Re: Project WSOP 2007 - BELIEVE!!!!!

yeah' date='i read that or tried to:lol[/quote'] Al - I agree its a bloody maze, but I think according to Poker Player you need to fill out a tax return, before you get an ItIN number. So that would mean that you have to win more than a grand before you need to worry. I'm not being pessimistic about our chances here !! :eyes what I mean is once you've won $300k, pay some clever account $50 dollars to sort it out :loon

tip of the day play somewhere easier:ok edit: majority of us are doing it independantly and buying in ourselves from our winnings over the last year, others have won using full tilt, poker satellites or won magazine freerolls

Re: Project WSOP 2007 - BELIEVE!!!!!

any tips?
Look for low entry series/freerolls - they offer a far greater chance than the regular route... Things like: The Hendon Mob League - top 10 in League played STT for WSOP ME Pacakge PokerSatellites Raked Hand Freerolls - About 80? in the final playing for an $8,500 WSOP package The PokerPlayer and InsidePoker magazine series - 30 - 50 seat live finals (qualifying through freeroll series) Virgin Poker STT Challenge - player winning most games (and buy in/table size) in a week went through to 5 seat STT final - top 2 won WSOP packages Radio series of Poker at Rounders Radio - very low entry league through to 40 seat final for WSOP ME package These are just a few off the top of my head - Poker Rooms use WSOP as one of their main promotional tools - look for promos with relatively low entry ...... all of the ones above have had about 30 to 50per cent of the finalists being PL'rs - that's why we win so many packages :ok

Re: Project WSOP 2007 - BELIEVE!!!!! I'm setting off for LA tomorrow :nana As I'll be on my way back when most of you are arriving in Vegas, I'd like to wish you all the very best of luck in the wsop. I've only played one game of poker since March, so I'll start off with a couple of warm up tournys in the Stratosphere. Then it's onto either the $1500 NL on the 21st or 23rd June. :cheers
