muttley
The APAT UK Team Championship is taking place at Dusk til Dawn in Nottingham over the weekend of 11th February 2022. Would Punters Lounge be able to field a team for this? Rhino_Power
ian309
We've booked to go to Rome to watch England in the Six Nations that weekend, but in the (very likely) event that covid scuppers it, I'd be more than happy to turn out for PL
muttley
Just to clarify, we would need 8 players, and the application needs to be in by 24th December (not much time).
avongirl
Taken from APAT Facebook post ?? ???? ???????????? ???? - ???? ???????????? The event has also on occasion previously suffered from "team last minute dropouts", and therefore, as we did previously, ?? ???? ????? ???????? ? ??????? ???? and any team not meeting the buyin deadline of 14th Jan (all 8 members) will have their team entry offered to teams on the reserve list, and any team that pays the full buyins and has a last minute need to drop out will have their entry offered to the next team on the reserve list and whichever team takes up this option will have their buyins used to reimburse the team that had to drop out. The UK Team Championship is an OPEN event - ie open to ANY poker player, and the weekend supporting events are open to ANY individual player whether they play in the UK Team Championship or not. ??????? ???????? ?? ?????? avongirl
I've also had interest from Barry @juanmoment Anyone else back out playing live poker?
muttley
The deadline for entries is this Friday. Do we have to have all the names by then, or can we just apply as a team? I'm sure we would get a team together by Feb. I would be interested and available. avongirl
avongirl
I believe I can just apply for a spot and we can sort the team out in January.

muttley
We've been approved. Now we need to pick a team! This is only a suggestion, so feel free to shout me down, but I think selection should start with active forum members, and players who play in the Wed tourneys. Next priority should go to players who have turned out for PL before, and if we still haven't got 8 players then first to make themselves available. Danshot
Unfortunately I can not play the Wednesday League more then once a month mostly due to my work shifts , but I mostly agree should be fairly regular around the forum and games. I feel like we have a good basis of a team if we start with the players whom already reacted to the thread. Helen , Andy , Muttley ,Staffy and myself ..... also Ian if he is around but guess that is touch and go so wont know before 14th Jan Do we have anyone else throwing their name into the hat to play ? ian309
Bearing in mind that the Holding Tank will close three or four weeks before I get to know whether we'll be allowed to fly, it's probably best to consider me as a substitute for any last minute drop outs in the event that I become available. avongirl
avongirl
We still have some places available in our team for this. If you would like to take part I need to know in the next few days please, otherwise if we can't field a full team I'll reluctantly have to let our place go to a team on the reserve list. Message me on here or facebook
avongirl
I've pulled the PL team out of this as sadly we weren't close enough to a full team available. There are other open games running across the weekend so anyone can still go to DTD if they wish to support the APAT event. Xcout
McG
I see that Wayne Parker won the individual title - is he our nosey-p?
avongirl
It is indeed Wayne @Nosey-P (previoius PL team member) who won the overall individual tournament and the individual gold medal. Sorry, I put it up on the facebook group and haven't updated here. I'll find the actual report on APAT. Danshot
