15:45 Windsor : Wind In My Sails @ 8/1 Ladbrokes e/w thanks

Wind In My Sails.....from Ed de Giles yard the 5yo is a C&D winner and has been a of four races from 7f to 1m from good to good to firm, He was successful here in August two races back with handicapper hitting him with a 5lb rise for that win ,

The yard gave him another run at Newmarket 1m good but the step up to class 2 and extra 5lbs he could not carry it and finished 7th of 8 runners beaten 9.25 lengths to God Willing, He drops to class 3 today which maybe a big ask as it was class 4 and 5 his wins came , Its been 226 days since last ran but hopefully wintered well and yard put some stamina work in , Hopefully a strong wind and he sails home for me,

145 Kempton

American Gigolo NAP 6/5 Bet365
Charlie Mann saddles his 5yo American Gigolo here and will find this a lot easier than taking on Pingshou, as he did at Aintree in Grade 1 company last time out. He was still in with some sort of chance turning for home and only just finished behind the likes of Moon Racer. This is obviously easier and will take all the beating.

4.50 Beverley: Class 4 Handicap, 8.5f

There is every chance that the top two in the betting are both on marks underestimating their true class, however Carnageo is a better price and I prefer him given I liked his seasonal reappearance at Doncaster earlier this month. allot

Carnageo won three times last season, though he only got up by narrow margins the last two, still it's fair to say he improved extremely well during his three year old campaign. His final performance at Nottingham over 8.5f given the form delivered five individual winners subsequently and the runner-up is now 8lb higher rated.

Probably stretching his stamina to the max, Carnegeo travelled well at Doncaster three weeks ago and seemingly came with a big challenge from three furlongs out, however he hit a wall inside the final furlong and was eventually eased.

The drop down to 8.5f should suit and with race fitness ensured he might still be able to pull out a bit more. Only the faster than ideal ground is a real question mark for me.

Selection:
Carnegeo @ 9/2 William Hill

Well done all last month's winners and especially Billy for the superb admin.  I'm hoping I can convert a few of these placed horses into winners this month and at least finish in profit. :hope

3.45 Windsor

Kingston Kurrajong @ 15/2 Betfair SO

I backed this at a massive price on the AW at the end of March and it finished really well to be beaten a length in 4th.  Tried to make all at Bath which went wrong.  Has the 2 box here which is nice at Windsor on this ground, should be able to sit in behind likely leader Medburn Dream and hopefully pick up late as at Kempton.  Has won over CD off 2lb higher and this is a course where I like previous course form.
