four-leaf reacted to Torque in Scottish Open (plus QF)
That's classic gambler's fallacy. The idea that winning streak has to end and a losing streak has to end. Of course these streaks do end eventually. but it's better to consider the merits of each match rather than get caught up in how a streak can't carry on.

Yes, totally agree on Sonego is the favourite because he is the defending this championship but Giron is in much better form. Giron is also looking forward to a strong end of the season performance - like last year - whereas I think Sonego is looking into next season.

Marcos Giron to beat Lorenzo Sonego at 1.91 with Bet365
Looking at Sonego's recent record, it seems to me that this price is based on his name and reputation only. He's been very poor in recent months, while Giron, with his hard-working attitude, has achieved many good wins, including over guys like Ruud, FAA, and Lajovic. Of course, the conditions should be to Sonego's favour, but that factor alone shouldn't be enough for Sonego to be the favourite.

He may win and if you're betting on him then I hope he does - it's just for me he's not worth it. In fact, if the money is coming in for Dimitrov like you say then I'm tempted to back Djokovic in the handicap markets. The unknown factor is how healthy he is, but on the basis he usually finds a way through whatever ailments he has I still think he'll win. There's a reason Djokovic is a serial winner and Dimitrov hasn't won in six years.

They are just copying what Swansea did decades ago tho, if you want to follow the real Welsh OG's. Give Cardiff a wide berth tho. They don't shower very often.

I think I've found myself my new favorite team. Wrexham United FC, smooth game, Welsh and attractive prices when they play. Good team to back

I completely agree, this is one of those situations where you back the underdog with confidence

Guys, for tomorrow I really believe that Grigor can upset Novak at @4.00.
This week the gods are with Grisho and his form and calmness on the court in the last couple of months is something that he was not able to stay consistent with. Grigor is on the wave right now going through such a heavy draw beating Medvedev, Bublik, Hurkacz and Tsitsipas. Rublev played on insane level and couldn't beat the Joker but Djoko is hurt. There hasn't been a tournament in the near past that Novak loses a set every match of the tournament. Obvliously it's a risky bet but I see it as the time that Grigor wins his second match against him. For a safety bet I see Grigor winning a set at around @2.00.

I've been active here for years but anyway I'm a guy born 1983 who lives in Stockholm, Sweden. Been sportsbetting since I was 23 years old, at first tennis and icehockey and tennis since 14 years back and snooker since about 7 years back. Do some betting still on football and icehockey but not regularly. My most prefered sports are tennis and snooker.

Agree with you that the odds are too high. Also agree that Osta has a higher chance to win than the odd suggest. Zheng's low odd is because she is the local favourite and she will be the only local in the SF if Samsonova beat Kudermetova today.
As for Samsonova low odd, imho it is an indication of her chance to win this match. Kudermetova is already out of the SF (single) but she is in the Final for the double so she may not go all out for today's match and save it for her doubles final. So I find it more logical to bet on Samsonova to win it by straight sets or with a game handicap of -3.5.

I’m tempted with both Walden and Gilbert tomorrow but just the one for me and it’s Sijun to keep it going against Wakelin.
don’t think wakelin has played that great and he’s just come up against poor performances. Sijun has been one of the best players this week for sure and should win this with a few to spare if you ask me
2.75pts Sijun to beat Wakelin 10/11 Bet365

easy win for Saengkham but Perry currently playing how I expected him to play in the last round lol. Very frustrating that he's gone back to being rubbish.
Ah. Perry still wins anyway. 2 out of 3 today. Expected more from Haotian but hopefully, Gilbert will keep that form when he has to play Hawkins in the not-too-distant future.

Lin Zhu (+1.5 sets) to beat Ludmilla Samsonova at 2.04 with Unibet
Despite Zhu having some minor medical issues against Kudermetova, I like the odds for her getting at least a set against Samsonova, who's yet to begin her Elite Trophy campaign. She was playing incredibly determined tennis against Kudermetova, and it really feels like she's the home underdog that will get some upsets, perhaps even several after the first one. She's improved massively this year, and it's never easy to say which Samsonova will turn up.

Sure I could acctually guarantee that Shelton would win in Tokyo final 2023 at 3.10. I would call it a spot on bet which was way to high priced.

Well then don't recommend people betting on it then. It's a pretty big difference between me posting Ben Shelton winning in 2 sets last sunday at 3.10 and you posting Donna or Daria to win today because I could quarantee Shelton winning in 2.
