sawbobandb
Hi all. As we can’t get into meetings, anybody know where you can see some of the racing from ‘outside’. The downs at Goodwood as an example. Thanks!
BillyHills
They have warned people off from going to Epsom tomorrow. Cant see the point really, why would you bother?
sawbobandb
I wouldn't bother going inside Epsom ? can't stand the course! Ok Cheers Billy. Know of any others where you can at least see a bit? I think you can at the July Course at Newmarket...
BillyHills
I think there are quite a few but wouldn't know the best ones for actually seeing the action, maybe some others will know.
MCLARKE
I think you can see Chester from the city walls if I remember correctly. BillyHills
Darran
Yeah Chester is one you can easily watch for free, but I think that's one of the reasons why they aren't racing until at least September. Epsom only racing tomorrow because its the Derby. I did notice some people sat at Southwell just as they entered the back straight on Wednesday and Bath had in running punters watching on as well. I imagine most courses have spots where you can watch the action from without having to go inside, but again at the moment it seems a bit pointless. LEE-GRAYS
Way my horses are running at moment I don’t want to watch them?
notanotherdonkey
Musselburgh you can watch from about the 3 to 2 furlong from the road as the course is not far from the centre of town.I do not know about the views mind as it is over a stone wall and just on a pavement. I saw the people on the deck chairs at Southwell as well , at Chantilly there's more people watching racing now than if they'd have to pay to get in ? Wonder if anyone will have their caravan pitched up now rules have been relaxed at Yarmouth tonight ?
