Re: Daily donkeys. 2.05 Goodwood: SCOTTISH STAGE Second in the oaks behind ALEXANDROVA aint bad and this class act can get better. Promises to be suited by this step up in trip and both the easy ground and softer company will be to her liking. 2.40 Goodwood: LA CUCARACHA Ran well on her first run of the year but was disappointing last time in the July cup when she was well fancied by connections, it would be unwise to write her off just yet. 4.25 Goodwood: HEAVEN SENT The booking of Frankie on old Sniffys horse is very eye catching why not Moore who is also at Goodwood. and Ill take the Bin surrors in the big race 3.50 -Familiar Territory Minimum stakes on a L15 E/W

Re: Daily donkeys. 200 Goodwood: MULTIDIMENSIONAL Well bred and unbeaten in two starts; lot to like about handicap win under big weight last time, even though there are some holes to be picked in the form, and there should be more to come from him. 2.30 Goodwood: NANNINA I know Frankie on board Ouija Board will be the popular choice but Im going to have a nibble on NANNINA. Ive tipped this up before and it is proving to be a class filly. Looked the business in the Coronation Stakes and the Falmouth next time proved rather of a non-event. 3.05 Goowood: INTREPID JACK Peaking at the right time having run second in the Bunbury Cup, which has been a good pointer down the years. A furious pace back at 6furlongs will suit and interestingly fitted with a visor for the 1st time. Just the 3 for today. Round Robin or Patent.

Re: Daily donkeys. L15 for today. 7.40 Carlisle: BAUER Cant see past this TBH. Drop back in trip of no real concern given he has won at this trip and is plentypacey enough and should make bold bid, 8lb rise fair enough and with stable having won this in 2003. 2.20 Ripon: CODEWORD. Holds a Group One entry later in the year-Middle Park Stakes. Looked a useful prospect when turning over Fool Me´s odds-on stablemate Vauquelin in decent time at York; represents a very powerful 2yo team and should hold his own at higher level 3.20 Ripon: ICE PLANET In-form sprinter following his good second at York LTO and bypassed Goodwood to wait for this. Stable bang in form again and fancied to open his account for the campagin, perhaps at Fantasys Beliver and Knot in Wood's expense. 4.20 Ripon: ADELFIA 5th in a fair maiden at Newbury LTO and should run a big race now for 'Old Sniffy' as its upped in distance.

Re: Daily donkeys. 2.50 Pontefract: SUPERIOR STAR Good efforts tried visored on last two starts, seemingly much improved when running right away with modest 1m1f handicap at Musselburgh last week, and leading contender under 6lb penalty if in same mood as due to go up 12lb in weights from Saturday. The visor has been the making of him and will take some beating. 3.50 Pontefract: ROYAL JET Yet to win an handicap but fancied to put that right here following a near career-best 2nd at Ascot. Did well to finish so close behind Young Mick having been well back in the field 2F from the line. likes this track also a plus. 4.50 Pontfract: ROCLETTE held in very high regard by the Hill's stable and still looked in need of the run at Newbury LTO. C+D winner LANDUCCI runs here in the 4.10. Form for Brighton reads 1-13111-5 over the last 2 seasons. Pretty consistant IMO.

Re: Daily donkeys. bag 'o' shite that was.:sad 3.10 Lingfield: SANT ALENA Won nicely over 6F LTO and open to improvment now connections have found her best trip. 6.30 Haydock: GHOST DANCER. The trip back down to 5F is of great interest after showing lots of early pace at Wolverhampton LTO. 5.45 Newmarket: STARK CONTRAST Plenty to like about the way this Royal Lodge hopeful shaped in fourth in above-average nine-runner 7f maiden at York (second and third won well since); should be more like the finished article this time and looks the one to beat. 7.45 Newmarket: WINDSOR KNOT Should have come on since last run and can get the better of front runner Khyber Kim. Looked promising when winning Solario Stakes as 2yo and got career back on track when runner-up in Listed events over this trip at Sandown and Newbury last month. Interesting Frankies got just the 2 rides tonight.

Re: Daily donkeys. just the 1 winner.

7.45 Newmarket: WINDSOR KNOT
1.40 Haydock: MILITARY CROSS Likes the good test over a mile and likes this ground. Ran well from wrong side to finish 3rd at Ascot LTO and worht a chance today based on that run. 2.05 Newmarket: TAKAFU Penultimate defeat of Whispering Death represents sound form and the step back up in trip will suit. His small stable is in fine form at present and there are strong grounds for supporting him here. 2.45 Haydock: ROAD TO LOVE Significant improvement of late, one blip at Newmarket apart (went off too fast), last time making most and forging right away for clearcut win in valuable 1m2f Goodwood handicap; well worth the rise in grade judged on that smart latest form and promisesto take plenty of catching. 3.10 Newmarket: ENGLISH BALLET Upped to 7F after doing really well scoring over 6F at the first time of asking.

Re: Daily donkeys. I like the look of McEvoy tonight 6.15 Nottingham: SESMEN Form of narrow debut win in 7f Kempton maiden has worked out well (runner-up placed at Glorious Goodwood, third, fourth and fifth have won since); faces stiff competition from top yards on turf debut but chance is taken with McEvoy on board. 4.00 Brighton: RAHYS CROWN 2nd last week at Bath, still lightly raced, stays this trip and receives plenty of weight. 6.45 Nottingham: DOCTOR SCOTT This 3yo is given another chance after his Goodwood run as he was close to a fast pace and it was understandable he faded away. He looked better the time before and may just get an easy lead here. 7.45 Nottingham: GREEN MANALISHI Will appreciate the drop in grade after his respectable effort from a poor draw in Group 3 company last time.

Re: Daily donkeys. 4.00 Salisbury: PICTAVIA Godolphin's charge is selected to regain the winning thread after a slightly disappointing run at Newmarket. That looked a stronger contest though and a reproduction of that effort could suffice against today's opponents.(atr) Main danger is Princess Nada. 1-3 Forecast.

Re: Daily donkeys. 4.40 Beverley: HUNTERS' GLEN Godolphin's HUNTERS' GLEN can build on his debut run behind Somersault at Thirsk twelve days ago, especially as today's extra quarter of a mile should suit, so he is the one they all have to beat. Just going to do those today.

Re: Daily donkeys. As mentioned in the Salisbury thread. Im gonna put frankies 4 rides in a L15 today. 2.00 Salisbury: RACING TIMES. Racing Times Shaped as though he would be better for the outing and the experience when close 10-1 fifth of nine in 6f Newmarket maiden, leaving the impression he would be much sharper in the future. Stable in good form - and with their 2yos - so safe to expect a bold show with Frankie Dettori on board an obvious plus. 3.05 Salisbury: HIGHLAND BLAZE Didn´t show much in last season´s only run, though soft ground might not have suited; plenty has to be taken on trust but is a well-bred colt from top, in-form stable running in a very ordinary race, so could well be worth chancing, particularly if thereis market support.(rp) 3.40 Salisbury: TRICK OR TREAT. Kicked off winning spree over Beverley's stiff 1m2f and needed every yard of the 1m4f to reel in Bollin Dolly at Pontefract before beating subsequent winner Squirtle and Bollin Dolly more emphatically at Thirsk. Has advanced from 56 to 74 in the ratings and now taking on older horses but will at least get the race run to suit her. 4.15 Salisbury: BELENUS Didn´t live up to home work last year and needs to improve on bare form of his comeback defeat of good handicapper at Newmarket (first run for over a year) this month but only lightly raced and fair chance he could do so, with stable beginning to look back to most powerful best and successful in both this contest last year and in the Listed event here yesterday.(rp)

Re: Daily donkeys. 3.15 Newbury: ZURBARAN Has to carry a 6lb penalty for winning at Nott on his first start for Meehan. But he should take some stopping off the bottom weight despite that penalty. 4.00 Folkstone: QUAICH Frankies ONLY ride this afternoon. The well-bred Danehill filly galloped clear by five lengths to win on her debut at Thirsk earlier this month and is sure to come on for the run. 4.10 Newcastle: KOOL OVATION Loves this track and has been a model of consistency. he ran on well last time on should be there or there abouts. 7.35 Newmarket: PERFECTPERFORMANCE Probably a shit price but should win this. Godolphin representative PERFECTPERFORMANCE should prove too classy for him. Although not regarded as top drawer the 4-y-o Rahy colt, if fit after over a year off, should prove too good for these. both Godlphin horse are going in a straight double due to the price. The other 2 going in a £5 E/W double and all 4 going in a 30p L15 e/w

Re: Daily donkeys. Call me mug punter but Im going for these today in a L15. 3.45 Newbury: CARADAK Caradak, proven in the mud. The Godolphin representative will go close whatever the underfoot conditions. 3.10 Newbury: GUADALAJARA This isn't as competitive as in recent seasons and, with the Godolphin team in such spell-binding form, their French import GUADALAJARA could be the one to take advantage 5.15 Ripon: ACT FRIENDLY Stepping up to 1m2f brought out the best in ACT FRIENDLY who opened her account on her seasonal reappearance at Newcastle last month. Trying an even longer distance today, she is fancied to make her handicap debut a winning one. 7.30 Goodwood: ASTRONOMIA Dual winner up to 1m2f in Australia last year and placed in Group 1 company over 1m4f; not totally disgraced (yard out of form) on first run for new yard at Ascot in May but well beaten in Group 2 there following month; stable in much better form now.

Re: Daily donkeys. Lets have another go at this; 2.40 Hamilton: FONTHILL ROAD Gold cup winner 9 days ago and will love the going on his favourite track. 3.30 Brighton: LANDUCCI Absolute flying machine here on his favourite track with a very impressive win record over 7f(also has won over 8f)5wins from 8 runs. I'd be very very surprise if he didnt piss this. 4.20 Bath: SEEKING KALI Seeking Kali is a progressive sort who might have more to offer with the visor fitted for the first time. Great combo of 'Old sniffy' M.Soute and Moore. 3.20 Bath: OPERA CROWN Chased home a decent horse LTO and although he wont be a great price he should take all the beating.

Re: Daily donkeys. Fooking Landucci -a neck a fooking neck:@:@:@:@ that was my banker. ah well onwards......... 3.40 Goodwood: POLAR BEN Chance is taken with this as he nearly turned over Sleeping Indian at Newbury LTO.This 7F specialist was boxed in at newbury and can make amends here today. Would be worth doing the Godolphin horse E/W as well. 2.00 Goodwood: GRAND HEIGHTS. Frankie on board this one caught my eye. Derby entry who has improved with every outing and likely to be seen to much better effect over 1m at this course than over 7f in a muddling event at Brighton on third run last time; Frankie Dettori takes over and, although handicapper hasn´t taken many chances, is very much of interest for nursery debut.(rp)

Re: Daily donkeys. 2.40 Newcastle: CHIEF OPERATOR. Half-siblings include Crimplene, who can list an Irish 1,000 Guineas among three Group 1 wins, and Chester Vase scorer Dutch Gold. Races aren't won on paper but his credentials far outweigh anything else's here, and it's hard to look beyond a debut win for him. 3.30 Salisbury: AQMAAR A good winning debut at newbury was followed by a disastrous run at Lingfield next time out where nothing went right for it. Should make amends here today. 3.10 Newcastle: OVERRULE Making the long trip to Newcastle might just pay off for this $190,000 newcomer where Noseda has a 28% strike rate this month 4.30 Salisbury: BLUE ECHO Won nicely at Sandown LTO when dropping back to 5f. Although this is a step up to her winning debut distance of 6f this is a harder race but she escapes a penalty for her Sandown win and there might just be a bit of value in this.

Re: Daily donkeys. just the 1 winner agian:sad 3.30 Newmarket: ASPERITY Narrowly denied by a more experienced rival on debut and can make amends here today. 4.20 Ayr: VELVET HEIGHTS Been running well enough, including in more competitive handicaps, to be of strong interest, way he travels through his races suggesting that drop back to 1m5f should be fine, particularly on soft (which he handles); Neil Callan a good booking as he has shown a good judge of pace front-running on many occasions this year, tactics which could very possibly be attempted here. 2.10 Hereford: ABSOLUTLYTHEBEST AP McCoy can make a dream return in what looks like 1 or only 2 rides today. This looks like its between the top 2 on the card with the other not much more open to improvement and AP has defied top weight twice with this horse. 4.40 Newmarket: PIVOTAL PRINCESS A very hard race with some top quality runners but chance is taken with Pivotal Princess. She has a big chance today going off her run at Beverley last month when narrowly defeated by Baltic King who ran 2nd behind Red Clubs at ascot 4days ago. The last Fav to win this was 8years ago you have been warned.
