Crouch Potato
Re: Crouchie's Poker Thread The fish's stacks have dwindled and so too I presume are my implied odds. Almost doubled my Pkr roll and I'm just a few hundred points from clearing a bonus. 3 winning sessions and no losing sessions and calling it quits before I donkey off. Just a shame I didn't take advantage of the Hendon Mob's rakeback for PKR :(

Nade
Re: Crouchie's Poker Thread Well, what a bizarre game of poker on pkr. Started off gettin gr8 hands, but missing everything so i lost a lot, then bluffed a couple, but i should have known you couldn't bluff on there:unsure... then i hit a few good cards and make some dough back. Then to top the night off i have bullets, fella goes all in with open-end straight draw hoping to catch a card and of course to sum my luck up they did :eyes It's so frustrating to play on there as they call with any 2 cards at any time, i'm sure there's money to be made, but not tonight :sad WD crouch on your plays m8, you're solid :ok PS. Now i feel like the worst player ever. Confused. :loon
Crouch Potato
Re: Crouchie's Poker Thread Cheers mate. Two important lessons I have found on PKR is don't bluff. Fish love to call with 3 high. Check-Call is almost always the way IMO. Even hands like A-Q, A-J, I prefer to limp unless on the button or cut-off because if you miss there's no continuation bet because they just call. Keep it small unless you have the nuts, or close to. The other lesson is people think top pair is the nuts. You saw checkdeflo go all-in with $20 with K6 on a board of Kxx. As you can see when i flopped trip 9s too people love to overestimate top pair. Again, no bluffing lol. If you've got middle pair it's often just best to let it go IMO because a better spot is always just around the corner. When in doubt I much prefer to check-call rather than try and semi-bluff or betting for information. People don't like their chips and this is really the only information there ever is to get. Nade
Re: Crouchie's Poker Thread Some, no, most of the plays or just unreal after playing 'decent' poker on the ipoker network where people actually play poker you have to adjust your game to suit, which is tough, but there's no way you can get away with playing proper poker on there because they play with any 2 cards lol.
