Lars
Re: The Punters Lounge 100/1 Challenge - Stu bangs in a beauty Finally on this bloody leaderboard! 16:35 Newton Abbott Lomitaar was quite promising when running in bumpers but hasn't taken to hurdles so far, but has had a break of 101 days since then and perhaps he has learnt how to handle the hurdling game better, and may run well today. Placed twice when running in NHF races, staying on well on his last start in that sphere. Looked very inexperienced when jumping fences for the first time however, finishing 129l behind on his hurdle debut, and pulling up last time out. Perhaps needing them runs as he hadn't run for a year before his hurdle debut. May now be refreshed, and the Newcombe yard have a fantastic record here of 4/18 (22.2%) and when they team up with Andrew Tinkler at the track, the record is 1/2 (50%). Has had a bit of money about for it, shortening from 80's to 33's with some bookmakers so will take the price now. A class 2 handicap run over 10 furlongs, I've looked at Johnston's as I believe he'll have a good festival, he has three in this but its a hard call what one to side with, I've looked elsewhere, something at a price, which leads me to: Indian Days - The stable will be full of hope here tomorrow with two runners, they saddle Dandino who's on a five-timer and must be the stable star. First up though in Indian Days, the horse is a consistent type at this level who goes well over the trip here, he has not had much favour from the handicapper. The trip is obviously one he enjoys, this will be the horses six consecutive start over the trip, he has two distance wins. He has two placed efforts over the C&D one of which coming in May, he looked like he could hold on from the front only to be caught in the final furlong by Imposing. He'll be ridden by Dale Swift, who's riding on the flat now since reducing his weight, he has had a good season and maybe will get a big race win to top it off, its his only ride of the day. He'll claim a useful 5lb this time, the horse has been dropped 2lb since his last race, Dale Swift rode this horse lto and claimed 7, so the horse is effectively runing off the same mark. I've watched the last race back over the C&D and he keeps plugging on, he went widest of all round the bend and headed for the stands rail, I think he has more to offer this time, Whilst the horse has not won off anything like this, he has ran well in defeat suggesting that its possible he could strike. The stable had one runner on Monday, which won, so that will give them confidence coming into this. At the price of 25/1, I'm happy to go in each-way. The horse was steamed into 12/1 too. :clap:clap:clap I would like to include the same horse for Diamond too but he didnt specify a price in the write up so dont thinks its fair on the others if its included, as others have sometimes posted picks up when they have been backed and entered onto the table for SP. diamond1924
Re: The Punters Lounge 100/1 Challenge - 66/1 winner for Lars I would like to include the same horse for Diamond too but he didnt specify a price in the write up so dont thinks its fair on the others if its included, as others have sometimes posted picks up when they have been backed and entered onto the table for SP. Sorry, Diamond, dont want to be seen as a meanie, but the consolation is the bursting betting balance you have for the winner ;) Hi Fin, I hadn't been trying to get in to this league mate, The odds on the horse was 20/1 when I'd got on in any case. :ok

My two against the field are SEA OF LEAVES 33/1 Betfred 1-5 backed it at York on Sat was slightly disappointing when well behind stable mate who Fallon was on he now takes over on this horse today and has 1st & 4th from the two rides and i think she will run a big race here. My second horse is JOSEPH HENRY 40/1 Betfred 1-5 Dandy Nicholls has plenty of runners in this but ill take a chance with this boy who has gone well in this before and is starting to show a bit of form of late. :ok

Ted proves to be sprint king with Jo Henry and Odds and Evens being found at massive prices in the sprint handicaps and his sparring buddy CC75 isnt to be outdone and won the Stewards Cup himself with a 28/1 whopped. Aidymac spotted the value big time in the opener yesterday and was lauging all the way to the counter when a horse he priced up at 12/1 won very cosily at 28/1 - would have won by several lengths with a clear run. On his southwell form he looks OK ! I've been waiting for him to get a decent draw over this CD since he ran an absolute corker from the graveyard draw up against the rail when finishing 3rd a few runs ago. Ignore his last run at york when he finished last, he must have cut in the ground or fibresand to run his race.
