I'm going for: 5.10 WOLVERHAMPTON Melvino This is the time of year when David Barron's horses should be followed and Melvino can gain another victory for the yard. Although Melvino steps up in class having landed a competitive handicap over course and distance just after christmas, against mainly out of form opponents this afternoon he should be capable of defying the penalty. Most of the other runners make little appeal and so it shouldn't be too hard a task for Melvino and he can make it back to back victories. I backed Wingman E/W LTO and was a distant but very game 2nd to I think it was My Turn Now, also in the mud. Also had it up here as my E/W fancy. Wingman in the 1:30 at Plumpton is my banker.
