We've got plenty of action this week, including Wimbledon qualifiers, and one thing that I'd probably want to point out is that there are no points for the Grand Slam due to the exclusion of Russians/Belarussians. That means that perhaps the motivation factor of players wanting to focus on the Wimbledon will be slightly different this season than previously. Now, there's obviously way more money in the Grand Slam than in these minor tournaments this week, but it's something to keep in mind.
Marta Kostyuk to beat Barbora Krejcikova at 2.25 with Unibet
Krejcikova has played just a single match since February, and she was utterly without fitness in the French Open, so I think it's not too fair to have Kostyuk as the underdog here, especially since she was crushing it nicely yesterday.

Ethan Quinn the 18 year old american just won ITF San Diego final in 3 sets. He's an interesting prospect and he's sure gonna be ranked higher than 851.
He also won the junior title of J1 San Diego 2021 and in january 2022 his junior ranking was peaking at 14.

Filip Krajinovic to beat (+3.5 games) Matteo Berrettini at 2.38 with
I think this could be a good proposition. Enough has been said about it and it's time for Matteo to have it tough.
Ons Jabeur to beat Belinda Bencic at 1.60 with
Trust me @money44Ons is on a mission this week.

Highly likely to be a close match. +3.5 Krajinovic for me.

I liked Zizou yesterday but Seppi was a disaster. Seppi will come short here, mark my words.

I like this one but I'm on Gauff in a big acca I placed this morningwith a low stake. Might change my mind but I can't cash-out so will take Pliskova as a single.

WTA Berlin: Pliskova to beat Gauff @2.6 with Betfair
Pliskova not been in great form but has been serving well this week. Might be time for her to get in form just before Wimbledon. I will have a go at this price, I think it's slightly too high. Gauff has been on a great run, but has had two easy matches on grass where she was strong fave. This will be a bit trickier for her.

Watched some of the tennis today and I thought Berretini was pretty unimpressive aside from when his serve was clicking. Kudla probably should have beaten him in two but couldn't take his break points in the second set. On this evidence I wouldn't be expecting Berretini to go deep at Wimbledon. Way too many unforced errors too.
Querrey was very disappointing I thought, he just doesn't seem to have much of a tennis brain, service aside his all round game was markedly inferior to Krajinovic, who played some good stuff, but was helped by Querrey's ineptitude. Still though the Serb played with confidence and I'd expect him to overcome the young Brit Peniston in the next match.

Shuai Zhang to beat Elena Gabriela Ruse at 1.75 with Noaccountbet
Zhang has been decent ever since the later part of last season acctually. Even won US open in doubles. She also has beaten Ruse when Ruse were half the player she is now on clay in Prag 2018 in a straight sets affair and I feel she's pretty decent now and good enough to beat Ruse again who isn't any worldbeater on grass.

Oh that's a bit being wrongfooted if you want to bet since both players are prone to errors and lapses in concentration so that's a match I wouldn't have my money at and imo Jelena is the better player on grass of those two.

Sara Errani to beat Lucrezia Stefanini at 1.61 with Pinnacle
Well, I certainly wasn't expecting to be betting on Errani on grass, but the Gaiba conditions are so specific with their incredibly low bounce that I have to back the more experienced player in this one. She beat another tricky and experienced player in Brengle in the previous round, so she should be primed for a match-up like this, against a younger Italian player that defeated Diatchenko, who I certainly wouldn't fancy to navigate such conditions, in round one.

You were a bit unlucky. Botic served incredibly well. Dimitrov might have won if it wasn't for that and then the handicap would have had a chance.

Jackpot on Medjedovic as usual, the serb is going forward faster and faster. I reccon he'll be established as top challenger player in less than 2 seasons forward.

A 2 day event this weekend (Fri/Sat) 16 players in this event. 8 coming from the PDC and 8 players from North America.
This is the 4th installment of this event and the winners have been MVG, Gary Anderson and Nathan Aspinall. No North American has made the final, or semi-final in all 3 editions. Infact, not one got through to round 2 last year. When I say last year, it was actually 2019 (covid)
This edition we have the following players :
    PDC - Wright / M.Smith / Price / MVG / Sherrock / Wade / Clayton / Anderson
    N.America - J.Smith / Baggish / Campbell / Van Dongen / Cameron / Gates / Boehm / Lauby Jr
You would have to say that the line-up for US/Canada is the strongest that they've offered over the 3 editions with players like Jeff Smith and Campbell winning smaller events and giving good accounts at the european events.
After crashing out of the Premier League and with average performances recently, you'd think Price would come here with something to prove. However, you have him coming out saying he's "burnt out" and then you have MVG talking about potential surgery for an arm and Wright being very inconsistent and it paves the way for yet more "hard to predict" darts and potentially a big price winner.
I would say that Michael Smith is probably the most consistent of those lot right now. It won't stay like that, ofcourse, but right now, at 11/2 he is worth another bet. He made the final of this in 2019, last time out and although he faces a difficult task in Peter Wright, I would hope that he brings confidence into this event. I'll also throw a point at Fallon Sherrock. We really don't know what we're going to get with her after all this time but 70/1 is a big price when we look at the inconsistencies of the other players.
When we look at US/Canada there is probably 2 that have a chance of potentially going "deep" and when I say that, i mean semi-final at best because these are more cover bets. I could be wrong but it's more than just quality of a darts player. You need to win when you SHOULD win and that's not always easy for these inexperienced winners.
it's probably not an event to bet a great amount on and more for watching.  Good luck

Yes, lots of potential. Plays aggressive, can take the ball early and is Russian like you say. Long way to go but in a couple of years it might be very interesting to see her start to hit some qualies and lower ranked tournaments.

Trains at Patrick Mouratouglou tennis academy, a winning machine as a junior, just turned 13, russian I think. Showing lots of determination when playing, trains hard to be a future multiple grand slam winner.
We'll probably see her in a few years playing on a high level...

I also agree with Neilovan and CzechPunter that Nadal is likely to win this year's final and break his own record to become a 22-GS title winner and 14 RG champion in 14/14 finals.  I am not betting because of the low odds as due to Nadal's age and health problem, I have no confident that Nadal will win in 3 sets.  Nadal is not at his best condition and I reckon at about 70% and his doctor is with him 24/7 throughout the tournament.  But of course he is determined to play his best and I think even at about 70% health, he is good enough to beat Ruud who is at this big stage for the first time.
At an interview ahead of the final, Nadal said:
"I would prefer to lose Sunday's final and get a new foot. I would be happy with my life with a new foot. A win is beautiful, but life is much more important than any title. Especially after the career that I had".
Therefore I think this is the last chance for Nadal to win his 22nd GS title.

2 youngsters vying for the RG WTA title.  Swiatek and Gauff added age is still less than Serena Williams!  Can Coco win a RG title in this edition?  Yes but she has more chance to win the double partnering Pegula vs the French pair of Garcia/Mladenovic.  Unless Swiatek cannot hold her nerves and choke during the final match which is unlikely to happen at this stage, she should be able to go on and win the title in 2 sets.

Doubt Kasatkina has any chance against Swiatek who can exploit her service game.  I reckon Kasat will be broken (at least) 3 games in the first 2 sets.  Unless she can break back - her weapon against others in RG earlier matches - the match might end up Under 18.5 (G).

Due to Kasatkina poor service games like I have said, Easy Win for Swiatek - 6-2, 6-1 (Total Games 15)
Like what Neilovan predicted too, it was embarrasing for Kasatkina.

A lot going on here, so my first post in a while.
Been watching a lot of the tennis, but is tough because the matches start East coast time (6am). My feeling is that Zverev didn't play a great match. Alcaraz gave it away.  He just started so badly, with so many unforced, stupid mistakes. Had about 7 after 2 games.
I think the Swiatek v Kasatkina match is just one way traffic. Kasatkina just can't hurt anyone on the court. Steady, not making mistakes, high looping shots, probably plays right into Swiatek's game. Her serve is a liability ... Kudermetova actually ate it for breakfast, but has a nothing serve herself (on clay).  Cannot see beyond a straight sets victory for Swiatek, in what should be a 1 sided spanking. Probably 2 and 2 or 2 and 3. If Kasatkina suffers some nerves, and Swiatek gets the momentum this one could be embarrassing.
Trevisian has a decent chance against Gauff. Has to pressure the Gauff forehand and hope she has a slight nerves/off day. I have a strange feeling someone runs away with the 1st set here and then it gets tight and close.
I can't access my betting account so no bets for a week,
