Is the “high” price of the bookies enough value or would this be a losing proposition for them (to even the book), in other words wouldn’t it be better to compare prices with average prices (but then there probably wouldn’t be enough opportunities) Anyway the proof is in the pudding and this one tastes pretty good so far. keep up the good work :clap

I'm not sure to be honest mate. I always do them early in the morning and sometimes late the night before and it seems to be working out ok. I'm sure the prices would be different just before ko but these timescales suit me at the moment so I'll be sticking with them. :ok Also, with the strike rate being so high the price you lay at doesn't actually matter all that much ie not much difference between laying at 7.20 or 7.40 because at the moment only 1 in 10 are 'losing' (costing us a payout).

Would there be value in doing this in other markets for example HT/FT?

Not sure about the HTFT market. There's only 9 outcomes and some of the prices are monstrous! Which would probably only leave us with only 1/1, X/1, X/X, X/2 and 2/2.

Could thunderfoots "lay all" system work in the correct score market?

I don't think so cos IIRC that system was reliant on the shortest outcome winning whereas this one works on the shortest (or shorter) outcomes failing.

You could compare to average prices if you like. The only difference would probably be the 'value' diff % I calculate but as we saw earlier in the thread this value is not really having a bearing on the results! :lol

So Blackburn draw 0-0 to give us 7/8 on the day and a small profit of 4.50pts - better than a loss! :loon Fixed Profit Bets Placed 105 Units Staked 7,536.00 Units Returned 7,790.50 Profit 254.50 Yield 3.38% Strike Rate 90.48% Average Odds 1.14 Average Stake 71.77

As a footnote to the above it's worth pointing out that whilst this system is showing good results at the moment, 250ish points is only 3 and a half stakes profit at average odds lay odds of 8.20 (which is what we have) so it would only take 3 results to hit on a weekend and we are back to square one. :\ Just thought I'd mention this in case you get carried away with it! :loon

Good luck with those mate. Am I correct in thinking the first price is the bookie price and the second one Betfair? If so I see you have only gone for the ones where you can better prices? Sounds perfect in theory, but as we saw earlier only a fraction of the profit has come from those games in my selections. Re: Laying Correct Scores I'm not sure I'm too optimistic about Champions Leagues games, but we'll put them in and have a go. Should be remembered that we've missed the first 3 'league format' rounds so any results might be slightly skewed especially in the last couple of rounds when there might be certain 'friendly' results available. Guess we'll just have to see...
