MCLARKE got a reaction from AussieFrank in Racing Chat - Wednesday July 8th
Yes, one benefit of watching USA racing is how quickly they load.

MCLARKE got a reaction from BillyHills in Viewing from outside the course
I think you can see Chester from the city walls if I remember correctly.

MCLARKE got a reaction from The Equaliser in Racing Chat - Thursday July 2nd
I'm good ta, haven't bet much since the lockdown but form hopefully settled down a bit and made a bit of money so far in July so might start putting up a £20 selection each day.

If you are backing favourites then you are better sticking to class 1 races rather than class 6 races. At BSP over the last 5 years on the flat you would have made a ROI of 9% on class 1 races and a loss of 3% on class 6/7 races.
I wouldn't restrict my lay bets to handicap bets because the loss has been higher for non-handicap class 6/7 races at 9%, albeit there are more handicaps than handicaps.
Interestingly a profit would have been made on the all weather courses so it may be wise to exclude these.
Also horses that finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd last time performed particularly badly.
Good luck, if these past trends continue you should be able to make good profits with these lay selections, as always with horse racing you have to hope the trends continue, they often don't unfortunately.

MCLARKE got a reaction from BillyHills in Latest Table - May 2020
You could be right, I just don't enjoy it when the odds are stacked against us. I've been stuck indoors now for 57 days, perhaps I'm going stir crazy. Looking forward to the 1st of June. Keep up the good work.

MCLARKE got a reaction from calva decoy in Racing Chat - Thursday May 14th
Most bookies only do BOG on UK and Ireland, another reason why it's so difficult to make money on international racing.

MCLARKE reacted to Valiant Thor in Racing Chat - Wed 6th May
I suppose with the limited data being worked with getting 4 from 6 actual runners in the first 3 could be classed as an achievement from basic number crunching & just a tad better than random selection, will have a play with some different parameters. (keeps me occupied at least, better than watching mind numbing daytime tv)

I have to agree most of these jockeys somewhat mercurial style does tend to make Luke Morris's riding look veritably elegant

I've had some pretty decent wins on the us racing but it still leaves a bitter taste at the way some of these races are run and dear dear dear the jockeys , well what can you say ,been watching on my phone , just had to retrieve it from the back garden lol

MCLARKE got a reaction from vikki37 in Naps Competition - Proposal For April
Yep same here, can't get anything delivered so my daughter who livers a fair way away has to do the shopping. My next door neighbour who lives with his wife and grown up son who are all healthy seems to receive a delivery almost every day from various supermarkets, so much for supporting those who are in need.
Congrats with the Grand National !

MCLARKE got a reaction from LeMale in £20 Daily Challenge - All Welcome
Another decent month with a profit of £57.06.
Total profit now £317.71, ROI 8%.
I'm making small profits on international racing using the price boost with Unibet so I'll give that a bash today.
WILL ROGERS DOWN 8.15 ROOKIE SEASON 10/11
£20 WIN UNIBET.

I see. Precautions have to be extreme in those cases. Just I was just suprised by the 12 weeks, I understood the quarantine to be 2-4 weeks.
@MCLARKE, @Donnyflyer, @vikki37 take care and stay safe.

MCLARKE reacted to Trotter in Naps Competition - Proposal For April
Thanks BH and Paul
I'm sure most of us are already going stir crazy after a few days stuck indoors.
I know I am .... ?
I'm on the laptop about 14 hours a day desperately looking for something to fill the time !
I didn't really intend to bother with the overseas racing but after a few days I found myself having a casual glance and the Hong Kong meetings look OK for UK & Ire punters .... lots of handicaps and not many tracks. Might have a crack at that while they're still racing.
Main thing though ....... everybody look after yourselves ....... let's hope we all get throught it and things return to normal in a few months

Yep, thanks for the excellent site, I'm stuck indoors with the wife for 12 weeks and it certainly helps with my routine to visit the site once a day.
