Hi all, Any predictions for this weeks only Serie A midweek match. The draw looks a good lay selection here. I usually look at the last few seasons and games with similar opposition and compare what happened to the odds on offer. According to my analysis the draw has only occurred in 13% of games featuring one of these two teams, thats odds of approx 7.5. Bookies have this down as 3.35. Any other views ?

Re: Sampdoria vs Inter - 3rd April 2013 Inter, once mighty side, regular participant in Champions League, somehow managed to lose it's grip during couple of past seasons, and now they struggle to clinch a spot that will lead them to Europe competitions. Plagued with injuries Inter will meet Sampdoria that didn't lose a game since the beginning of the year. One draw and 5 straight-forward victories speak for themselves. Inter, with all that struggle can hope for a score draw, nothing more. bet365 offers 1.83 for both to score, I'd go for it.

Re: Serie A > 3rd - 8th April Juvcentus are 9 points ahead amd have improtant game against Bayern Munchen next week, so I guess they might rest all of their key palyers. It might sound silly, but it is common when a team on the last place beats the team on the first place. So just for fun might palce a bet on Pesacara to win here.

One of the draws came against the team of AC Milan on 13.01.2013, which is still unbeaten this year. Sampdoria also failed to break teams like Roma in their area. Home hosts recorded 7 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses in 14 games. Guests recorded only three wins in last 10 games and only one of them came after the visit. Inter still have a chance for a zone Europe, although minimal and I think it will fight hard for it. This match will be very important for them, but guests at Sampdoria play hard. Heads up the team of Inter have a slight advantage, but their victories have come mostly at home. In the last 10 home meetings direct with 2 wins, guests have 4 wins and 4 times are tying. On home ground Sampdoria have played 5 games, the hosts have 2 wins, guests have 1 win and 2 times are tying. This statistic makes me think that Sampdoria will win today.

Juventus vs Pescara - 6th April 2013 I'm not sure that this will be as straightforward as the markets are suggesting. Juventus actually have a very poor record against teams they are expected to thrash, with plenty of draws. I would predict a small win for Juventus at best. With a 2 goal deficit to contend with next week in the champions league vs Bayern, surely their minds will be focused on this. My tip would be to back Pescara on the Asian Handicap +2.5, 1.80 is available.

Re: Serie A > 3rd - 8th April Fiorentina vs AC Milan Milan have really put their early season woes behind them and have become a little bit of a force towards the 2nd half of the season. They last lost on the 22nd December to Roma 12 games ago. They have been very impressively defensively of late also picking up clean sheets in their last 5 games which is very impressive. Stevan Jovetic and Matias Fernandez miss this one for Fiorentina, both huge misses for the Viola. Giuseppi Rossi is not match fit so it is uncertain on how much of a role he will play in this one. Fiorentina may also of beat Milan earlier in the season 3-1 at San Siro but I can see Milan really wanting to turn them over as that result really hurt them. AC Milan to win - 2.6 BetVictor

Re: Serie A > 3rd - 8th April Pescara is worst team in Serie A and Juve is expecting Bayern on wednesday so I guess they will combinate squad and rest some of important players plus Juve is known as good defensive teams so for me this looks like under 3.5 goals @ 1.55

Pescara are definitely relegating and have a disastrous record away from home. Even if Juventus rest some of their players I believe they will win the game by at least 2 goals and very like to NIL - Juventus to win to 0 @ 1.61

Re: Serie A > 3rd - 8th April The Derby della Capitale is upon us! This heated clash has produced 2.2 goals per game and quite a few red cards in the recent history. As this match could prove as a decider for chances in Europe next season, I expect both teams to be willing to do all they can in order not to lose points here. Lazio fielded rather mixed side against Fenerbahce and we could expect as strong as possible lineup tonight. Roma had whole week to prepare for this derby and fatigue of Lazio players and recent inconsistency might prove as key factor in this match. I expect goals, over 2.5 is 1.8 @ bet365. Will also put some small stake for red card to be shown, odds are around 2.33.

Re: Serie A > 3rd - 8th April Roma to win @ 2.00 Lazio played in Turkey 4 days ago and on thursday they are playing again in EL so they are mixing their squad. In first part of season they beat Roma 3-2 but Roma play more then 50 minutes with 10 players. Roma playing much better since Zeman left club and they need win here so they still have chance to qualify for CL. Players are rested and no big injuries.
