MrMal
Re: Darts: PDC World Championships 2010 Just a word of thanks to all who contributed to this thread!:clap Have enjoyed the last few weeks. Don't know much about the players themselves but love to watch them in action. Well done to Kevshat on bringing Whitlock to everyone's attention! Another 5% concentration from the aussie and he could win it next year. :clap:clap:clap
kevshat
Re: Darts: PDC World Championships 2010 Didn't get the 180's I wanted in the final, although had it been 7-4 I think I would've done but Webster winning made a 5.25pt profit on the bets tonight along with a 61.5pt pickup on the Whitlock outright which when he went 2-1 up I thought might get paid in full. Unfortunately he walked into a 170, then a 161, then a 170 and then a 167 :sad. In the end Taylor was just too good but I'll more than take the 2nd place though. It all means a final tally of +89.48pts for me personally. It looks like another cracking night in this thread with winners galore. A fitting way to end a really really excellent tournament both in this thread and the darts in general. Top work from the likes of Perry, theoldmaster as well as the other sports talents such as cramer and spooner among many others who have provided winning insights, so many there's too many to name everyone. Well done all :clap:clap:clap.

Cosmetic Bob
Re: Darts: PDC World Championships 2010 Ok guys I've done my bet PHIL TAYLOR @ 2/5 stan James I don't need to go into detail here as we all know he will be very hard to beat, I've gone in big & he aint even being tested to the limit these days winning every tournament easily withouit being pushed, so why is he available at these odds? Judging on he's outstanding form this year where he has won every tv ranking tournament and winning this title 14 times he should really be no bigger thn 1/4 Another great factor into the price is he aint gotta face Barney Wade Anderson until the final Wade is an awful price around 8 or 9/1 mark as he aint been in a tv ranking final since world matchplay in july 08. Taylors biggest threat? Give me a break there's no value with Wade Can't have anderson how can a man who's best performance in bdo worlds a semi be among the favs in 2nd half to get to the final? He h Anderson was quite simply dismal in all he's years in the bdo worlds Barney is quite simply the class act in 2nd half everyone knows he is better than both the afore mentioned even on current tv ranking form and represents the 2nd half value at 14s ew GET IN THERE HAHA!! Also Congratulations Kevshat & anyone else who backed Whitlock before tourny started including Eric Bristow!

theoldmaster
Re: Darts: PDC World Championships 2010 yeah here, here this surely has to be an award winning thread everyday there was winners, and the bookies fair took a pasting from us, thanks to all who contributed noticed a few new names on here, welcome to you all specialist sports like darts needs as many new students as it can get i'm delighted with last night i had Whitlock e-w, 170 check out, over 135.5, +4.5 handicap, correct score ALL coming in, also bet on the next 180 market, and made a 500% profit on that. anyway hope you will all return for Players Championship thread at the end of the month will see you all then. PerryPFC
Re: Darts: PDC World Championships 2010 Just to reiterate... Top work to Kevshat specifically, can't've been far off a 30pt profit throughout the tourney plus Whitlock EW outright. I did read some drivel about getting lucky.... Correct me if i'm wrong but you had Waites @ 80 -100/1 EW for grand slam also? I'm a bit thick.. but what are the odds of 'luckily' picking two players at average odds of 100/1 in 2 tournaments in a row?? It comes down to a helluva knowledge of the game and a nose for great odds. Congrats also to theoldmaster and all others that contributed. The reason this site is so good is contained within this thread. Roll on the players championship!
