Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September PSV-Ludogoretz 1(-1EH) 2.3 with local I am taking this one early because i don't believe th price will last very long.Ludogoretz defeated both SLovan who i don't count as a strong team(no offence)and Partizan who is in deep crysis and generally i think that only their emblem is the same with the one from the years they were scary to play against. After this came Basel who were the real test before the groups stage. That was the time when Ludogoretz udnerstood that they are not ready for the big football yet.Broadly speaking Basel played at 100% about 20 minutes in the first game and about 30 minutes in the reversed fixture.Nevertheless it was enough for them to qualify.I want to start with saying that Ludogoretz started the preparations for the new season very early because of their low rate which destined them to begin their european participation from the earliest stage. There have been a month and a half since they are playing Wednesday\SUnday and our teams are not got used to it so it's about time for the fatigue to prevail.Yesterday Ludogoretz lost again this time visiting mediocre team of Cherno more who is in fact a typical home team giving a lot of fight when playing on home ground but still not much of a football skills.Ludogoretz defence problems have been well documented during last couple of months even in their friendly games.Thier CB's(Mantula and Moti)are clumsy and Barth is erratic in his perfomances. They all get hard up when face fast and mobile forwards as we saw happened against Basel and Partizan who were unlucky not to score.Ludogoretz concedes small number of goals in our local championship(which i predict is changing already) but that's why most of our forwards are not very quality one's..I watched Zagreb against Austria vienna and i can tell that Dinamo was the better team in Vienna and i can tell that they deserved to play in CHampions League.Last year DInamo Zagreb defeated Ludogoretz in the last round just before the group stage and just because of that before the draw this year Stoev(Ludogoretz coach)said that he wish his team to be in group with Dinamo and this time to win.Well now this wish came true and i want to see how that's going to happen.. Stoev was assigned as a Ludogorez coach a couple of monts ago and the results came as an euphiria, but now the magic of the new coach is gone and he has to start working...I don't see this happening but we shall see.....PSV is a team much similar to Basel. They pass the ball very fast with all of the players been technically gifted. They finish in top 3 of Netherland every year which i count to be in top 8 leagues in Europe.I cannot see anything else than demonstrative PSV win which will give the groups clear sign who is the boss and what will happen to the other teams visiting Philips Stadion.I think they will cover -2EH but let's stick to -1EH for now P.S the odds have already drop to 2.00 with bet365 Update:PSV will be without their captain Wijnaldum who is actually a big miss and Kerim Rekik is out too. For Ludogoretz out is Minev, who has an important role in both our national team and Ludogoretz. He will be replaced by Choco who is far from,Minev's form. It's important to notice that statistic is in favour of PSV.Bulgarian team has never been able to get something against PSV,even more we have never scored even a single goal against them and Bulgarian team has not registered a victory or draw at the start of the group stage of any European club competition when he was a guest in the first game. It's reported that the interest of the fans of PSV is too weak and about 11 000 people are expected to come at the stadium, which is good for our team but not of great importance.SO my bet is not in danger.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Bestikas beat Tromso in Turkey who are woeful on the road in their domestic league 2-0 in the qualifying match to knock them out. Bestikas however are banned from Europe and therefore Tromso went through. Now they are battling relegation in Norway after finishing 4th last year. Last thing they'll want is a trip to White Hart Lane. Spurs as we know can rotate a fair bit with the excellent squad they have and with home advantage I can easily see this being a rout. With Erikson, La Mela, Capoue, Sigurdsson etc etc looking to establish themselves as "absolute starters" in this team, a 4 or 5-0 wouldn't suprise at all.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Agree with this :ok Spurs won't play a full first team but AVB is always a good supporter of the competition and it won't be a poor team by any stretch..expect Kaboul to come into the defence, Dembele and Holtby to fill the defensive two in a 4-2-3-1 formation with probably Lamela, Eriksen and Chadli in front of them and Defoe up front. No exaggeration to say they have better options in midfield than every other Premiership team other than probably Chelsea and Man City. Bale going has allowed them to build a very strong squad and I'm virtually certain he will want to get Europa Qualification sorted as soon as possible then rotate some more. Obviously don't know much about Tromso! They have pretty much full squad available from what I can gather other than first choice defender Hils Norbye who got injured in the weekend win over Rosenborg, looking at their results virtually all their points have come at home their away record is horrendous losing 11 of their last 12 away in all comps.. Stan James have the best odds with 1.53 available for the -1EH (if you are 1 of the lucky 7 people who can get on more than a fiver with them) Ladbrokes have the next best odds with 1.45 for that then a clutch at 1.4. I am going for 10 Points on both the -2.0AH at 1.66 with betinternet and -2.5AH at 2.1 with the same guys, together with a small stake on a fanciful -3EH at 3.6 with betfred.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September As a Spurs fan I agree with the above. Tromso play on an artificial pitch a very long way from anywhere which may explain the difference between home and away record. Traditionally they're one of the stronger Norwegian sides but that's very much not the case at the moment. I normally stay away from this competition and Spurs tend to lose when you least expect it, but even so I can only see an easy victory here, as said AVB likes this competition, the sides he picked in the last round were strong especially in the away game before the tie was settled.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Some additional info..

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon misses Thursday's Europa League game against Tromso because of a foot injury. Nacer Chadli (adductor) is out, as is fellow midfielder Etienne Capoue, who has an ankle problem. Defender Vlad Chiriches is still to receive a work permit following his transfer from Steaua Bucharest and striker Emmanuel Adebayor is training with the development squad, so he will not feature. Provisional squad: Friedel, Lloris, Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Naughton, Dawson, Fryers, Rose, Paulinho, Holtby, Townsend, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Eriksen, Sandro, Lamela, Soldado, Defoe, Dawkins
Would now expect Townsend or Sigurdsson to play instead of Chadli. AVB said in his press conference..
“There won’t be dramatic changes to what we did with the Premier League XI that played in the game before, but subtle changes through opportunity and motivation.”

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Any Serie A fan/expert over here? What's wrong with Lazio - Legia odds? LOL. I'm from Poland and I must admit, that this team is totally TRASHY right now. Their defense is very, very bad! Loosing 2-3 goals with average teams in the league during last weeks. Team Total over 1.5 is actually at 1.61 How the hell Lazio isn't supposed to do it? I can see them winning by 2-3 goals even with reserves. There's a different squad or something? Do they underestimate Europa League? Weird stuff.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September @trayman, ilovsyd How about AH -1,5 Lazio? @mdd I think Elfsborg have very good defence. I've only seen they Europe appearances. Games vs Latvian side Daugava shouldn't be counted. Against Celtic they managed to concede just 1 goal in two games. And same with Nordsjælland. So with such defence I rather fancy under 1,5 goals with bwin at 2,35. But I doubt that I will place this bet since I do believe in Austrians attacking skills. @Simeon Thanks will try that. Can I perhaps follow Your domestic picks somewhere?

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September

Hello to everyone as Im new here. Anyone with Tel Aviv-APOEL info!??? Seems like the game is going strongly in Tel Avivs favour
Maccabi is one class above APOEL right now. They invest money every year and they look strong. APOEL have many problems in and out of the field. There is rumors that their coach is with one leg out of the club. Their defense looks bad and they don't play the best football right now. Quality here is on Maccabi side plus APOEL have some problems, it should be home win

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Trabzonspor are going to Cyprus to win the game according to there coach. They also posses alot of talent with the likes of Florient Malouda, Jose Bosingwa, Didier Zakora, and a striker who has hit some real form by the name of Paulo Henrique. Anybody know the situation with Limmasol? are they keen to win this game?? If there not doing too well i can see this being a Banker for Trabzonspor @ 2.30 with Bet365

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Well Lazio plays with Roma on sunday so not sure what team will start tonight. For me Spurs with -1.5 or -2.5 and I love playing EL on Ukranian team as they allways play this competition with strongest team so I think that x2 on Dnipro should be safe.

It is good to remind that PSV has very important game on Sunday - the big derby with Ajax. They will surely keep an eye with it. Otherwise, I agree with your analysis and I would have gone confidently with handicap bet if it wasn't for the game with Ajax. Now, I personally recommend live betting and over 2.5. Price of 1.60 is not that good, but a live-bet will give you overview of PSV's attitude and tempo, and within 10 minutes I guess that the Over 2.5 will reach satisfactory levels of 1.75-1.80. Ludogorets are more than capable of scoring and I believe they will do.

Just checked the odds with our local Bulgarian bookmaker and your bet is at 1,75 ( - 1EH ). No idea where you got that 2,30 from, no matter how early you placed your bet - such a huge drop is not common with eurofootball.bg. PSV might as well destroy Ludogorets, and fact is this season I have seen more of PSV than all Bulgarian teams put together ( simply not bothered with our League, corrupt as ever ). What I have seen though from PSV on a couple of games is 2 central defenders who looked like they meet for the first time. True, the team plays fast ball as always, they will have a huge advantage in the air, which will make every set piece a danger. Still, close marking and a good zone defending with 10 men might upset the good flow of PSV. I see no value at 1,75 for this bet, a win is a win and PSV will not be upset if they win 1-0 or 2-1. If forced to bet I would go for MORE GOALS in the Second Half - the Dutch are by far better prepared physically and this should show later in the game...

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September

It is good to remind that PSV has very important game on Sunday - the big derby with Ajax. They will surely keep an eye with it. Otherwise' date=' I agree with your analysis and I would have gone confidently with handicap bet if it wasn't for the game with Ajax. Now, I personally recommend live betting and over 2.5. Price of 1.60 is not that good, but a live-bet will give you overview of PSV's attitude and tempo, and within 10 minutes I guess that the Over 2.5 will reach satisfactory levels of 1.75-1.80. Ludogorets are more than capable of scoring and I believe they will do.[/quote'] Agree, it makes more sense to me. I would go even frther than that and wait until half time for 2 or more goals in the second half. And I also agree that the Bulgarians are capable of scoring - none of the top Dutch teams at the moment looks to me solid enough at the back...

At 2,30 you look fine and I would have had a piece of that too...Still I see better options in this game, and I also see better picks elsewhere...

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September im on rijeka +0,75 @1,92 canbet 4/10 i think this line is too high... i thought the line would be +0,25 this should fair. rijeka is a good team they won at home against stuttgart and made a last minute equalizer in the away game at the qualification. they dont came here to portugal to get fightless beaten. hometeam is a young team, nearly everyone is from portugal. this could be interesting match i think. but rijeka is never such an underdog as the bookie see them. gl everyone

Rijeka is missing a lot of players: Sharbini, Knežević, Pušić, Mitrović, Okechukwu, Jugović, Zlomislić, Datković, and Cesarec i Brezovec are doubtful. Dont know to much about Vitoria but with all this missing of Rijeka I dont think they will loose.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September PSV expected line-up: Zoet; Brenet, Bruma, Zanka, Willems; Schaars, Maher, Toivonen, Park, Matavz, Depay. Definitely over 2.5 is the way to go with such line-up. Zanka is a reserve central defender with little practice lately and he is very poor IMO (I just recall a few games from last season when he totally screwed his team with inadequate performance). I like that Toivonen will play in the position of attacking midfielder. He kind of lost his place in the starting eleven to the young guys, although he is one of the most established players in the team. He will be very motivated and will surely not be taking this game easy. Also Matavz doesn't start regularly and has a lot to prove. Both Toivonen and Matavz and physically strong and tall, and will offer good battle to the tall and powerful central defenders of Ludogorets. On the flanks, PSV loses some strength without Bakkali, but the full-backs are the weakest part in Ludo defense, so Park and Depay should do good job. As I said Zanka is poor and I expect Ludogorets' attackers to make use of him. I see this being a very open encounter. Ludo doesn't play defensively away from home - the only exception was the match with Partizan in Belgrade.

Yes,it is true that Ludogoretz doesn't play defensively but now we are at the Group stage and i don't know what strategy will Stoev choose.Don't forget that every points matters so maybe Ludo will sit back and wait hoping to find the net with counter-attacks

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September I´m taking Sheriff today. Can not think that Anzhi are motivated here in Euro League, when they fighting in their League against Relegation. Sheriff will be motivated enough and Anzhi with important Game in Russian League against Volga Novgorod at Weekend. So i think Sheriff will not Lossing today. Sheriff AHC +0.5 @ 1.59 5/10 Pinn Sheriff @ 3.20 1/10 bet365

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September Some nice and good information on the PSV game. Betting the -1 handicap on PSV is not the smartest bet, the game against Ajax is huge and will be played sunday afternoon. PSV and Ajax already lost many points in the start of the season and cannot allow another lose. Like already said Wijnaldum and Rekik are out, not sure how Cocu will replace them. Zanka could play because he wants the young guy Hendrickx to get some rest. And Zanka is not allowed to play against Ajax after his red card for jong PSV, and is banned for 3 matches. The situation with Toivonen is more complex because Cocu said he had three options, sign new contract, leave the club or play for jong PSV. Right now he is playing for PSV and didn't signed a new contract but Cocu is starting to USD him as a sub. Last week against Twente he came on but played a unmotivated 25 minutes and was not paying attention when castaignos scored the 2-1. The other option and i think is a better option is to play with hiljemark and maher as number 10. The PSV supporters are not coming to the Europa league matches and if there will be 12000 supporters it will be a lot, PSV is trying to get more supporters to the game with special promotions. For the line up and the betting we have to wait, Cocu can make more changes in front with Matavz playing terrible against Twente and bakkali getting stronger every week. If Zanka and bakkali will play i will take the bts. In addition if maher will play as number 10 maher to score odds 4 on unibet.

Re: UEFA Europa League - Thursday 19th September i took very small apollon limassol to win. i don't have any info about them, but trabzon traditionally sucks against cypriot teams. trabzon lost both games on the road in local league, so far, once was against besiktas and it was an expected loss, but they got outplayed by an akhisar team, which survived from relegation in last weeks of last season and which has the lowest budget overall, among 18 super league teams. they won both home games, but one was against newly promoted rize and the other was a mediocre team called karabuk. and none of those wins were convincing. apollon has some international players, couple of them are well known like c.meriem, or g.sangoy. trabzon probably has more quality on paper, but they didn't bring anything to pitch so far, this had always been a very intense match up, i expect them to struggle...
