Cornell
Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January SportTennis EventFernando Verdasco - Jo-Wilfried Tsonga SelectionVerdasco 2-0 Strength10/10 Date01/16/2010 Bookmaker/Price>William Hill @ 3.00 (Back) ReasoningWell, from the class difference point of view there is not much to say as both players can play some just fantastic tennis, there is all about form which should the word here as Verdasco has been just so impressive here at Kooyong. There are no doubts that Tsonga did impressed a lot too but Verdasco did looked just more confident and there were almost no errors in his play excepting his first set at this tournament. From another point of view Verdasco should have an advantage against Tsonga as he is a left-handed and could trouble Tsonga's backhand. The frenchman's style of play is based on his great serve and his forehand as well but Verdasco being a left-handed could avoid a good percentage of all those powerful forehands. With other words Verdasco never ever looked here at Kooyong in danger to lose at least one set, he has been so impressive and stable indeed, there is a lot of confidence by his side certain in this tournament and IMO he should be clear the favourite for this one despite the class difference between these two players is surely not a reason. All in all, Verdasco's great form should have the final word here. Good Luck!
