Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 2.55 Nottingham Blue Moon is a defenite lay for me today, didnt look an easy ride earlier in the week under Hanagan, young jockey takes the ride today and although she has ridden several winners she could struggle with this tricky customer, also concern that a quick turnaround wont do him any favours! Tilsworth Glenboy ran away with a soft ground handicap at yarmouth beating the useful at this level Harting Hill by 5 lengths, handicapper took a hars view putting him up 13lb, that was his first real bit of form he had showed then run awfully next time out, but bounced back last time at newmarket again on soft ground when finishing 2nd. Gets to run off the same mark today and Craine takes the ride again. 1pt win Tilsworth Glenboy 5/1 hils 3.30 Nottingham Gutted I missed the 25/1 about Blue Spinnaker but still at 12/1 looks value to me and he has often been used to land gambles so even more interesting! Has been kept fairly busy this year since winning on first day of the season, was then consistent afterwards which didnt do his mark any good, last 3 starts have been less inspiring on fast ground and aw but a return to soft ground is sure to suit and although 7lb higher than last win he has won off much higher marks in the past and useful Sullivan knows the horse and takes off a handy 3lb. 0.5pt e/w Blue Spinnaker 12/1 hills 4.35 Kempton Wide open handicap with many in with a great chance but I think Denton could be the one lurking around at a decent price. Yard have had a winner or 2 recently. He failed to beat a rival home when tried over 12f again and clearly doesnt stay that trip, drops back in trip and could get back to winning ways back on his favoured surface aswell 4 runs with 2 wins and a 3rd! 0.5pt e/w Denton 6/1 vc 3.40 Warwick Autumn Red ran a solid race on penultimate start when a 2nd by a neck to Dunkelly Castle, handicapper put him up 3lb and failed to do anything next time out after travelling well, handicapper quickly relieves him of that 3lb which makes him very interesting, yet to win a race which is a concern but appears here in form with ground conditions suit and a step up in trip is also an interesting move by connections. 1pt win Autumn Red 7/2 bet365 1.05 Chepstow Awesome Freddie is related to Awesome George who is a useful sort and rated 138 over jumps, and is suited by a longer trip than NHF that Freddie has been running in so this step up in trip for his hurdling debut looks a positive. Yard in much better form this time round and he could be a little more than some of these on softer ground conditions which should suit. 0.5pt e/w Awesome Freddie 9/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 7.35 Kempton Abriachan is Hanagans mount in this race and should hold a solid chance, he appears to be running into form improving with every run so far, last time out was 4th at wolves over extended mile dropped a 1lb since then, Kempton is better suited to front runners and drops back to 1 mile today, remains lightly raced and could be open to more improvement than some of the others. 0.25pt e/w Abriachan 12/1 vc 8.05 Kempton Hanagan again for me on a horse I tipped up at the weekend having showed signs of a return to form before and confirmed that at the weekend when a close 4th staying on over 6f, returns to 7f tonight and could have more to offer over such a trip, Hanagan rode him them and should know what he has got under him tonight, he remains on his last winning mark and cheekpieces retained. 0.5pt e/w Only A Game 7/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 1.20 Lingfield The Gask yard are just starting to hit form and always have a good record over the winter on the AW and they run the useful Street Power this afternoon. He had a mid summer break and came back at Ffos Las last time out in a messy race when slowly away and also got bumped a little way out and proved one pace afterwards, should have more to offer with that run under his belt and back on his favoured surface. 13 Runs on the AW with 6 wins and 2 2nds and one of those wins around here. Remains only 1lb higher than last winning mark due to a couple of quiet runs on turf but is also well drawn aswell today in stall 5. 0.5pt e/w Street Power 5/1 vc 1.55 Lingfield Gask yard could have a quick fire double here with the ever frustrating Anne Of Kiev, she is clearly a decent sort but often proves hard to win with with her exegerated hold up tactics coming late and fast but she really caught the eye last time out when staying on strongly far too late, steps back up to 6f tody which can only suit if staying out of trouble. She looked to have pounds ahead of the handicapper when winning at Windsor in the summer and if returning to anywhere near that form she could well take the beating and surprise surprise for the yard she has a good record on the AW with 2 wins and 5 placed efforts from 11 runs. 1pt win Anne of Kiev 11/4 vc 2.30 Lingfield Lujeanie looks a tad overpriced for a yard that couldnt be in better form right now and are another yard that have a good record with there horses on the AW. She has mainly struggled on turf since beating Deacon Blues at Newmarket. Last times effort was abmissmal she looked as if she didnt even want to be at the races, hopefully a return to the polytrack will bring something back out of her here returning on her last winning mark and is 1 from 2 around here and well drawn to just tuck behind a leader from stall 1. 0.25pt e/w Lujeanie 22/1 bet365 4.10 Lingfield I am surprised to see Hanagan's mount the price he is considering the Hanagan factor for one and the switch to professional jockey, he spends his life under the same jockey on the ameteur circuit past few years, but he beat the useful and in form yard stick Kenyan Cat last time out, 6lb penalty today but appeared to win with a little bit in hand. He can string good efforts together and is drawn in the middle so no bad thing for mid div horse. Has only been seen the once on the AW when finishing 2nd on only his second start in 2006 so clearly acts on it and should go well at what looks a generous price! 0.5pt e/w Hurricane Thomase 10/1pp

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 7.30 Kempton On a card that is rathe uninspiring Jackson could turn out to be the bet of the week. I am almost sure the yard have been fiddling with hi, he is absolutely thrown in on his old form Grade 2 winner in brazil and a modest handicapper in Dubai. Handicapper given him a real chance last seen racing off a mark of 68 in Sept on turf, rated 60 on turf now and a further 10lb lower on AW so has been given lumps of weight and he acts on artificial surfaces and blinkers fitted for first time for this yard. Yard landed a gamble yesterday in these colours and be no surprise to see them do the same here with the money already coming in for him! Hanagan up and desperate for the winners! 2pt win Jackson 4/1 pp 8.00 Kempton Mme De Stael is an interesting runner, having bolted up very easily on penultimate start but was disappointing under a penalty 5 days later, perhaps found the race coming too soon as vets reported she finished distress. Finds herself 2lb higher today but could still be open to more after a lay off with a yard that do well with stepping them up in trip and using blinkers, yard clearly been patient with her and want to get some wins into her and if anywhere near her best she is massively overpriced at 8/1!! 0.5pt e/w Mme De Stael 8/1 corals

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) Wil try and update prices in morning if get time OOOO Love a day at Southwell :D! Gonna have a go at a few races since got a bit of spare time today :)! 1.00 Soutwell Suddenly Susan is Hanagans mount and could take the beating if repeating the level of form she showed last time out over CD in maiden company and makes handicap debut off a good enough mark, was soundly beated by the 78 rated Top Care that day but he is gonna be rated a lot higher and in turn Susan soundly beat Little Miss Take by 10 lengths who was rated only 3lb below! The Godolphin runner is likely to be short price fav, yard have a good record around here but this one concerns me as he appeared to not handle heavy going last time out which often isnt a good sign around here. 0.5pt win Suddenly Susan 1.30 Southwell This race could give Godolphin there winner for the day in Raw Spirit who showed plenty of promise on debut in a heavy ground maiden at yarmouth and sure to come on for the run and certainly bred to be something a little bit special and with form on heavy ground a positive for fibre sand debut. 0.5pt win Raw Spirit 2.00 Southwell Wheres Riley must hold a solid e/w chance back on the fibresand today, been a little disappointing on turf recently but was a revelation on the fibresand in the spring, and could still be open to further improvement if back on song. 5lb higher than last winning mark but useful Heslop takes back the ride claiming handy 5lb and also well drawn down the middle which proved a positive thing here last winter over the flying 5! 0.5pt e/w Wheres Riley 12/1 vc 2.30 Southwell Lucky Punt ought to be hard to beat, absolutely loves it round here drops back into claiming company after winning well off a mark of 84 round here 11 days ago, drops back a furlong no bad thing, and although second best in at the weigts on OR but Grande Caiman has rather a lot to prove having been disappointing in turf claimers. 1pt win Lucky Punt

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 6.40 Wolverhampton As much asI dont want Hughes to get another winner on the board I think he holds a very solid chance on Pipers Piping he is probably a little over priced simply for the hughes factor but he has been in ood form recently and wasnt knocked about last week from a poor position at lingfield, loves it around here winning 3 times. 1pt in Pipers Piping 3/1 coral 7.10 Wolverhampton Beetuna has been an eye catcher several times since returning from a succesful spell in France more so than ever when finishing 4th over this course at 9f and has been seen staying on very strongly at other times andshould be suited to this step up in trip. Hanagan takes the ride and this horse has perhaps been caught out by novicey waiting tactics and should go better tonight and new yard amongst the winners. 1pt win Beetuna 5/1 tote

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 2.00 Doncaster Justonefortheroad is Hanagans ride in this wide open handicap, he won last time out over 7f on g/s ground and had previously placed on soft ground so should be effective on forecasted slow ground and althogh 7lb higher today won going away last time infront of a decent field and could still be progressing for a reasonably lightly raced sort! 0.5pt e/w Justonefortheroad 10/1 vc 3.10 Doncaster So its come full circle and its the November Handicap again :( ! Was lucky enough to find the winner of this last year but struggled to find anything of real interest to be honest this time round. The Betchworth Kid will carry the bulk of my stake in this race, he was last seen finishing strongly in Heritage Handicap at Ascot a month ago on g/s ground and the more testing it gets the better for him, runs off the same mark and appears to be returning to form at late stage of the season and looks well handicapped on best form and useul Beschizza takes the ride and claims a very useful further 5lb. The other interesting runner at a price could be Pendragon who shaped very well in the Cambridgeshire when last seen off a career high mark runs off same mark today but again has a useful apprentice taking off handy 3lb putting him just 1lb above last winning mark and he has been hugely progressive throughout the season and has placed over this sort of trip in younger days and has shown form on soft ground and southwells fibresand so should handle conditions! 0.5pt e/w Betchworth Kid 12/1 vc 0.25pt e/w Pendragon 40/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) Will sort out results tomorrow got them all up until last night so should take too long now!! 3.20 Ffos Las Money order must have a solid chance, he won a reasonable handicap last december over this trip at chepstow on heavy ground, so will relish conditions the wetter the better. But followed up that win off 10 lb higher mark with 2 good placed efforts. Further 1lb higher today but useful Berry takes the ride and is able to claim 3lb. Has gone well fresh before. 0.5pt wint money order 11/2 bet365 3.30 Market Rasen Thai Vango is another I wouldnt wanna go head over heels about but must hold a good chance, appeared to win with a bit in hand last time out over fences around here on good ground. Was since a bit disappointing back over hurdles but if bouncing back from that over bigger obstacles could still be effective of his revised mark and has shown form on soft ground aswell. 0.5pt win Thai Vango 5/2 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 1.30 Wolverhampton So AW kicks off daily today and rather a piss poor opening event, Conry ran a good race last time out that was on soft ground on turf last week and his AW mark is 11lb lower, but has always lacked any serious threat of form on the AW even after running well on turf which is concerning. Just Timmy Marcus and Lord Of The Dance both often run well round here but struggle to win and also drop back in trip which I dont feel they need. Any money for the Irish raider would always look significant around here but 3lb out of handicap is a concern. I was hoping for a little bigger price about Kings Caprice but I think the old boy could still be the one to give a chance to at the prices, he stayed on well on penultimate start at 6f at windsor and stepped up on that effort when 6th by just 2 lengths again staying on strongly, runs off same mark today and is very dangerously handicapped on his best younger day form being rated as high as 104 in his prime!! The other interesting runner for me is another old boy Compton Micky who is out of the handicap by a massive 11lb out of the handicap BUT young apprentice claims 7lb of that back and he shaped VERY encouringingly on return from 4 years on the missing list when staying on 3rd at southwell over 6f, steps upto 7f today its a shame yard didnt wait for a southwell handicap opening but having said that he could still go well at a massive price! 0.5pt e/w Kings Caprice 15/2 hills 0.1pt e/w Compton Micky 40/1 pp 2.05 Wolverhampton Cut And Thrust has only raced here twice and has placed 3rd both times, he remains only 1lb higher above last winning mark and shaped well last time out after a break just shaping as if a run would bring him on, runs off same mark today. The other interesting runner is handicap debutant My name is bert who has been given a mark of 57 which looks reasonable based on the first 2 maiden runs although very disappointing last time but may still have more to offer only after 3 runs and clearly acts on the polytrack and drops back to 7f and back to wolves where he has shown his best form. 0.5pt win Cut and Thrust 5/1 pp 0.25pt e/w My name is bert 28/1 vc 3.10 Wolverhampton Gentleman is Back is plenty short enough as his form looks solid infront of 3 next time out winners BUT why has it taken a capable yard so long to turn him out again and just a slight concern flag officer has the ablity and scope to improve past Gentlemen and at the price no thankyou. Baileys Moneypenny looks the overpriced runner showed a good level of improvement on each start in maidens before running as if amiss on handicap debut at catterick on good ground and ground may have been a problem as her form had been on good to firm, if back on song she doesnt look badly handicapped and a return to a faster surface sure to suit! 0.25pt e/w Baileys Moneypenny 14/1 bet365 3.40 Wolverhampton Class 7 handicap!! Dontforgeturshovel is another runner that came back from a long absence of nearly 2 years when running a very promising race on heavy ground at yarmouth in a handicap over 5f, staying on close home so step back to 6f sure to suit and sure to strip fitter for the run, showed little form as a 2yr old so yard have clearly brought him on after the break and is clearly not as exposed as most of these modest and tempermental sorts and could run another good race! 0.5pt e/w Dontforgeturshovel 9/2 vc 4.15 Wolverhampton Treacle Tart showed some good form in bumpers and showed a good level of form since switched to flat and showed her heart was still in right place when 2nd a couple of weeks and sure to strip fitter after the run and this maiden has a shape of a little weak one and might not take too much winning. 1pt win Treacle Tart 7/4 vc 4.45 Wolverhampton Money for Spectait is interesting with this yard, he is well handicapped on best form but even so his latest runnings leave him a lot to find! And as for the rest of them they nearly all have questions to answer aswell the best of the lot has to be Veroon who never runs a bad race and was a good 2nd round here on penultimate start when 2nd by a neck off a 2lb lower mark, hasnt got head in front yet this year but certainly deserves too! 0.5pt win Veroon 5/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 1.30 Southwell Callie Angel has shown a clear love for tough conditions when showing some form on soft ground and some real solid form on heavy ground last time out, probably didnt beat much but hasnt got much to beat here neither and a mark of 61 is fair, step up in trip looks no problem and southwells fibre sand looks a good move with her love for a test. Yard in cracking form recently and could prove open to a little more in this modest bunch. 0.5pt win Callies Angel 2.00 Southwell Queen Of Cash dotted up at kempton last week and runs under a penalty today and surely gonna be a short price and might be worth looking for some each way value and that might just lie in Captain Loui, he failed to stay last time out over the extended mile at wolverhampton but prior to that had been running well off similar marks over 7f and drops back to 6f today should suit having previously won at 6f and has shown he can be affective around here having finished 2nd round here in maiden company. 0.5pt e/w captain loui 3.30 Southwell Mediterranean sea has atleats shown he is in form and can win races at the moment, he acts on southwells fibresand and is often best fresh and has since been given a small break since last run when 2nd at brighton prior to a decent 4th at yarmouth and a good 2nd round here over CD, admitly that form looks dodgy with 100/1 shot finshing so close but she is clearly a useful sort on fibresand and aginst some opposition that might not take much beating should be a good start to her AW campaign 1pt win Mediterranean sea 4.00 Southwell Bel Cantor looks over priced on his best form and has shown promise last 2 starts to suggest he could be returning to form, finding 7f too far especially in soft ground but still finished a satisfactory in 4th. Usually competes in much better races than this around here and now 17lb lower than last win around here and useufl apprentice takes off a further handy 7lb and is well drawn. The other interesting runner is Pilgrim Dancer who shaped well after a break at ewcastle last time out staying on for 3rd in desperate conditions, has shown likes ground with cut with a maiden win in ireland and a 6th in listed event as a 2yr old, since gone the wrong way and dropped in the weights but last time was an encouraging return in first time blinkers, visor tried this time and first time on fibresand but should cope with soft and heavy ground form to his name and could make his presence felt 0.25pt e/w bel cantor 16/1 bet365 0.25pt e/w pilgrim dancer 16/1 bet365 5.20 Kempton Really like the look of Sirius Prospect for the Ivory yard who are going great guns at the moment. Yard have a good record around here 31 wins from 275 runs and are operating on a LSP of +38 narrowing that down to this year they have had 9 winners from 77 with a LSP of +50 the only worry is his 2yr olds never do much around here. But is well drawn for aw debut and showed lots of promise in 2 big field competitive maidens racing up front which suits Kempton well and on that level of form should be hard to beat! 1pt win Sirius Prospect 6.20 Kempton Tower looks to hold a solid chance based on his recent efforts, he is a rare winner for the yard and appeared to win going away on penultimate start, and followed up after that off revised mark with a 3rd running on late in closing stages, should appreciate the step back up to 2mile today and as much as it pains me to say it Spencer looks an eye catching booking for this yard. 1pt win Tower 7.20 Kempton Dream Number hasnt showed much form on the AW and therefore his mark is 7lb lower on the AW, showed some promise last time over an inadequate 5f last time at wolves when nearest finish and 1lb lower in handicap today and if building on that effort sure to be in the mix. Callan looks a good booking for a yard with a decent record around here. 0.5pt e/w Dream Number

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 12.50 Southwell Handicap that lacks much depth in recent form or even course form, Arbiter is an interesting runner from Ireland yard yet to have a runner at southwell but has had a winner at wolverhampton. He was a good 3rd in a big field handicap at the curragh on yielding ground off this mark on penultimate start so should appreciate fibresand and hopes rest on a switch of surface to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Navan last time out, drops back to 7f today and Catlin gets the legup and rides very well round here. 0.25pt e/w Arbiter 1.20 Southwell Norcroft looks to be a big prices currently on the exchanges probably because he is from an unfashionable yard but a yard that isnt afraid of big price winners! He was an eye catching 3rd or as eye catching as a 45 rated horse can be!! Racing fairly wide in the rear which is often a massive disadvantages around here, he came from a bad draw and stayed on, should appreciate this step up in trip again and also better drawn today. Has won on fibresand off a mark of 62 that was nearly 2 years ago now but so well handicapped could be dangerous to dismiss in this company off bottom weight! 0.5pt e/w Norcroft 2.50 Southwel Colorus is a horse that seems a good horse for apprentices to get on board and get to know and often strikes up good partnerships and appears to be doing that at the moment with this young apprentice finishing a very promising 3rd last week over CD when carrying 1lb overweight and also 3lb out of the handicap so effectively 4lb better off today drawn low again today and looks the one they all have to beat with the horses fantastic record around here aswell! 1pt win Colorus 5/1 bet365 5.20 Wolverhampton A fantastic looking handicap on paper and sure to provide a thriller and gonna bet a little different than I would normally might live to regret that later! My lay will be Valid Reason a horse that should appreciate the step up in trip but never looks too willing to go on sometimes and just shapes as if he is just held by the handicapper at the moment. Beggars Opera is my win bet, unlucky to bump into a well handicap but green horse of Johnstons last time out and rythm was upset plenty of times thanks to that horses wayward ways and should be able to gain compensation tonight off the same mark My other bet in this race is a place bet on betfair for Satwa Gold, appeared as tho amiss last time out not beatin a rival home on turf, prior to that won over a longer trip at kempton off just a 1lb lower mark, has a good record on the AW 5 wins and 5 placed efforts from 15 runs and could very easily bounce back on a feasible mark. 1pt win Beggars Opera 5/2 bet365 1pt Place bet Satwa Gold

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 12.55 Lingfield Good looking nursery and the unexposed and handicap debutant Tullius looks the one to beat! Showed nothing on debut but was off 3 months till october and clearly showed he appreciated the snip and clearly come on from some extra training, when out battling the second horse and finishing well clear of the 4th horse and rest of field and 3rd horse has gone on to run well since and opening mark could have been tougher on that evidence and is related to another useful 2yr on this surface Poster who was rated as high as 100 in 2008 (hasnt been seen since). 1pt win Tullius 2.40 Lingfield Nafura most have a good chance to get back on the scoreboard this season, been holding form fairly well all season since winning around wolverhampton twice last autumn, handicapper slow to give a respite but does drop her a 1lb for latest distant 3rd at newmarket when conditions were probably a little too testing over a trip she has failed to prove she actually stays effectively drops back in trip and return to polytrack sure to help. Will take the 3.3/1 on betfair avilable now looks good price 1pt win Nafura 3.3/1 betfair 3.15 Lingfield Fantasy Gladiator is becoming a layers best friend and personally cant see that changing, always finished placed and creeping back up the weights. Always looking a little reluctant to go on at times and has yet to really prove he can win at 7f let alone a mile therefore looks a good lay! Dear Maurice is an interesting running having comeback from a year on the sidelines and running well over an inadequate 6f last 2 starts both times finishing well, and yard quickly step him back upto a mile which he has won over twice and is actually 3lb below last winning mark and has shown enough that he can win on the AW! 0.5pt e/w Dear Maurice 5.20 Wolverhampton Only a Game was a shade disappointing last time out having shaped with promise the time before when 4th at lingfield, but perhaps found extra furlong to far and also race may have come too soon, he isnt the most consistent but if repeating that form he would have a shout in this at a price, running off last winning mark over CD in may and same jockey on board tonight taking off the handy 3lb. 0.25pt e/w Only a game 6.50 Wolverhampton Looks a good race and will come back to hopefully tomorrow night when I can bet with prices as several I am interested in! 1.50 Cheltenham Cue Card is sure to prove popular and the most likely to be the winner but as a better bet I can see Ballyadam Brook following him in behind in one of the places at a nice e/w price! He has progressed nicely throughout the summer and certainly wont lack fitness and has more than handled testing conditions before and not disgraced in a decent looking grade 3 hurdle at Tipperary recently when finishing 2 1/1lengths behind the winner who since went 2nd under a penalty in another grade 3 and also 3rd and most notably 6th have both gone on to run well since and could still be open to more improvement! 0.5pt e/w Ballyadam Brook 10/1 bet365 3.00 Cheltenham Always find these Cross Country races fascinating to watch and of the ever popular Grande Champetre is gonna be hard to beat under the ol Nina Carbery but Lacdoucal returned to form when tackling these fences for the first time last march and since then has run two good races including seasonal reappearance over fences round here and sure to have come on for the run and could be dangerous to dismiss off a 1lb lower mark than when last tackling these bad boys! 0.5pt e/w Lacdoucal 6/1 bet365

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 1.00 Lingfield Pipers Piping has been a revelation this autumn having been kept very busy but winnign 3 times since August and placing on another 4 times finishing out of the places only once when not given a great ride, but showed he remained in good form and capable of winning off much highers marks when given a fantastic ride under Hughes last time out, sure to go well again from a good draw and a 4lb rise could be lenient considering he was scoring going away last time. 0.5pt e/w Pipers Piping 2.00 Lingfield Decent looking handicap with several potential points but Durgan stands out for me, hasnt shown too much up until recently apart from a few bits and pieces on the AW but has recently shaped better with 2 3rds especially last time out over CD when staying on strongly in the finish and has dropped a long way in the weights since opening mark and is soo gonna take advantage of that, related to the useful Green Wadi who goes well on the AW aswell. Well drawn for a prominent runner. 0.5pt e/w Durgan 2.30 Lingfield Dreamacha is the one they all have to beat in this race, lightly raced and progressive in handicaps recently winning at brighton and then wolves with that form starting to work out well with the 2nd horse finishing 2nd tonight at wolves off a 1lb higher and several other placed efforts behind, was last seen in desperate conditions at leicester finishing a good second and should appreicate this return to a sounder surface and runs off same mark as that good second. 1pt win Dreamacha 3.00 Lingfield Billy Red the outsider of this decent looking handicap for sure this is stronger than what he contested last time but he proved he wasnt just a one trick pony when unable to dictate he had to come with a late run and was ultimately unlucky things didnt fall kinda and they would only need to fall a bit kinda today for him to have a shout, runs off the same mark for some unbelievable reason but out of the handicap by 1lb but even so that only makes him 2lb above last winning mark back round here and a return to 6f should suit as he was getting closer and closer at the line last time! 0.5pt e/w Billy Red 16/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) Ok cant do any good on the flat at the moment so will try my luck at the Jumps lol! 1.10 Cheltenham Captain Chris is not only a namesake but a class animal unbeaten in novice hurdles earlier in the year over this sort of trip, wasnt disgraced when upped in class on seasonal reappearnce in a grade 2 event over 4f further, sure to strip fitter for that and drops back in trip on chase debut and has looked as though he could make a smooth jumper, did win a novice hurdle round here so does have that vital course form and still open to a lot of improvement. 1pt win Captain Chris 10/3 bet365 1.45 Cheltenham Forpadydeplasterer has a fantastic record fresh and also loves it around here and although failed to get infront last year finished runner up on every start and appeared to be going that little bit better each time. On OR's Forpady has 12lb in hand of Tatiano and that may just tell as both of these may need a run to put them on song. 1pt win Forpadydeplasterer 11/8 vc

All-Weather Winter 10/11) 2.40 Wolverhampton Country Road has been very disappointing since landing a seller and his habit to hang in the closing stages recently is enough to put me off him back in handicap company but Trachonitis is an interesting runner for me having bounced back to form last time out when 3 lengths adrift of Naheell who has since won again under a 6lb penalty and that form looks solid for all it was run in a slow time but is well handicapped on best form having won off a 2lb higher mark in the past. 0.5pt win Trachonitis 4/1 bet365 3.40 Wolverhampton Red Kestrel is clearly in form again at the moment and has struck up a good rapor with this young apprentice who I believe could make a name for herself this winter she rides very well in my opinion and well worth her 7lb claim. Front runner and was collared on the line last time out which was unlucky, 2lb higher today and that was his first try at this trip and also lightly raced on the all weather so completely unexposed in these conditions and could go well again. 1pt win Red Kestrel 4.10 Wolverhampton Whozthecat landed a gamble at start of turf season but has been rather hit and miss since and is becoming hard to rely on although he ran a great race in defeat last time out but Piscean is gonna take some beating surely? Form of his life at the moment winning twice recently going away and amazingly handicapper only hit him with a 4lb rise which looks very lenient the race was a truely run race and a good time and has a very good record on the AW, 7 runs 3 wins and 3 placed efforts 1pt win Piscean 7/2 bet365

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 12.20 Southwell Lujiano loves it round here and was in good form earlier in the year. Dismal efforts on turf when last seen and whole yard been on holiday recently and this is the first runner of the yard recently and is an interesting runner back round here with a 50% strike rate. Still 4lb higher than last winning mark but was placed off a 2lb higher mark when last seen round here and not too badly drawn in stall 8 the main concern is the 6f trip although when winning she has won as though an extra furlong would be fine and breeding suggest so aswell 0.25pt e/w Lujiano 25/1 bet365 3.20 Southwell I think Pin Splitter is a very interesting runner in this handicap. And infact on jockey bookings looks first string. Showed very little in irish maidens and was sold very cheaply but is well related and certainly bred to be better than has shown to date and been bought by the Mccabe yard that often does well with its runners around here. Making debut for stable, handicap debut and fibresand debut very interesting runner off a modest mark. 0.5pt e/w Pin Splitter 18/1 bet365

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) What did you make of Piscean today Chris? I was on it as well, thought it was unlucky, firstly because of the NR, allowing Whozthecat to make all. Surely that wouldnt have happened if Cayman Fox had stood his ground. Also, Kirby settled him quite a way off the leader at the back and gave him too much ground to make up?

Not sure he was unlucky today to be honest, like you say the other front runner was taken out but on a day when it was hard to make up ground he always had a task on his hands to be fair. Looked a little tapped for toe at begining although can often do that and struggled around bend and is probably better suited to lingfields sweeping 'opening' home bend and kempton probably suited in past aswell as has longer run in and just because he was getting there in the end not sure 6f would suit, its just his dangerous style that cost him the race imo

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 2.50 Southwell Another big priced selection Novastasia, shown precious little up until now and although has shown some limited form on the AW at lingfield including a 4th off an 18lb higher. Yard are in good form and have a good enough strike rate round here with a decent LSP and if the fibresand and first time blinkers were there oracle he could potentially have a say in this weak looking handicap. She is related to some decent sorts including Observatory Star and a test of stamina on breeding is a positive although a step up in trip hasnt worked before but perhaps more of a test of 6f would suit better! 0.25pt e/w Novastasia 33/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 1.50 Lingfield Darcy's horses appear in good health at the moment with 2 runs recently and both have run to form and a little better. He got caught late on at Lingfield over 10f last week and this return to a mile looks sure to be a positive effect if returning in the same form. Runs off the same mark and first time blinkers also on. Has reasonably low mileage on the clock and slipping in the weights recently and only 2 races on the aw so certainly room for improvement yet. 0.5pt e/w Ajool 2.20 Lingfield Good race with many having a good chance if repeating certain pieces of form. Avertor was staying on very strongly at the death last time out over 6f and certainly suggests the step up in trip to 7f looks sure to suit but the more interesting runner for me is Lowther who caused a couple of upsets last year including 2nd in the silver cup at ayr last year off a mark of 92, rated just 85 now after a few disappointments this season, but back to form last time out with the eye shields back on only 3/4l down on the winner and Winston replaces apprentice and something I have noticed before this yard they use apprentices to run down marks/run them into form then put a professional up when ready! 0.5pt e/w Lowther 7/1 hills 4.40 Kempton Bradley yard is another yard in reasonable nick at the moment although without a winner horses are running to form and he runs his modestly useful Bluebok who yeah operates a basement level but is atleast reliable unlike most at this level. Ran a great race last time out over CD that was his first run for over 140 days sure to strip fitter. Runs off same mark again today and is 11lb below last winning mark and useful apprentice claims a handy 3lb and is surely gonna capitilise on it soon! 0.5pt e/w Bluebok

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 4.40 Wolverhampton Grand Stitch has finally found some form having been fitted with visor, step up to 7f and switch to AW and all appears to have clicked into place. Winning last 2 times out and was an easy winner last time out and a 6lb rise shouldnt be a problem from a good draw again and same jockey on board. 1pt win Grand Stitch 7/2 hills

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 4.10 Wolverhampton Tregoning appears in good form at the moment with no wins but all horses have been placed including my interest in this race Homeboy who ran his best race to date last time out when running on well, winner looks a small blot on handicapper but failed to quite repeat antics at southwell but perhaps found that coming too soon. Anyhow Homeboy came from the worst draw last time out but today has the best draw and is clearly on a good mark even up though up 3lb for latest effort is clearly unexposed and open to a little more! 0.5pt e/w Homeboy 6/1 bet365 7.10 Wolverhampton Slickback Jack is surely better than he showed last time he ran an awful race and needs to bounce back but prior to that he had been running well and on penultimate start he was staying on at the death over an inadequate 7f, and prior to that ran a solid 2nd over this extended mile trip. Nicholls taken over the running of the yard and its interesting they drop him back in a 3yr old only handicap (has been racing against elders since june) and well drawn again. 1pt win Slickback Jack 9/2 hills

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 3.55 Ascot Cracking looking handicap and Mille Chief had apparently been working well at home before disappointing at the racetrack a couple of weeks ago on handicap debut, but surely should strip fitter for that run and is clearly a class act after last years performances in novice hurdles. Good to soft ground also to suit. 0.5pt e/w Mille Chief 6/1 vc 4.15 Wolverhampton Downhill Skier finally got his head in front after several good efforts, that was at yarmouth on soft ground, completely disappointing off a 3lb higher mark at kempton last time out, but has a much better record going around here and has won twice around here and still well handicapped on that form having won off a mark of 60 twice, and rated just 59 today. If bouncingback today should have a good shout from a good draw. 0.25pt e/w Downhill Skier 4.45 Wolverhampton My Name Is Bert made a bold effort from the front last time out over CD on handicap debut and kept plugging on very encouringingly to suggest his heart is in the right place and surely has a win off this mark in him, 1lb well in on new mark and had clearly been working well at home having been backed from 28/1 down to 9/1, slight concern has to be his draw from stall 12 but completely unexposed. 0.5pt win My Name Is Bert 5.45 Wolverhampton Tenhoo looks a very interesting runner in this handicap, hasnt been seen since may but that was an encouraging start to his career in UK, has shown some limited promise in ireland off much higher marks and acting on AW and quite possibly been kept aside for an AW season and looks well treated on best form and certainly looked as though a step up in trip would suit. 0.5pt e/w Tenhoo 6.15 Wolverhampton Dandy Nicholls has taken the reins over from Glover and has inherited some useful sorts on the AW surfaces and has done well with his satelite yard so far including a winner here last night in the same colours as my selection tonight in Opus Dei he entered my notebook last time out have raced wide throughtout but ran on strongly in the finish, also noted he was well backed that day in first time cheek pieces which are retained again today and in my opinion ran right upto his current mark and on that has plenty in hand with most of these in maiden company and also interesting they drop him back into maiden company. 2pt win Opus Dei 7.15 Wolverhampton Mister New York looks out form currently but could be dangerous if getting a good toe into the race but for me it has to go to the Irish raider who has failed to run a bad race over hurdles or flat since last year and acts very well on the polytrack. Yard not gonna bring him over for no reason and has been competing in much stronger races than this including when 3rd in the Cambridgeshire and when 2nd in competitive handicap at Curragh, up 4lb for those efforts fair enough and has does stay this far no problem and the booking of Fallon looks a strong booking. 2pt win Pires 13/8 bet365

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) These were todays forgot to put in here: 12.15 Lingfield The Prodromou yard have never had such a successful spell until recently and are currently running on a 50% strike rate for last 14 days, 3 winners from 6 and all other runners have run to form. They run the lightly raced Nollaig Shona who finally got on track when winning by 3/4lengths to the in form White Shift up 4lb for that effort but certainly open to further improvement with so few miles on the clock and only on second start for new yard and well drawn to front run again. 0.5pt win Nollaig Shona 2.00 Lingfield Whispering Spririt has come alive since the switch to polytrack and fitted with a visor, was disappointing on turf 3 starts ago but back to form on the AW recently and was a convincing winner last time out under hanagan, up 3lb for that effort but Amy Ryan takes the ride and claims that 3lb back and looks to have got off leniently and Amy has won on her aswell. 1pt win Whispering Spirit 2.30 Lingfield My old mate Autumn Blades returns to his favourite track under Probert who struck a good record with this horse last winter as he improved out of recognition. Has won on turf off his current mark and was placed on aw off a 1lb last year. Well drawn and with probert back in the saddle he could be extremely dangerous back round here. 0.5pt e/w Autumn Blades 6.15 Wolverhampton Dear Maurice should hold a solid chance in this competitive looking handicap having shaped well on first 2 starts for new yard over tonights trip and looked to need step up in trip but did exactly the same thing last time out when staying on strongly at the finish but far too late. If the can learn to get him going a little soon he looks on a very workable mark and in good heart and is actually 5lb below last winning mark! 0.5pt e/w Dear Maurice 11/2 corals 8.45 Wolverhampton Praxios looks a massive price, Fallon comes down here for one ride tonight at Kirsty Milkshake is already at the course earlier in card and she does ride for Cumani sometimes so this is eye catching for me she doesnt ride but Fallon is here for just one race. Well held on first run when no better than mid div but sure to have learnt a lot and come on for that. This further step up in trip is sure to suit on breeding and well related to the very useful Presvis from this yard who has acted on the all weather surface before and looks of big interest. 0.5pt e/w Praxios 14/1 vc

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 12.40 Southwell First Swallow catches my eye in this race had previously run well prior to flopping last time out when well eaten at Wolves when unable to dictate from the front and probably best forgotten and perhaps worth another chance over the flying five, well drawn down the middle which usually proves the place to be and should be able to get his own way and has been dropped 2lb aswell and beginning to look well handicapped having placed off much higher marks and a very good record round here. 0.5pt e/w First Swallow 1.40 Southwell Nadeen could go very well with so few miles on the clock, had run a good race before last time out when only 3lengths adrift of the winner back in 5th place and built on that last time on fibresand debut when a neck second to Victorian Bounty over CD, up 2lb for that effort and clearly if building on that again could go well from a decent enough draw! 0.5pt win Nadeen 9/2 vc 2.40 Southwell General Tufto is prolific round here and has dropped back to his last winning mark but concern that blinkers have been removed for his return here and perhaps being warmed up for a winter spell with this run as recent efforts have been lack lustre. Hunters Belt has had 2 runs here at Southwell and both have been extremely positive especially last time out when winning fairly well last time out over CD prior to that was 2nd on 4th start in a maiden so clearly relishes the sand and has shown form off a similar mark as this earlier in the year and could still be well handicapped if back to best! 1pt win Hunters Belt

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 12.30 Lingfield Good looking handicap for the time of year and several have chances. Paphos is sure to go well have run out a clear cut winner in an apprentice race over 7f over C and prior to that a winner of 2 other 7f handicaps over C, obvious concern dropping back in trip and up 6lb in a stronger looking race and at the prices looks off putting. Mango Music has been running consistently of late including over CD last time out when 4th behind Anne of Kiev and could improve on that effort on a much lower AW mark than turf but again the price isnt very attractive. For me Rifflesione looks a massive race again very consistent and much better on AW than turf with 10 placed efforts and 2 wins from 20 starts and has been knocking on the door recently, ran well last time out considering draw and had to come wide and was a little keen, drawn slightly better today and should be able to tuck in better this time and should get the pace to come late and still remains on last winning mark! 0.5pt e/w Rifflesione 15/2 bet365 2.40 Lingfield A wide open handicap with the top 5 currently priced at around the same price! Dens gift is worth a small saver in this sort of race, not drawn best for a front runner but if he can get over he could be dangerous if left alone up front, tends to be fairly consistent on the AW and slipping back down the weights currently to only be 1lb above last winning mark. My main bet for the race will be Duster who has proved a decent sort on turf at a reasonable level and was unlucky not to get his head back in front last time out at newmarket on soft ground going down by a head, up 4lb for that effort but still reasonably lightly race and acts on polytrack and drawn well in stall 2. 0.25pt win Dens Gift 6/1 bet365 0.75pt win Duster 6/1 pp 3.15 Lingfield Atacama Sunrise bounced back to form of a 3lb lower mark than when he won last time, was winning going away and therefore could still have more for a jockey that is in the form of her life and well worth her 7lb claim as she is a very tidy apprentice who could be going places! Atacama is only up 2lb and has won off higher marks before. 0.5pt win Atacama Sunrise 11/2 hills

Re: Chris34's Flat 2010 (Inc. All-Weather Winter 10/11) 1.25 Lingfield For the grade this looks quite good with a couple of unexposed sorts who could improve past many of these. Cloth Ears won a very weak maiden over 5f at wolverhampton that was her first start over 5f and clearly took to it well. Totally outclassed and probably failed to cope with fibresand last time out in a conditions race but should be much more at home in handicap making debut in handicap of a realistic mark and at the prices looks a value bet with so few miles on the clock! 0.25pt e/w cloth ears 18/1 vc 2.35 Lingfield Anne of Kiev proved a tad frustrating on turf this season at times often finding trouble in running, but clearly won with plenty in hand at windsor in the summer and proved that last time out over CD swooping late of the home bend to get up near the line to win going away and clearly has more to give yet and a 4lb rise could be nothing compared to the ceiling of her ability and this tracks home turn clearly suits a horse like this! 1pt win Anne of Kiev 11/4 vcbet 3.05 Lingfield 2 of my notebook horses clash here today, Lowther finally got back to form last time out over CD winning very well with eye shields returned but has to deal with a wide draw again under a penalty in a stronger race and I just feel my old mate Autumn Blades has a little more chance, he is 2lb well in compared to his new mark from tomorrow having finished an agonising close second last time out in a very strong looking handicap and was another that returned to form returned to his favourite lingfield and with probert back on board who gets on well with this horse who isnt the easiest to win with at times often doesnt look the most convincing in the finish but clearly a very useful sort. 1pt e/w Autumn Blades 4/1 vc 6.35 Wolverhampton The fifth member was clearl held back for an autumn campaign as he relishes testing conditions and proved that last time out at Ayr, yard struggled in the main this season but just recently looked to have turned the corner with many good runs from the in mates and its interesting that they have kept this boy in training for an AW campaign instead of waiting for the spring handicaps. A 3lb rise in the weights wouldnt be enough if continueing his lsow but progressive file and has won twice on the AW before so clearly acts on it. 1pt win Fifth Member 9/2 vc
