BillyHills
200 Beverley: Maidtorun Won here from stall one which you dont see every day and then went on to run below par at Ponte in a better race and on slower ground. Comes back to the minimum, lower grade and well drawn. Ticks all the boxes for me.
Lucky-15
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th Beverley 16:00 - Mister Jingles This twice C&D winner has only been out the places in five attempts here with his form reading 11933. With his form always seems to pick up around now after a couple of runs and carrying 2lb less than when winning a similar event last year, all his wins coming on gd/fm think he should go close at a decent price. 0.5pts E/W:ok
Aykay1
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 740 Hamilton - Nightjar each way Ran a good third behind well treated Main Aim and Aye Aye Digby, who went into my notebook after an unlucky run last time. Nightjar looks in good form and on the basis of that run should go close again today.

The horse is well drawn today and seems to run its best races when turned out quickly so the 9 day break will be an advantage. Hopefully the jockey will not commit too soon this time and keep going until the line.
bowles10
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 3.40 HAYDOCK - GLOBAL CITY (6F, cL3, g/f) At Haydock tomorrow in the 3.40 race, godolphin have Global City whose form reads 2 wins & 1 place in 7 races. The 2 wins were both as a 2yo at Yarmouth & Lingfield (AW). The 1st at Yarmouth was only a class 5 maiden after which they did thier usual probably expecting they had a decent one, & ran it in the Molecomb stakes (group 3) at Goodwood, beaten 8.5L into 9th place & outclassed. It then finished 6th in a Nursery at Chester over 5f from a bad draw, & was highest placed of the high drawn horses that day beaten nearly 6L. On its final start as a 2yo won at Lingfiled in a class 4 conditions stakes easily winning by 3.5l. Campaigned this season to date in Class 2 handicaps & put in a good performance 1st time up at Salisbury only beaten 1.5l behind instalment. Its latest race was a 5th place behind impressive winner Bouvardia at Newmarket off 96. Was beaten 2.5L that day & 4th place Proclaim has won since, plenty of winners will come from that race. Ground & trip will be fine & for me this represents an ideal placing for a Godolphin horse with the drop to class 3 company.
StuSimmy
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 15:20 Brighton - Rose Of Coma E/W Distance and going will suit this horse fine, won over both at Leicester at the end of last month albeit only by a short head but it did make a slow start to the race so that should be kept in mind. Didn't run the best of races on the all weather at Lingfield LTO but I think going back on to turf will suit it and I expect it to run a big race. fintron
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 2.20 Brighton Anne's Rocket coasted home over course and distance last time out and goes well for jockey Gemma Elford, who didn't even need to draw upon the whip to land the race last time out. That was his second run over course and distance; on the other he was beaten by only a head into second, and that run and his recent win have come off marks of 50 and 53. He runs off 57 here, so still looks handicapped to have a chance. He overcame a wide draw to score last time so stall 9 may not actually be that much of a hindrance. 1 pt win

Odds are nice and market says that this horse has a chance, fine with me and hope the odds come in more before the off, laying Goodluck Whatever You Bet Today
wizzkid walter
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 2:00 Brighton - Anne's Rocket - Back Mightily impressive last time out. Was held up and made constant, smooth progress down the outside to pick them all off. Won under hands and heels riding that day, the whip never needed. Is 2 for 2 under today's pilot, and looks to be fairly well handicapped. The fact that he gets on well with the jockey (who claims 7lb aswell) looks significant, and 6/1 looks a monsterous price. I'm playing my joker based on all of the above. 2pt supernap win
Jk
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 2.20 Brighton: Duke of Milan 2nd run under the Dascombe yard who are in great form. Unlucky in last run when squeezed through but couldnt make up the final couple of furlongs. Drops back a couple of furlongs today and runs with cheek pieces for the first time. Mountain Cat is the obvious favorite but this horse could spring a suprise.

Looked better last couple of efforts though and interesting stepped back down in trip from good draw.

I'm not so sure. He has had 2 sub-par efforts at the 1m 2f and drops back to 1m today. This distance has also led to a string of poor results in races of Class 2 and 3, and his last victories came in Class 4 races almost a year ago. I'm not sure what he has to justify his second favouritism. The main dangers: Mujood has been going close in this Class and distance, Tanto Faz is improving with every run. Verisimilitude
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th DESERT KISS 6.20 Kempton. 0.5 points each way. Not had much racing, but open to improve on what he has shown, and I think he can improve for the switch to the all weather. The trip seems to be fine and the handicapper lets him in off an attractive looking mark of 67. Horses like Bold Marc can go off fast and set the race up for him, therefore looks the bet here to go close.
Falbrav
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th AVONCREEK 6.40 Hamilton. 0.5 points each way. Very inconsistent, but on best form in context with a mark of 48 this evening, he does have every chance of getting in the frame. Appears to go better for more 'gentler' handling (sorry ladies), and with looking to be showing more of an interest last time, I think he could go well at big odds this evening. The trip and ground wouldn't be a concern and so at current odds of around 40/1 (Betfair), I'd be a player.

Samba_SamPa
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 8.10 Hamilton - BIRKSIDE (win) Almost exactly a year since his last handicap win - 3lbs lower today - but has been successful in 2 claimers in that time, including at this course lto over a furlong shorter. That was his first visit to this venue and he can make it 2 from 2 back into handicap company tonight. Whilst hardly leaping off the page as being 'well in' he is certainly more than capable of picking a race up off a mark of 78. Just to enhance his claims the excellent Fredi Tylicki take off a further 5lbs and he is riding well just now booting home plenty of winners

Lars
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th 20:20 Kempton Grey Boy has won at this course and distance in the not so distant past and I feel the odds given are very nice. Has been fairly consider at grade 5, and the step up in class sees some weight off his back which may help this one a lot. Is a very open race anyway and this horse seems to like Kempton and the all-weather. Horse has gone better in general with this jockey aboard. At 20/1 it's a decent bet. 0.5pt EW
WHUPUNTER
Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Wednesday 10th Kempton 7.50 Penperth 0.5 e/w Been watching this horse with interest since it finished an eyecatching 3rd on debut. I was at Great Leighs that night and watched it finish strongly, before following that up with a 2nd at the same track. The horse's only appearance this term was at Yarmouth where he pulled very hard early on, and never got involved so ill forget that. Will definitely win a race this season and 16/1 is cracking each way value.

He won off of an OR of 70 here and carries 6lb more today. He could possibly run into a place back at a track he knows. Effective at 7F to 1M and drawn 9 today, which may help his chances.
