  1. Siniakova (vs. Bouzkova) + Tsitsipas 3-0 (vs. Chardy) at 1.87 with bet365

I add this one. Siniakova is 5-3 on clay this year. She will face her 1st match here confidently after beating Tauson (6-1, 6-3), Serena (7-6, 6-2) and Caroline Garcia (7-5, 6-1) in Parma. She has reached at least the third round in every single edition she has played since 2018. In 2018 she beat Azarenka and Kozlova. In 2019 she beat Rybakina, Sakkari and Naomi Osaka. In 2020 she beat Davis and Pavlyuchenkova. Bouzkova is 1-3 on clay this year. This is not her best surface and she has never reached a 2nd round here.
Tsitsipas is 16-3 on clay this year and he only has dropped sets against Nadal, Ruud, Djokovic and Musetti. It's very important to win these first matches as quick as possible and I don't see Chardy taking a set from him.

  2. Badosa (vs. Davis) + Sakkari (vs. Zavatska) + Mertens (vs. Sanders) + Fucsovics (vs. Simon) + Sinner (vs. Herbert) + Nishioka (vs. Tsonga) at 2.32 with bet365

Badosa is 13-2 on clay this year and she has beat big players as Bencic, Barty, Krejcikova, Teichmann or Sevastova. Davis is 3-3 and she has lost her last 2 matches (vs. Kovinic and Alexandrova). Both Sakkari and Mertens play against players who never have been inside the top 100 so I can't imagine them losing. Fucsovics is only 2-4 on clay this year but he plays against a player who is not competitive anymore. Simon is 1-5 on clay this year and he's on a 5 losing streak (Sonego, Andujar, Herbert, Bedene and P.Martinez). Tsonga is 0-2 on clay this year. He has lost against Gerasimov (7-5, 6-1) and Paul (6-3, 6-3). He is miles away from his best form. Maybe he can compete during a couple sets but I can't imagine him winning a 5 set match right now. Nishioka's best surface is hard but he has competed really well on clay this year (7-6). He has beat Cuevas, Krajinovic, Humbert, Monfils and Musetti so a fatty Tsonga should not be a problem. Sinner is 7-5 on clay this year and he has beat some really good players as RBA, Rublev and Karatsev. Herbert is 4-5 on clay this year. This is not his best surface and he's not in his best form so I can't see him winning against Sinner.

  3. Tsitsipas to win the 4th quarter at 1.72 with bet365
Laaksonen to beat Hanfmann at 2.20 with bet365
Vesely vs Khachanov - Over 36.5 Games at 1.83 with bet365
Lepchenko (-2.5 Games) to beat Shuai Zhang at 1.83 with bet365

I think Tsitsipas has good draw. He will play Chardy in the 1st round and P.Martinez or Korda in the 2nd one. Isner is the most dangerous player he could face in the 3rd round. Raonic, Tiafoe or Busta in the 4th round. In the QFs he could face Dimitrov, Garin, Opelka or Medvedev. IMO, if Tsitsipas plays as he has done during this year he should beat all these players.
Laaksonen beat Van Assche, Varillas and JM Cerundolo in the qualification. I saw the last one and I really liked how Laaksonen played. IMO, both players have a similar level (their best ever ranking is exactly the same -93-) but Hanfmann's last results are not good. He retired from Munich due to a neck injury. After that, he won against Griekspoor but he lost against Menezes and Nakashima, both in straight sets. Laaksonen should be a slight favorite considering both players' last matches.
I think Khachanov shouldn't be with these odds against Vesely. He did not convince me at all this year and he was destroyed by Norrie in his last match (6-1, 6-1). The only time these players have played each other was here in 2020. It was in the 2nd round and Khachanov won, but it was a very tight match (6-1, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6).
Lepchenko has beat Rakhimova, Barthel and Friedsam in the qualification. I'm surprised with how much ease she beat Barthel (6-1, 7-5) and Friedsam (6-1, 6-3) in her last 2 matches. Shuai's best surface is hard, by far, and he has a 1-6 record on clay this year. The only player she has beat is Doi, who has a negative record on clay (51-57). She comes from a heavy defeat against Cirstea in Strasbourg (6-2, 6-1).

Kwiatkowski (+5.0 Games) to beat Francisco Cerundolo at 1.84 with Pinnacle

I think Fran shouldn't be with these odds. He reached the Final in the Concepcion Challenger and he also reached the Final in Buenos Aires, which is impressive, but it's also true that he suffered in all his matches there. After the Final he lost against Schwartzman (6-1, 6-2), his results have been poor. He lost in the first round in 3 consecutive tournaments (vs. Andrej Martin, Bagnis and Kovalik). He won a couple of matches in Belgrade (vs. Kovalik and Carballes) but lost against Popyrin in 3 sets. In his first match here he has won against Cid Subervi (6-2, 7-6). Kwiatkowski's results on clay this year (7-3) are not as impressive, for sure, but he has beat Lestienne easily in his first match here (6-2, 6-2). I think Kwiatkowski can have more chances than the odds suggest. Both players have a similar style of playing, they like to hit hard and play aggressive so I think we can have a tight match.

Well, Cerundolo wins 6-7, 6-4, 7-6. Kwiatkowski was leading 5-3 the third set and he even had 4 match points. These qualification matches are quite open, anybody can beat anybody.

6. Trungelliti to beat Baez at 5.20 with Unibet

I will try this one at low stakes. Baez is a very talented young player and his results this year are incredible (3 Challengers), but he's only 20 years old and Trungelliti has a lot of experience at these stages. He has won the qualification for the FO 3 times before while Baez has never played here. His results this year are not good but he has achieved some good wins. He beat Alcaraz in a Challenger played in Gran Canarias at similar odds and he also beat Coppejans. Baez is the favorite, for sure, but at these odds I will give Trungelliti a shot.

  7. Teichmann vs Blinkova - Over 19.5 Games at 1.91 with William Hill

Teichmann is a huge favorite for this match cause Blinkova hasn't played a single match since Miami. Besides, she's on a 4 losing streak, but she has covered this line in her last 3 matches. I really like Teichmann, she's a great player (especially on clay) and I think she can do well in the French Open if she has a good draw but she usually has up and downs on her matches. She has played 3 matches on clay this year and all of them have been 3 set matches. They only have played once before and it was in Rome in 2020. Blinkova beat Teichmann on that match in straight sets (6-3, 6-3). It will be hard to repeat that result cause she hasn't played in 2 months but I just can't ignore that match cause it was played just 1 year ago so I expect a long match, most likely won by Teichmann.

  8. Norrie to beat Thiem at 3.94 with Pinnacle
Norrie (+1.5 Sets) to beat Thiem at 2.00 with Pinnacle

Norrie never did well on clay but this year his results on this surface has been impressive (11-3). In Barcelona he reached the QFs after beating Caruso, Khachanov and Goffin. In Estoril he reached the Final after beating J.Sousa, Pedro Martinez, Garin and Cilic. In Rome he beat Cuevas, Cecchinato and Carballes. In his first match here he has beat Moutet in straight sets. Norrie has lost against Nadal, Ramos (in a 3 set match decided by a TB) and Fokina. Thiem has not convinced me at all. In Madrid he lost in straight sets against Zverev after beating De Minaur and Isner in 2 tough matches. Then, he lost in his second match in Rome against Sonego in a 3 set match after beating Fucsovics in another 3 set match. I saw the whole match and Fucsovics could have won that match in 2 sets. If he's playing here is cause he knows he's not ready for the FO so I expect Norrie to have some options here.

After what Pablo Cuevas surprisingly saw himself do to Opelka, there has to be a sense that the young Cazaux is walking into a death trap. Cuevas is a very good player when on song, and one does not need a soothsayer to tell you that Cuevas looks very game here. I thought the first part of your write-up was on point till you got distracted by giving Cazaux the vote borne of a feeling. Really?? lol. Cuevas to with match @1/2 is good value

Betting on Cuevas at 1.50 when he has lost everywhere?? LOL. The players he has beat on the qualy are incredibly weak and the fact that he has beat Opelka means nothing cause Opelka reached the SFs in Rome, he played 5 matches there and focusing now in this minor tournament would be a nonsense. I'm not saying Cazaux is gonna win this for sure but saying theres value on Cuevas at 1.50... LOL

  10. Cazaux to beat Pablo Cuevas at 2.83 with Pinnacle

Cuevas hasn't been playing well this year. In Munich he was destroyed by Ruud (6-3, 6-2) after beating Sandgren in a 3 set match. After that, he lost against Nishioka (6-4, 6-4) in Madrid and then he lost against Norrie (6-1, 6-3) in Rome. He has beat Jakub Paul, Giustino and Opelka in his 3 matches here. The match he won against Opelka did not impress me at all cause Opelka came here after reaching the SFs in Rome. Besides, Opelka lost the first set in a tight TB and then he lost easily the second one, which is understandable after his long run in Rome. What makes me think that he is gonna lose this match besides his poor form is the fact that he could have lost his first match here against another young promise, Jakub Paul (6-3, 4-6, 6-3). Cazaux has won his first match here against Mannarino (6-3, 6-7, 6-3). He beat Korda in straight sets in Madrid and then he lost in 2 tight sets against Popyrin (7-5, 7-6). I have seen Cuevas in some of his previous tournaments and I got the feeling that anybody can beat him, so why not a young promise who has beat 2 top 60 players in the last 2 weeks...?

  11. Di Giuseppe (+5.5 Games) to beat Qiang Wang at 1.74 with Pinnacle
Di Giuseppe to beat Qiang Wang at 4.1 with Pinnacle

I go against Wang again. Wang is in a bad shape right now (5-11). She has lost a lot of matches that she should have won. Besides, she has a very negative record on this surface (25-27). She has played 5 matches on clay this year and she only has won 2. She beat Gasanova in Istanbul in a 3 set match. After that, she has lost in straight sets against Konjuh, Muchova and Anisimova, which is totally understandable. In her first match here she has won in a 3 set match against Doi, who has a very negative record on this surface. Di Giuseppe is 30 years old and her best ranking ever is 149, but she's a pure clay court player with more than 500 matches played on this surface. She has beat Kawa, Bronzetti and Hibino here and she was priced at similar odds on all those matches.

    Cilic Vs Stricker

Cilic is not in any kind of real form but classwise should be able to beat Stricker easily which really should be the default reasoning here - that is if you are too blind to notice the other hidden factors.. Cilic 4/3 on clay this year and Stricker 0/1. The question is who is this Stricker? Do not expect me to have an answer for you as I have only seen as much as you have probably seen about him. However there are some very import things that stand out about this match that I just cannot overlook. Stricker is only 18 and has a very impressive hard court record under him. He has only played the one match on clay yet the tournament organizers have deemed it fit to slot this match into the prime time slot. Most times they do this for reason. (Saving the best for last)This boy must have some real potential especially with the way the odds have moved in the last 2 days. Verdict: Stricker to win a set @ evens . Sprinkling a few euros on Stricker to win 3/1 is also strongly advised. Good luck!!!

I know him and I have seen him. The reason why the odds have moved it's pretty much simple. He won the FO boys edition the last year which means he has a lot of potential. On the other side we have Cilic, a player who has been a mess for the last 2 years. I was expecting these odds movements but I also think Cilic is gonna win this. He has played decently in Estoril and Rome. He beat Alcaraz in Estoril and Alcaraz is much better player than Stricker right now. Cilic is GS champion and he will play the best he can to avoid the shame of being beat by a 18 years old guy as he did when he played against Alcaraz. That being said, I wouldn't put my money on Cilic at those odds, that's for sure.

  13. It's not an excuse. Schwartzman played horrible and the fact that it rained did not help him at all. When it rains the balls get a lot heavier and that benefits big hitters. FAA is one of the players who hits bigger from the whole circuit while Schartzman lacks in power. I repeat, Schwartzman played horrible and the rain just made the things even worse. It doesn't matter how many reasons you can have to back a player cause at the end it only depends on them.

  14. Schwartzman to beat FAA at 1.57 with Pinnacle
Karatsev to beat Medvedev at 1.84 with Pinnacle
Goffin to beat Delbonis at 1.70 with Pinnacle

I know Schwartzman hasn't been playing well recently and I even backed Karatsev against him in Madrid but I expect him to do well here. The conditions here are much better for him. He reached the Final in 2020 and he even beat Nadal in straight sets. FAA has good results on clay but Schwartzman is better player on this surface. FAA has played a tough match against Krajinovic (6-3, 6-7, 6-4) in his first round here. I also take Karatsev cause Medvedev played worse than I expected in Madrid and the conditions here are worse for him so I don't expect him to do well here. Finally, I also take Goffin (vs Delbonis). I know Delbonis has been playing well recently but he has played too many matches. He has played 8 matches in the last 10 days and some of them have been really long matches. Goffin has won against Caruso in 2 sets in his only match played here and he will be more fresh than Delbonis.

  15. @CzechPunterHave you lost your mind? You delete my post warning about what this "professional bettor" has done in this forum since he joined and then you "like" a bet of him where he is fooling the people?

2 hours ago, Life Is Windy said:

I am picking this because conditions in Madrid are similar to conditions in Belgrade.

Do you think this is a reason to back Evans against Zverev...?

Enjoy this guy's predictions, if he has the same success he had in the soccer/basketball threads you will get a lot of profits following his bets.

  16. 2 hours ago, Life Is Windy said:

It's o.k. I just said something that guys should know. Madrid is nowhere close to any clay court. And in these few days since I said that almost every server went through.

    Today Isner, Sinner payed price...

    Cheers.

All the regular punters in this thread know very well the conditions of the Mutua Open. I never have seen you here before but I have seen in your profile that you bet mostly on soccer, basketball,... probably you have started to bet also on tennis recently (unless you spend all your whole days watching sports...) and you have read some article about the Mutua Open. I repeat, we all know the conditions of this tournament, we don't need you to tell us things that we already know (by the way, I have been there before more than one time). We also know that Medvedev tested positive in Montecarlo (a punter posted a notice about that if I'm not wrong). Anyways, nice to see you here commenting every single prediction. I'm eager to see your own predictions.

  17. Nishikori to beat Alexander Zverev at 2.62 with bet365

I will go against Zverev again. Zverev has won here before (2018) but he hasn't played well in his first two clay tournaments. He lost in his second match in Montecarlo against Goffin in 2 sets and then he lost in his second match in Munich against Ivashka. Nishikori beat Garin and took a set from Rafa in Barcelona. He has beat Kachanov in 3 sets in his first match here. I don't like to bet on Nishikori because of his physical problems but I think he's overpriced here.

  18. Who will go further: Karatsev vs Schwartzman - Karatsev at 1.72 with bet365

I add this one. They will meet in the second round if Karatsev wins against Humbert. I'm not impressed at all with how Diego has played recently. He won in Buenos Aires but the players he beat there were weak. After that he lost against Ruud in straight sets in in Montecarlo and then he wasted a 5-2 lead in the third set against Carreño in Barcelona. Karatsev already destroyed him in the AO and I'm sure he will be eager to take revenge on that but I just see Karatsev better than him.
