Dodger Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Re: Poker Trillion Issues Just wish to add my own personal views on this move: I played at Pokerforever regularly two years ago but lost interest due to lack of players...however two years is a long time in the evolution of a poker site so things could be better now. As far as the software itself...as far as I can remember, I never had a problem with it. Oh and I can sit at the tables as the :cow''fat b@stard'':cow once again, which is fun! Now Poker Trillion clashes with nothing...so we should all be able to play here...even when the numerous Boss sites have games going at the same time...this eases my problem massively. It's nice to see a poker site offering added value to our poker and Poker Trillion have not been slow in offering PLers great added value tournaments and freerolls. But that is secondary to me...the most impressive thing is their willingness to respond quickly and openly to questions here on the forum. I downloaded the new software this afternoon and after being blocked from my old Trillion account a couple of weeks ago I could not remember any details, username or password :$:lol 5 minutes with their live help ( which was an instant reply btw, no waiting 20 minutes like the old boss system) I was all sorted out with username and password arrived via email within 3 minutes. Good start with the customer service PT :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap Totally agree.... spent 10 minutes talking to Ioina yesterday and she sorted me out! ;) Just need to get my funds sorted now! I started to use the download link in the email I got but this had a suffix "blonde.exe" which made me think they have me as a blonde forumite for the future challenge? Should I be using a PL link, or doesn't it matter as I already have an account? Edit: just tried but the PL banners and hyperlinks are not working (presume link to boss?) Personally I think a company that wants to go down that security route should request these things before a deposit is even allowed, rather than make the request once they have processed the transaction and have hold of the money. We will not hold anyones deposit up, however it is good practice to send off the proofs in your own time, then if you need higher limits or need to make a large withdrawal, there will be nothing to hold it up. When sending credit cards, you can hide the last 4 numbers, and there is a handy uploader on in the cashier section. Hope you understand. Col Colin, I have a suggestion that you might like to pass on to your network provider for a possible software enhancement. Change the rules regarding MTTs only, to allow multiple registrations from the same IP but never allow more than one player with the same IP on the same table. This is the way CraptoLogic do it and I think is a good compromise. The way it works on Crapto is if I move to a table that Mrs_ColU is already sat at then I am automatically made a sit out until either I move or she moves.
