Enjoy yourselves[/quote'] Just double check dtd website, think everyone in day 2 was only guaranteed £230 or £250 min cash, but obviously spinupable. One guy on Facebook has over 500k chips already as you can combine day 1 stacks apparantly so not sure how much your stack will effectively be worth or restart level? Worth double checking prior to travelling etc ;) Hope to catch up with you again soon even if you don't make Brum. :ok

Oh and just to let everyone know that I will probably be getting a taxi from new street station around 11:45 to 12:00 on Saturday as my back isn't too great, not sure it will be up to a 1.5 mile walk with my bag. If anyone else is arriving at a similar time and wants to jump in for a free lift down to the casino pm me for mobile number etc.

Unless its a mistake the site showed $600 as winnings at end of day 1 tournament. Only 20 qualified. Had around $120k which was 4th or 5th. They reset the blinds back down to 1500/3000 at start of day 2.

But with 2 more day 1's It will come down to $400 or the £250 Guarentee. Anyway can't complain. I was down to 500 chips with blinds at $3000/$6000 after a maniac shoved on my AK with Q4 and even though I hit trip K's, he hit a flush. So to recover and end up with $120k was great. Just want to run like that on Saturday

I hope everyone had a good time,i know i did. Good to see Laidbackbloke again, Neil,thanks for your efforts in trying to get me plastered,sorry you failed,also to Glenn who ganged with Neil,maybe next year guys. Great to see all the old faces again and a couple of new ones and of course a big thanks to Paul for laying it on onc again.

Well obviously I had a good day, earlier in the week I went into a mood and remember telling one of my friends if I am running this bad what is the point in travelling to Birmingham, don't think I can ever complain about that again after yesterday, never ran so hot and it took a hand on the final table with Renaan before I found out I couldn't win everything. First win live, first time playing Omaha and I think only about 5th time ever cashed in casino game. As for the seat think if it cannot be used online I may save it until Stockton event next year and play one of the side events they put on. Good game, good to finally put some faces to the online names and look forward to trying to defend it all again next year. Cheers Omaha Player

Blimey - where to start? :loon Me & Aidy rolled into the casino around 12.30, and a few hardcores were at the bar already, AA Hall, Bagheira, Teaulc, and newbie Senshi with a few others I can't remember right now. I make sure everything is all ready to rumble with our tourneys, get the trophies out and head to the bar. ;) :beer More people start pouring in for the Omaha, but there's always someone late and guess what? It was a woman - shocker eh Helen?:loon The Omaha starts with Me, Aidy & Stewart retiring to the bar, then to the seating area armed with laptops and our betfair window opened ready to get involved in some in running action on Soccer Saturday - oh, we demolished a foot long subway each in around 2 mins 23 secs just before this too. :ok One of our bets is coasting home, good start and then we have WBA taking the lead at Old Trafford, so we quickly lay them and think this is too easy when Man U quickly equalise, until of course WBA retake the lead and hold on. :puke:puke More beer, JD and a smirnoff ice for Avongirl who quickly exits the Omaha. :loon Now the main event is approaching and everyone is nicely oiled, but still no Jager Bombs in sight, perhaps still a little early for that. I'm put on a table with Junior and I think Steve O to the right? However, the player I wanted most on my table was a couple more spots down, Heniek! :loon He absolutely hates me being on the same table as all i ever do is cause multiple car crashes at any table I'm at. :lol Poor Heniek decided to get involved and I quickly relieve him of a fair portion of his stack, and then continue to raise and re-raise about 10 times the normal amount of any poker player and Heniek muttering "Oh FFS!". :rollin :rollin I decide as I have a few extra chips now that it was time to introduce the Jager Bombs, so I quickly ask each table if anyone wants one and I go up to the bar: "Can I have 30 Jager Bombs please?" "Pardon?" "30 Jager Bombs please mate" "errrrm, ok" Barman is laughing his arse off as are most of the bar staff and he then tells me that we've just broken the record for the most Jager Bombs ordered in 1 go. :loon Little does he know that he was to serve around another 170 in the whole night! :rollin :rollin I deliver the J-Bombs with a little help and quickly disappear. I re-appear with 4 blue bounty bars from Tesco across the road, lob 1 at Ooblio, Stewart & Andy Bell, who are now all £25 bountys - this wasn't planned, just thought I'd spice it up a bit. :lol Burnley Joe is ripping into Ooblio for ordering coffee all night and rightly so I might add - disgraceful behaviour Ooblio! :loon I'm doing alarmingly well considering I rarely last the first hour, and constantly giving Heniek plenty of jip at the table! :lol In the middle of all this, I've been massively fraped on facebook by Aidy stating "I love c*ck" and only find this out when the rest of the casino seems to know. :sad:sad Alas, I start to get bored and whilst nibbling on my bounty as I'm getting a bit peckish, I decide to put Rejmak all in with pretty much nothing in my hand and he calls and sends me packing! :loon Off to the bar, more and more J-Bombs.... Had a great laugh, probably enjoyed that poker night more than any other and I think Broadway Casino was a big player in that along with all the PL Poker Mob. I decided to retire around 3am I think it was after a good 14-15 hours drinking. :eek SteveO was absolutely battered and asleep in the casino. PR: Steve, what hotel you at? Steve: I'm not. I'll wait for the train. PR: What time is your train? Steve: I haven't booked one. :rollin PR: Oh ffs, come kip on the floor in my room then! Next thing I know SteveO is nicely wrapped up in my bed! :loon I tentatively join him (but only on top of the covers I might add), until his motorbike snoring starts, and I get a cab home and leave him to it. :lol Never heard snoring like that, awesome... Aidy banging the door in at 9am: Aidy: "Where's Paul?" SteveO: "Who?" Aidy: "Paul, this is his room" SteveO" Is it? Brilliant! :rollin :rollin I wait for Aidy to board his plane and then returned the frape favour as he'd forgotten he logged into my spare laptop at the house, job done. :ok Well done to all the cashers and Senshi and Renaan - hope you all enjoyed it and it was great to put faces to names once again - looking forward to the next one, and don't forget to get to the PL Raceday too, which always produces much more carnage than the Poker night, I kid you not. ;) :clap:clap

Can i just say that from 1pm, to 3.30am i had ONE coffee, which i was going to have in Frankie and Bennies, with Donna, Helen, and Duncan, but then decided on having Stella instead, realising that i could have the ONE cup of coffee for free at the Casino, and Still liking the taste of Strong lager, rather than the wimpy 3.8% volume of John Smiths :lol I needed my caffeine injection :loon so later on, i had my jaeger bombs, with more caffeine, and even nicked Donna's too :lol Sorry Pet :$ It was probably the best event to date, and BIG THANKS go out to Paul, and all the great PL guys, and Girls :clap:clap Thoroughly enjoyed my intelligent long chats with Bart too :notworthy as it is hard to find someone as clever as i am :p
