fintron
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Straw Bear was nowhere :( 210 Bangor – That’s Rhythm – 5pts ew @ 8/1 betfred (NAP) Fell in the Scottish National last time but should go close based on his C&D win in March, beating Calusa Caldera comfortably by 15 lengths, who has won twice since. 7lb’s higher than that race and also up in grade but such was the ease of that victory he could easily be up to it - further improvement is likely with only 5 races over fences so far. Betfred are a big 8/1 compared to 11/2 with bet365. great call :clap
mileni4uk
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 That horse by the words of connections needed the run today :loon A lot more is expected from him in the future :ok

Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Thanks guys 310 Cheltenham - Maucaillou 5pts each way @ 16/1 bet365 Looks fairly weighted based on his Cheltenham form from 2008. was a Pertemps hurdle 3rd behind Fair Along and Don’t Push it in December 2008, off an OR of 126. Runs of 129 today. Prior to that finished behind Andytown at Cheltenham on soft and finds himself 23lb’s better off with that one today. It seems lot of these have at least one question mark against them and it wouldn’t be a massive surprise to see a bigger price figure. Maucaillou seems to have the course and going in his favour today and should go well.
Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Maucaillou was frustratingly 4th. Grrrrrrr! 310 Lingfield - Rileyev 10 points win @ 7/2 bet365 (NAP) Venetia Williams started slowly last season before peaking in December and the same thing seems to be happening this time around. Rilyev was fancied last time and started favourite. Having led from 2 out, he ran out of steam to trail home 4th. He should come on for that. His run at Aintree in June gives him a real chance, beaten 3 1/2 lengths by Shiwawa, who subsequently went on to win 3 of his next 4 races. In addition he was a massive 23 lengths clear of the 3rd. Aykay1
Four for tomorrow. I'll try and post the prices of the two missing bets tomorrow as nothing is available right now. Otherwise, i will settle at SP. 1.15 Newcastle – Abbeybraney (NAP) Has good form in top class company from last season and looks well handicapped based on that. The step up to 3m didn’t seem a problem last time out and can get off the mark over fences here. 2.55 Newcastle – It’s Teescomponents Worth another chance over longer after failing to follow up last time 240 Newbury – What a Friend 5 pts ew @ 8/1 ladbrokes Has been thought of as a potential future Gold Cup horse by Nicholls last season but flopped in the RSA Chase, finishing 6th behind Cooldine. Prior to that he set a high standard of form by beating the high class Carruthers and Ballyfitz. He has since bounced back with a 32 length victory on his seasonal debut and can go well here off a decent looking weight. Ground and trip will be fine. 325 Newcastle – According to John – 5pts ew @ 7/1 ladbrokes Probably needed the run last time and is potentially well handicapped. Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Abbeybraney is 2.62 @ betfair It's Teescomponents is 2.87 with stan james
mileni4uk
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 It's Teescomponents was a bank job. Been saying to RB this whole week he'll bolt up. And to see him drift to 5/2 :eek
Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Yeah won by about 20 lengths i think, shame i took 15/8 but nevermind. Places for WAF and ATJ, whilst Abbeybraney was disappointing. A profit overall :)
Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 100 Huntingdon – Calusta Crystal 10 points win @ 11/4 bluesq Has run respectably behind some high class horses on last 2 starts. This , whilst still a competitive race with a hot favourite, looks easier that previous races. 210 Ludlow – Just Smudge – 5 pts ew @ 5/1 betinternet (NAP) Just Smudge comes into this in form having won by 7 lengths last time out. Up 4lb’s for that but the useful apprentice jockey takes off 5lb’s to help negate that. The stable won this last year and peaked in December – they look like doing the same again – Venetia Williams had 2 winners on Tuesday so could be hitting some form. Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Calusta Crysal won yesterday whilst Just Smudge was unplaced. 150 Cheltenham - According to Pete - 5pts ew @ 6/1 >bet365 (NAP) An OR of 139 looks attractive, having run a decent race off 142 behind Tranquil Sea last time. Ground and trip should be fine and he can continue to progress from the form he showed last year.
Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 According to Pete finished 5th yesterday :( Thought Trabolgan ran his best race yet since coming back from injury, may be one to keep an eye on. 210 Doncaster – Watch my Back 5 pts ew @ SP (NAP) Finished 5th last time out, which was commendable given he made a costly mistake 4 out, then was hampered by a faller 2 fences out. He kept on well after that and should challenge with a clear run.
Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 1245 Cheltenham - 5 pts ew @ 4/1 bet365 Looks the most viable alternative to Inchidaly Rock. Has a good level of hurdling form, leaving him just short of the class to win at the top level. Won on his chasing debut and has a course form here which is important. The favourite is a worthy one but im not convinced he deserves to be odds on.

Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 225 Cheltenham - Tamarinbleu - 5pts ew @ 11/1 bluesq Following Deep Purples success in the Peterborough Chase, this one becomes of interest as he was only beatena head by Deep Purple last time. Winner of this race in 2007, Tamarinbleu gets in off a 3lb higher mark this time round. After a few races in which he was running respectably but getting outclassed somewhat, the run last time was an indication he could be ready to hit winning form again. Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 Cheers Bowles :) 110 Hereford - pension plan 5pts ew @ sp (nap) in contention when making a hash of the 3rd last, subsequently hampered by a faller and would have finished a lot closer than his 6th place suggests. Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 3rd @ 20/1 :) I must admit, i wasnt expecting that starting price, so very happy with that :ok
Aykay1
Re: Time for a NAP: 2009 345 Ffos Las - Wallace Monument - 10 points win @ 7/2 ladbrokes (NAP) Won well last time out and the 2nd and 3rd have gone in since. Can progress from that with the stable in good form.
