 winning bets from 8. 104 points returned 144 for a 40 point profit.
No joy with the buy of Leverkusen headed goal minutes so a loss of 35 points.
Neither of the TD scorers obliged so a loss of 46 points.
108 point profit on the day and 179.5 points up overall.

Kyren Wilson takes on Gary Wilson at 1pm and I like the look of Kyren Wilson to win here. Gary Wilson has been struggling with his form at the Championship League snooker and has been getting quite peeved off with it, too. I think Kyren is still in decent form right now.
2pts K.Wilson pot first ball, most century breaks and win 4/1 paddypower
2.5pts K.Wilson (-2.5 frames) to beat G. Wilson evens paddypower

In the top half, I will go with Murphy. It's huge value really. He looks likely to get to the semi-final in my eyes, where he will be facing the winner of Selby/Robertson. On his day he can do that.

Judd Trump has pulled out of The Masters. Robertson looks a good shout now but at 3/1 that's far too short for me. Selby at 5/1 looks just as likely really with better odds on the table. In the other half, Higgins is in good form and could face Ronnie. Kyren Wilson will have something to say about that though.
I'll give Higgins and Allen a chance here. Allen's odds are huge and in any event if he is on song, he can beat anybody. We saw that only a month or two ago.
    1pt E/W J.Higgins to win The Masters 14/1 willhill
    1pt E/W M.Allen to win The Masters 16/1 paddypower

I'm being brave next weekend ....got the 2 x 33pt rollover bets from last weekend ....I could just pick a small race but I've got a better chance of picking a big priced winner in the big races so I'm gonna go for it ......first race I'm currently looking at is the rescheduled welsh national .......Ive passed it through the computer and I have ......
    The two amigos    355
    Christmas in April  345
    Cloudy glen    341
Well ......that seems pretty cut and dry .....what's anyones opinions on top 2 here ....especially 2 amigos....do you think hes worth putting up as the rollover bet given theres 19runners....gulp .....christmas in april is no mug though ....and looks a good type for this sort of race ...?
Currently 2 amigos is around  10/1 ...so that would be a 360 odd pt return bet

**** update.....first of the 33pt rollover bets from last week .....given the ground is heavy I'm going 25pt win at 16.5  betfair on THE TWO AMIGOS which I think is an incredible price ....and an 8pt saver on CHRISTMAS IN APRIL ..AT 11.5 at betfair ....I'm happy with those bets and as its bookies money really as I  recouped my original stake it's a shot to nothing in my eyes

Donaldson makes the final. Goes 1-0 up on Dott but loses 3-1. Still, Dott is another on the outright picks for the event so that's not all bad. Both Yuelong and Dott progress to the next round and both Higgins and Donaldson will have another chance today in Group 3 :
    J. Higgins
    S. Donaldson
    M. Selt
    M. Selby
    Z. Xintong
    K. Wilson
    T. Ford
Selby is the first name to leap off the page. Mark is in the form of his life at the moment but at just 2/1 and Higgins/K.Wilson at 3/1 provide no value for me. I feel like I can put a line through Selt and Xintong and so that leaves me with Donaldson and Tom Ford.
Ford is around 9/1 and Donaldson, despite making the final, is now 10/1. I'll take both. Ford can score big when on form. This is a hard group to win with Higgins, Kyren Wilson and Selby all likely to make the semi-finals.

    1pt T. Ford to win Group 3 17/2 bet365

    Bromley v Chesterfield
If you had said to me a few months ago that I will have a bit of a hatred for Chesterfield I would have called you crazy, but they then preceded to take our manager who then preceded to take 3 of our players with him despite agreeing to only take the one. I genuinely hope they lose every game as Rowe has done his upmost to disrupt Gloucester's season. All that said I am backing Chesterfield again here and when it comes to punting I always say you can't let your heart rule your head. I watched the game against Solihull and although Solihull dominated possession, Chesterfield had the better chances and really ought to have won. They conceded two poor goals as well (something Gloucester used to do under Rowe) which obviously didn't help matters. Bromley are a good side, but they have had a Covid break as well as being poor at home. They were shocking against Yeovil last month and have only won twice all season at home. Chesterfield should be sharper and Asante looked unplayable at times on Tuesday night. 2/1 is too big about an away win.
    AFC Telford v AFC Fylde
I opposed Fylde last week, but they were really impressive against an in form Chorley. Granted Chorley may have had an eye on the Derby match, but even so it was a big statement after some ropey results. Telford have only picked up 1 point in their last 4 and were well beaten by Chester last weekend.
    Farsley Celtic v Guiseley
I am keen on the home side here. Granted they lost 4-0 to Boston in their last game, but that was their first defeat in 7. These two drew 2-2 on Boxing Day in the reverse fixture, but Farsley should have won and at home I think they can gain 3 points. Guiseley have only won 2 of their last ten and have been struggling on the whole this season.
    Gloucester City v Kidderminster
Obviously I hope we win, but Kidderminster are over priced at 2/1. From the start of the season it looks like we will have lost 5 of our 10 outfield players. At least 2 others are injured and even if Liam Daly doesn't join Barnet he is suspended for this game anyway. McClure missed the Leamington game due to injury as well although he could be back for this. We were poor against Leamington and are squad is nowhere near the level it was at the start of the season. Kidderminster were struggling a little and have only won 1 in 5, but they were improved against York on Tuesday night in a 2-2 draw. I honestly would make Kidderminster slight favourites for this especially if McClure is missing again.
Concord Rangers v Hampton & Richmond
Hampton stream their games for free so having opposed them in their last two games I have had them on a 2nd screen whilst watching the Gloucester games and I have been impressed by them. As I pointed out their home form has not been good, but they can consider themselves unlucky to only have picked up 1 point from the Dulwich and Dorking games. Away from home they have won 6 of their 7 games and their only defeat was on the opening day of season at St Albans who are 2 points off top spot having played 3 games less than the two teams above them. Concord are basically a mid table side and Hampton look a much better side.
    Hungerford v Maidstone
Hungerford might drift again as the Asian punters seemingly love to take them on, but they are a good side this season. They lost to Havant last weekend 4-2, but they played their part in a good game and played well. Maidstone's last league game was on December 1st and their last game was in the FA Trophy the Saturday before Christmas. There has surely got to be some rustiness in the side after their Covid enforced break and Hungerford are good enough to take full advantage.
    Chesterfield 1pt @ 21/10 with William Hill
AFC Fylde 1pt @ 11/8 with William Hill and Betfred
Farsley Celtic 2pts @ 5/4 with Betfair and Betfred
    Kidderminster 1pt @ 2/1 with Bet365
    Hampton & Richmond 2.5pts @ 11/10 with Bet365
    Hungerford 1pt @ 13/8 with Bet365

I should think Manchester City will beat Spurs in the Final Gooner, I hope so.
United have improved recently Vikki but I reckoned City would be too strong this time. I'm getting the covid jab on Friday morning which is good news for me. Just hope the terrible loss of life will be brought under control soon. Puts things into perspective.

Liverpool seem to have hit a bad patch at the moment along with some of their stars Gooner. But it's a difficult time for sport and for punters.
Late goals by Troyes won the bet so it turned out ok.

    Tomorrow's Group 2 line-up :
    K. Wilson
    M. Selt
    S. Donaldson
    G. Wilson
    G. Dott
    S. Bingham
    J. Higgins
Despite the fact that he could make the semi-finals, I'm once again putting a line through Bingham. Gary Wilson and Matt Selt are also easily layable. That leaves Kyren Wilson, Donaldson, Dott and Higgins. Ofcourse, Kyren won this event before and is the reigning champion. You'd have to say that with his form, he's a favourite tomorrow. Price wise though, both Higgins and Kyren are just 4/1 and that's far too short for me.
That leaves Dott and Donaldson. This event is such a nice betting angle because you can come 4th in the group and come through to win the day.  Both Dott and Donaldson are outright picks for me so I'm not too keen to get involved but I will take a small punt on Donaldson tomorrow. He's won this event before (backed at 66/1) and I don't think it's completely against the realm of possibility to think he can make the top 4.

indeed. Price gave him plenty of chances at the end there but Gary wasn't up to it. The 13/2 comes for me to cover my other bets for the night. A year of darts over with. Also, as normal, the Prem League line-up has came out :
    Price
    Wright
    Van Den Bergh
    Cross
    Aspinall
    Anderson
    Durrant
    MVG
    De Sousa
I'm not sure Durrant would be there if wasn't for winning it last time out. Cross seems an odd choice. Has been pretty poor for a while now. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Very attacking line-up. I would have Smith for Cross atleast
