Re: Ligue 1 - 25-26 February Valenciennes v Lorient You have to go back to early December to find a game where Lorient didn't score away from home. You have to go back even further to find a game where Valenciennes didn't score at home. So both teams to score at William Hill @ 2.1 looks fair value. I've plumped for over 2.5 goals, also at William Hill, still available @ 2.5.

Re: Ligue 1 - 25-26 February AJA - ASSE AW at 2,6 I don't understant why the odds is so high for a team in great form and feeling like Les Verts. 4-0 against Rennes (2nd team away from home), 4-2 agaisnt Lorient whith 2 goals in last 5'. Now they are in 4th position and may think about the podium even if they say not. The really boost for them is to be before Lyon, the big ennemy and it's more important for them. On the other and, AJA is sticked on relegation zone, coach Fournier doesn't find the key and his team is paralysed like the last match proved it : 1-1 at home agaisnt Lorient, first goal for AJA at 18' and a red card for Lorient at 20'. AJA stopped to play and try to keap this advantage and so conceded a goal at the 92'. Other example, 1-2 away at Caen. AJA opened the score but took 2 goals in less than 10' at 70' and 77'. For me this is the gift of the week-end and you also can try the handicap for ASSE, odds at 5,6 Evian vs Nancy HW at 2,1 Nancy is paralysed also, contrary to Evian which also try to play an attacking football. I bet on the attack and also on Pablo Correa, Nancy's coach for 9 years and now at Evian...!

Re: Ligue 1 - 25-26 February Valenciennes vs Lorient = 1 (2.00) bet365 stake 6/10 Valenciennes position 10° points 27 Lorient position 12° points 27 Preview: Valenciennes: Injured: Djuric (midfielder 2/0), Lala (defender 2/0), Leca (goalkeeper 0/0), Mfuyi (defender 0/0). Lorient: Injured: Aliadiere (striker 10/2), Sunu (striker 15/1), S.Diarra (midfielder 0/0), Doukouré (midfielder 0/0), Bourillon (Defender 12/0), Oak (striker 3/1 ), Baca (defender 15/0), Lautoa (defender 1/0), Jouffre (midfielder 20/3), Coutadeur (midfielder 20/2). Valenciennes has a score in the house w6-d3-l2 goals scored 15 goals against 6 while the Lorient has a score out of the house w1-d4-l7 goals scored 11 goals against 24. The Valenciennes plays well within the walls while the Lorient friends away from home has many difficulties. Lightweight head of the home team, the sign can be seen the number 1 is absent in the visiting team. Quote of the sign of 1 decline in many books :hope

Re: Ligue 1 - 25-26 February Apologies for not posting yesterday - time got away from me - but will give a bit of insight into today's games. I don't think the three matches on offer will be as good as Lyon v PSG last night, but Lille's trip to Rennes does have a certain allure about it. I feel the bookies have this one just about priced correctly with Rennes the slight favourites. They have only lost once at home all season, while Lille have only lost once away from home. Both have a propensity to draw (Rennes five times at home, Lille five times away) and that looks a dangerously likely outcome here. I've not been impressed by Rennes recently but they will bring Romain Danze back into the defence for the young Dmitri Foulqiuer, which will shore them up. Lille have goals in them - in fact both teams do - but they also look shaky at the back. Mickael Landreau kept them in it at Lorient and Sochaux last week but he will concede eventually, especially with Mirko Basa injured, their best defender. Rennes were thumped 4-0 last week at Saint-Etienne and one has to expect a reaction. I'd be more likely to back the hosts but it's a match best watched for many reasons. One match I will get involved in is the tie between Toulouse and Sochaux. I have to fancy the hosts here. They were strong in defeating Nancy 3-0 last week and with a formidable home record of W7 D3 L2, they ought to be too strong for les doubs. Alain Casanova has a full-strength squad to pick from and they have a good armoury in Augustin Regattin, Emmanuel Riviere, Frank Tabanou and Paulo Machado to break Sochaux down. They are strong in defence, with Aymen Abdennour, Cheikh M'Bengue and Damian Congre normally pretty impervious at home against weaker teams. I'd class Sochaux in that bracket for sure. They are again without key defender Jeremie Brechet and his replacement, Simon Mouyokolo, is injured as well, meaning that Mathieu Peybernes will play alongside Damian Perquis. Peybernes is much better in midfield and with a number of players out injured, there seems to be a certain element of square pegs in round holes right now for Mecha Bazdarevic's side. Mobido Maiga, so good last season but out-of-sorts in this one, returns, but with the Malian striker looking for a move, who knows what sort of attitude he'll bring to the table. Marvin Martin has been subdued for weeks, while the defensive midfield duo of Yaya Banana and Vincent Noguiera have been sloppy recently, in particular Banana, who has the technical nous of a goose. I just can't see Sochaux picking up points right now, especially with a weakened side against Toulouse. It's also worth noting that FSM played in midweek, and with such a small number of players available, there could be an element of fatigue. Marseille were also on my radar against Brest at the Stade Francis Le Ble, but the price has come in to an unbackable figure. OM are riding the crest of a wave right now after defeating Inter Milan in midweek. That comes on the back of a good run of league results, and they are on the cusp of challenging for the Champions League spots. I fancy them to beat Brest but les finistriens have only lost one match at home all season, and with that in mind, I'd want the -0.25 line a lot higher than 1.77. Brest's keeper, Steve Elana, is in fine form, and they are a tough nut to crack on home soil. They are toothless though, with Nolan Roux now at Lille and Jonathan Ayite injured. Eden Ben Basat hasn't impressed this year and he will be relied upon to score. It's a question of whether OM can be patient and break down Alex Dupont's side. I suspect they will but there's not enough juice there to take them. Bonne chance if you play today :ok Atko's selections - Toulouse -0.75AH @ 2.02
