slick mick
Re: Punters Lounge World Tour of Poker I'm waiting for the casino manager to get back to me about the exact format but basically I'm planning 5000 starting stack, blinds start at 25/50 and go up every 20 minutes. This should allow for a more skillful game. There will be a running sit and go once 10 people have been knocked out. Once I have all the details worked out I'll start a separate thread asking for definite confirmations. I'll also PM those who have already expressed interest with details of the new thread. To reiterate the tournament will be at Bannatynes Casino Newcastle on Saturday 20th May starting at 8:00 pm BST.
Sir Puntalot
Re: Punters Lounge World Tour of Poker One of the reasons I effectively said no earlier was because any "PL Day", I like to be there and at least pay for drinks for everyone, as PL reinvests all its profits. In Birmingham, PL paid for all hotel rooms and drinks, but obviously with York being the day before, this would be a lot of cash spent effectively too quickly. It won't happen every time of course, but that's what PL is all about imo. :ok
e4sby
Re: Punters Lounge World Tour of Poker Well i think i might have to try and get Elmcroft and myself up to newcastle for this event. I'll be happy to spend some of my pokerwinnings :D So save some of the PL profits for yet another fantastic night during the summer :ok

I was and allways have been under the impression that any costs after York would be met by the individuals going on to Toon, as i am sure so were all others concerned. So that means you will have loads of money to come to Bournemouth in Sept/Oct which I wll PM you the details about shortly along with the other matter we discussed;) REGARDS

ubermonkey1
Re: Punters Lounge World Tour of Poker i agree totally with everybodys qoutes about the birmingham pl tourney. it was very kind of the lounge to pay for the weekend:notworthy and i would quite happily stumped up a load of cash for such a great night out, so thanks again paul . just gutted i cant make the york/newcastle event because of my holiday. because i cant make the may do i was thinking that as this is a world tour we should have a south east leg ,maybe in the summer(late june, early july) . i know someone who runs a poker club in canterbury who may let us use it for a nite (also drinks are cost price:beer ) i also know a contact who runs a hotel in the area so in should be able to get good rates on that, so its only travel to worry about. just thought i would get a bit of feedback see if anyones up for it :ok
