Races here off just a pound higher than last time when he just got touched off on soft ground. De Sousa rides again and will be keen to make amends, may have just got racing too early in the ground last time. So a win double on - 2.00 Goodwood Lyricas Lion - Get to the front and shouldn’t have to much trouble holding off this bunch. 4.10 Goodwood Austrian School - Same as above really. Bit more money late on for this Irish raider would also be encouraging. Won on the flat as recently as 3 starts ago over 1m 2f at Dundalk. Since then has had one run over hurdles, 7th of 20 beaten 8 lengths at Down Royal when getting a wider than ideal trip to dispute the lead and then faded final 1f and stumbled over the final hurdle.
