yossa6133
You'd like to think so! Peterborough have improved now the pressure is off but Forest should have too much, not interested at the prices though. From what I've seen recently, Coventry looks a better team than WBA and have had some big wins away from home, so around 5/2 is tempting me. StevieDay1983
Sheffield United vs Cardiff OK, so I might have correctly backed Luton to beat Cardiff last weekend but it could've gone either way with Jordan Hugill and Isaak Davies both missing clear cut chances. Cardiff end of season result roulette continues this week as they travel to play Sheffield United in a 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday afternoon at Bramall Lane. We've witnessed some classics there down the years so hopefully this will be another one. Sheffield United are firmly in contention for the Championship play-offs with the club in 6th place and 1 point inside the play-off positions. The Blades have the likes of Millwall, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, QPR, and Coventry hot on their heels so any dropped points could see the fortune swing. There's no denying that Paul Heckingbottom has done a sterling job at turning the club around from lower mid-table potential relegation battlers to play-off contenders. It's spell he needed after unsuccessful stints with Hibernian and Leeds. United have seen their form take a hit recently though with just 1 win from their last 5 league games including failing to win any of their last 3 league games. The club have also failed to win both of their last 2 home league games so is the pressure of the home crowd getting to the players? Cardiff are the epitome of inconsistency right now. Steve Morison is testing out new systems and giving as many players game time as possible to work out who he wants involved in his squad next season. There have been rumours linking us with the likes of Jed Wallace, Michael Hector, and Ryan Allsop with Morison stating he wants to bring in between 10 and 15 new players over the summer. The club has also been in talks with the clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City over loan signings. It's been reported that City are particularly interested in that arrangement after the success of Tommy Doyle's loan move. Unfortunately, this is the here and now and our squad remains limited... particularly in defence. 3 losses from the last 4 league games gives the impression that the Bluebirds' season is winding down in underwhelming fashion. The 3-2 win that Sheffield United enjoyed at the Cardiff City Stadium earlier in the campaign ended a 6-game winless run for the Blades in this fixture. It was also the first time in 6 meetings that over 2.5 goals have been scored. It's now 6 visits to Bramall Lane that Cardiff are now unbeaten but I wouldn't be surprised to see that change here. The only influencing factor would be Sheffield United feeling the play-off pressure again. As I said last time, I would be able to give a more accurate prediction based on who starts for Cardiff but even then it seems completely random! Bang on
Hope you are right @StevieDay1983 about the Sheffield United result. Best bet for me has to be the great value 2.3 for Millwall to win at the oh so poor Birmingham.
