I'm not usually a fan of these events as they can sometimes turn into a sprint from the second last. On this occasion that may help here as I quite like the idea of Ballycasey hunting round and then showing his speed and class late on. Trotter Posted December 14, 2018 Share Posted December 14, 2018 We all know what an admirable horse Lil Rockefeller is but another big feather in his cap today in the novice chase at Cheltenham He unseated his rider near the beginning of the race then carried on for about another 3 miles and 20 fences and jumped every one …….. staying in touch with the field Plenty of opportunities to stop, go round fences or run out but he just carried on jumping …….. what a smashing horse !
