Cocked it up last night, went off obe royal ew @ 20's & went for the comfortable bet for nothing ew on Mr Cellophane which didnt place. Run out of time for this month unless someone has lost a few quid?? Probably stick up a couple of 20/1 shots today for low stakes just to see whether i can make any progress. My racing tips havent gone well !!

Re: Sports Punter 2008 - Latest oh well , i treid & may take a look tonight for some inspiration. Went with 40/1 Tamadot EW finished ...yes you guessed it 4th beaten 3/4L for a place. Next race Oceanos thingy won, excellent until i saw the 15/2 SP, i took 11/2 & only managed 3pts win Next Minella Tipperary, i get the best price & yet again another fcuking 4th place to ruin my day!

Re: Sports Punter 2008 - Latest Hmmmm, I ended up +3.71 pts for tonight thanks to Ben Bacchus which puts me 8.47 pts ahead of ffallen. The only results of ffallens I can find were the Iranian footie where he had 4 out of 8 at average odds of 1.86. This could be really, really close. Would be happy with 3rd but 2nd would just be excellent. :hope:hope

Excellent, well done mate. Fully deserved, I suppose ffallen still had a bet or 2 to settle or they got 1 wrong?? Pity i cant improve on 5th!! Will launch an assault during Cheltenham week. mostly 2pt bets but big prices.

Re: Sports Punter 2008 - Latest :hope Theres a bit of a hardluck story behind this months figures too in that one of my Cheltenham bets, Corskeagh Royale was placed at 14/1 but I inputted it as Corskeagh Approach on Sports Punter for some reason. As the favourite was called Apt Approach, my tip was a bit ambiguous so it had too be voided - hope it doesnt cost me but i've got a feeling it will!! Cracking month for you Mr I :clap

Good luck to you and Mr.I although i have no idea how you can work your positions out with so many bets unsettled, its the one thing that lets the site and competition down in my opinion.

Was looking at that myself AK, how come some of the other Cheltenham bets were declared as NR's?
Corskeagh Approach/Royal was void because I cocked up the name, Theatre Girl was an ante post bet so that should be (-4 pts) i'd guess? :unsure. I'll drop Dave an email. I've gone for one more bet this month in the 2.30 at Southwell - if it loses thats me out of the prize money pretty much. If it wins it gives me a chance.
