ubermonkey1 Posted June 29, 2008 Author Share Posted June 29, 2008 Re: Ubers Vegas thread finally cashed last night:nana:nanabut it was only for my buy in tho:eyes played in the $65 tourney in the luxor with a couple i have met from the hendon mob.unfortunately we didnt check the structure which was absolutely the worst i have ever played:wallit was even worse than a uber turbo :loon 1200 chips and 15 min blinds with levels at least doubling,and it was a bounty.i managed to knock 2 players out but went out 7th with top 3 paid. did well in the 2 oclock in PH finishing 15th of 116 but only 9 were paid but i did really enjoy it (at least it had some play in it:ok).did have one sick outdraw against me with the other guy hitting a 1 outer on the river:puke. friday was quite amusing as i meet a few hendon mobsters for a drink in the rio and to buy in to my game on monday.trouble was we drank first and by the time we went to the reg we were struggling to remember what events we were playing,don't think the girl in the cage was amused:lol just been shopping with morls ,as he now has no clothes thanks to virgin:loongoing up to the rio in a little while for morls to reg and rail a couple of people,then i think its off to PH for the 7pm game. ubermonkey1 Posted July 1, 2008 Author Share Posted July 1, 2008 Re: Ubers Vegas thread ended up around 900th and g was around the 1800 mark:eyes i was getting very little and the starting stack was only 3k. late in level 2 i managed to get out of a big hand where i was bb, had q8 with 2 callers. flop came down k 5 8 with 2 clubs and we all check (which was fishy as the guy with pos was betting late every time)turn was another 8 i put in a pot sized bet(about 350) and both call:unsure. river came ac which was not ideal:eekput in a 500 bet to see where i was ,next to act min raised ,button guy made it 2500 so i let it go. other guy called with a flush but mr button was slo playing a set of 55s so it was lucky the club fell:tongue2. after that i was down to around 1800 chips:( the stacks around me were all starting to grow so i needed to start pushing but i was still getting rags. managed to make a few steals here and there but my stack was staying pretty level which was not really helping. a bit after first break i got moved to another table so my tight image from table one wasn't going to help so i had to pick my spots well.also had my first recognisable pro in david williams. was pushing anything reasonable in late pos but still not even getting much that i could play:sad pushed a k9 otbvs williams that he called with k7 which split in level3(100/200),early level 4(100/200+antes) i picked up 9 10 s otb with 2 callers in front so i pushed ,got a call from the big stack with aj but hit 2 pair on the flop to double thru (but still short). eventually went out halfway thru level 5 (150/300). the bigstack flat called early and so did the guy next to me(big stack had been flat calling a lot pre flop)i woke up with 10s which was the best thing i'd seen in over 4 hours play ,so pushed all in for around 2500. the big stack took his time calling which looked good, but it was to fish in the other guy as he had pocket aces,no help took me out:wall although i didnt get that far i'm pretty happy with how i played and i dont think i could have got a lot further than i did on the day:unsure me,morls pene and gaz (and a drunken tikay who we met in there)played the 11pm at ceasers last night which turned into a bit of a donkfest. morls was out in 3 hands after picking up a set of aces on the flop,so he still hasn't cashed:lol my table was the craziest i've ever been on ,had an indian guy next to me who went all in pre flop at least 90%of the time.at one point he went down to 50 chips and 20 hands later he was on over 20k,i have never seen someone get as much luck. every card he called out dropped:loon had one table comedian who was blah blah blah all the time which nearly got him in to trouble , he wound up a big body building dude who took exception after he got knocked out by the crazy guy with 10 5.it looked like he was about to become a bit less jovial;). in fact he did start going on tilt soon after as one player pushed with kq giving the crazy guy protection when he would have gone out. from then on he kept calling the other player a donk and getting more wound up by the crazy guy to the point where he actually broke a chip:loon i ended up going out at the same time as pene and we got a cab back as we were both knackered:zzzgaz was still going strong so :hopehe cashed again. gonna have a bit of a relaxing day today as i'm all pokered out after playing most of yesterday,hopefully my luck will turn a little as i've really been on a bad run of cards:sad Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I ended up making the final table but going out in 10th for $200 after getting a bit of a bad beat but can't complain as I should have been out earlier when I spiked a king when up against QQ. Having amazing time so far in Vegas, the guys are mental! We played 'beer-pong' yesterday which was hilarious!! Going to the BLUFF party tonight which should be good! ubermonkey1 Posted July 3, 2008 Author Share Posted July 3, 2008 Re: Ubers Vegas thread did win something yesterday:nana:nana the beer pong north vs south challenge with me and mkop vs morls and matt.it was a crushing 3-0 victory and the last game we won by a landslide so matt and morls were really hammered:lol it turned into a bit of a drunken day as we started playing beer pong at 2 then they had an all you can drink special between 4 and 6, then they were doing jugs of sex on the beach for $5:loon we left there at around 7 all the worse for wear :beer:beer:beer our next stop was the minor league baseball around 7 miles away .there were 6 of us in total so couldnt get a single cab but some limo guy offered to do it for $80 which was only around $20 more than 2 cabs so we thought why not.couldnt believe it when he bought it round ,must have been the biggest limo i'd ever seen:loon the baseball was crap but we got the limo back and he took us right down the strip which was cool:okby that time we were feeling a bit fooked after more beer at the baseball so me and morls decided to sit on the slots and have a couple of drinks then off 2 bed as we were playing golf early today. we were sitting there for around half an hour when some blonde girl comes over and says"hi guys i'm mercedes,which one of you wants to take me to their room and shag me":lol:lol we both declined as it were both tight and it looked like she could eat an apple thru a letterbox(mind u other than that she was :loon) just as we decided bed was a good idea morls got a call from damatrix seeing if we fancied meeting up for a beer and our early night turned into us getting to bed about 4.30. played golf this morning but it was sooooo hot.me and paul ross even decided to run thru the sprinklers to cool down. mkop won:clap:clap with me second and morls close behind.just had a nap as its doyles party tonight at the saphire rooms and i felt knackered after yesyerday. will be back on the poker tomorrow as we are playing binions i think . also we might go back to blondies as theres a beer pong tournament with a $500 bar bill as a prize:cheers:cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
