BookiesNo1Enemy
Re: Club Friendlies > 16th July 2011 Well done Jase, great calls considering that friendlies are a minefield for betting! I followed on the Chelsea win but must say that your lot looked very decent and I agree that you should have at least had a draw from it. I doubled them with HJK Helsinki who are 3-0 up at half time. It is great time to get one over the bookies if we can seek out nuggets of information regarding team strength etc. keep up the great work and if any strong info pops my way i will post asap! thc
Re: Club Friendlies > 16th July 2011 Did you guys know that Atletico Madrid and RSD Alcala played a friendly match exactly one year ago? Guess what- Atletico won 8-2. I will probably Atletico -2.5 1.641 at Pinnacle. Or maybe even over 4 at 1.917, who knows. This is not a tip. Spooner
Re: Club friendlies 18 July 2011 Bray have been poor in their own league lately losing 5 of their last 6, interestingly their last four matches have had 3+, Liverpool are likely to field a young side and normally we see goals in more youth games and in friendlies in general, so if anyone's having a bet here with bet365 then Over 3 Goals (AH) @ 2.00 could be the way to go. I was about to post something similar. Liverpool's youth/reserve setup is strong. I expect the likes of Raheem Stirling to play (real talent for the future who scores bags of goals) and like you say, their reserve team is always involved in high scoring games. Their 3 reserve matches agaisnt Brentford, Everton and Man Utd reserves were 4-4, 1-4 and 2-2 respectively. Bray are inferior to any of these terms reserve sides so I'm expecting a high scoring game with a Liverpool XI win.

Shipsupstreets
Re: Club Friendlies > 18th July hi odds on Staines Town are dropping, any reason for this :cheers They are drifting. They have been poor in friendlies so far, with the defence undone at regular intervals by AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe. The also put out mixed sides on Saturday and Sunday. Darlington are including some trialists tonight, but they really should have enough, although the price is a touch thin.
BetMiki
Re: Friendlies Tip: Sporting HT/FT @2.24 (vs Ankaragucu) Stake: 6/10 Sporting Portugal started their pre-season with two victories while training in Holland. While these were against lower teams, Ankaragucu is still below Sporting's quality. With a new coach (Domingos, who took Braga to Europa Ligue final last season), Sporting are much stronger this year and stars Izmailov and Rinaudo are ready to hit the field. Last time out, Domingos fielded a reserve team to beat Dutch 2nd division team Telstar by 3-0. Against the Turkish team, Sporting will be full of regulars and the line-up as the manager anounced he will start selecting the ideal XI for next season. Ankaragucu has just starting their training and will be out of depth against Sporting.
soundingstylish
Club Friendlies > 19th July Cheltenham vs Bristol City - Bristol City @ 1.83 - Hills 2pts Getting straight to the point here but Cheltenham are poor, really poor. I am strongly thinking about sticking a large one on them being relegated this season. They are a young bunch of lads around about my age without many leaders and they will be needing a leader after Christmas. The selling of Thomas (41 apps, 18 goals), their top goalscorer from last season, to Crawley is a massive loss. Without him they would have been relegated no doubt about that. Anyway onto the friendly. City are sending a strong 11 down to face Cheltenham who are still trying to get their fitness levels up. They will be introducing three trialists to the game at some point and even though its a friendly I just can't see how Cheltenham win here. They drew 1-1 with Telford on Saturday but if the rumours of a strong City 11 are true then they will have far too much in all departments. garyfinny
Re: Club Friendlies > 19th July SJK v Leyton Orient - even as an Orient fan I would find this impossible to price up - the bookies have gone for 1.4 which for me, is a bit of a guess at best. Orient have already had one game in Finland which was a narrow 3-2 win, and many first-team players are out - the back four of second choice keeper Butcher, an 18-year old midfielder playing right-back, a trialist taken along with no hope of a deal and just to make up the numbers.... The midfield and up front look fine, so f I was a betting man, both teams to score (1.6 Wills) and over 3.5 (2.25) look good to me.

Yeah but Ajax was much above Regensburg which is a German 3rd Liga team and the game ended as 0:0. Also before that they had a narrow 1:0 win against Netherlands 2nd Division team Emmen which finished on 13 last season, and 4 days ago lost to Nurnberg 2:0 in a game where Nurnberg was the better side. After the game with Brondby, Ajax gonna play vs Independiente which seems to be of special interest for the fans and I wouldn't be surprised if Ajax would take the game vs Brondby lightly and try to impress and bring happiness to fans against Independiente. The problem with friendlies is that smaller class teams usually fight to get something when playing bigger teams while the favorites usually take it easy. I wouldn't be surprised if the result was a draw or even a Brondby win :) No bet for me anyway, good luck!
