The Quiet Man Posted February 14, 2020 Share Posted February 14, 2020 Evening folks, probably been around 10 years since I was last on the Forum......had a quick look and recognize a few names still posting although no sign of GaF which is very sad. Anyway, I think it's time to dabble back into poker (before I'm dead) and wonder if there's any recommendations for any decent Satellites or added value Tournies.....the value doesn't appear to be the same as it used to be back in the 'dark ages'. Cheers for any information that can win me a few quid and hopefully a couple of folk remember me!. avongirl Posted February 15, 2020 Share Posted February 15, 2020 Actually only 5 years since last here . Still a few of the old guard around though not much activity posting. There's not much value available these days sadly. Not as many sites to play on so choice more limited and lots of them have moved platform too so you'll probably have to download afresh. Personally I have only been playing our own PL league recently so can't really advise you where to start looking. Obviously lots available on PokerStars if you like ploughing through big fields, otherwise maybe have a look on the likes of Grosvenor, 32Red, Party. Tracking software killed online cash games years ago and Zoom poker and the likes were the final nails in the coffin for me. Good to hear from you and to see you're still playing but I'd stay on the island if I were you at the moment! I think live poker may be dead now anyway, casualty of the virus. Started playing again last month only in Party poker and 1 or 2 others, weird thing is it feels easier now????
