Aidymac
Celian - Huntingdon 4:10 Did refuse last time out but is a course winner and a distance winner and won a 3 mile heavy ground hurdle at Uttoxeter in December. Seems to either put in a cimplete shocker of a run or else it wins as it has 3 wins and 1 place from 17 runs. Form at Huntingdon reads 1st and Pulled-up from 2 runs so it depends which horse were going to see tomorrow but if its on a going day has every chance. Won at 16/1 and 12/1 previously so im getting on the 16/1 for tomorrow. 1 Point win @ 16/1 (VC) BOG

wizzkid walter
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 8:40 Kempton - Reachforthebucks - Back He ran 2 days ago at Southwell, was backed as though defeat was out of the question and indeed proceeded to prove that was indeed the case. He won with any amount in hand and the fact he is turned out so quickly on a different surface suggest that connections are keen to make hay while the sun shines. He looks chucked in here and looks a relatively simple task, and it's difficult to see any resut other than a straightforward win for him here 1pt win @ SP BH, due to the close proximity to his last run, I'd like to post a reserve here just in case as he runs in the last race of the day (apologies for picking the latest one by the way) and I won't be able to re-post if he's withdrawn: 3:15 Southwell - Luck Of The Draw - Back Racked up a juicy hat-trick a few weeks ago in very impressive style. Has been given a nice break since to re-charge the batteries, but will still be in perfect race condition and should take a world of beating here. Eseej in great form but he'll have to go some to beat a riva far less exposed than himsef here 1pt win @ SP
BKI Punter
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 3:35 Huntingdon Minella Class 1pt win - 4/7 (Bet365) Don't expect this price to last. Showed a good turn of foot to win in desperate ground lto and that sets the bar here. Will love the soft ground and should head to Cheltenham unbeaten. Henderson horses are still firing too. Despite everything here winning lto, nothing has shown the level of form needed to topple Minella Class on soft ground. Won't be surprised to see this horse go off at 1/4. Trotter
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb Sou 4.20 - Takajan - win at 9/2 BOG with Wm Hill Has scored all 3 of his career wins over this CD, and surprisingly for a Southwell class 5 handicap with 10 runners, there's only 2 CD winners in the field Still relatively lightly raced wth 27 career runs and has the kind of profile i like in a handicap - he's on a higher mark than his last win but a lower mark than his last run Given that he's better here at Southwell his last run, at Wolves, was pretty good. Although he finished 4th he was beaten just over a length and has been dropped a couple of pounds.
twinny
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 0.5 e/w northern dare @ sp kempton 7.10 northern dare will probably go off as the outsider of this 5 runner field, will probably only be 7 or 8/1 which shows how close these 5 horses will be,i think northern dare will at least grab a place ,1st or 2nd as was a beaten favourite last time out but only beat by half a lenght,it has won class 3 and class 4 races in the past so this class 6 race is well within its scope, with its last run being only yesterday 2nd of 6 connections must think its got a chance
andyjkmak
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 4.50 Soutwell Bel Cantor has slipped to a very low mark but the biggest factor for me here is the step up in trip. With Carson back on board must have every chance now at this distance and may well try and make all. 1 Pt win 10/1 Hills
BillyHills
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 200 Huntingdon: Naughty Naughty (4/1 Bet365) The novice races today are not great from a betting point of view as the two that I fancy are both long odds on. In the first at Huntingdon Naughty Naughty is a tentative selection to upset Line Freedom who has fell the last twice. AP takes the ride unfortunatley so the price isnt what it should be I suppose but she's a consistant sort and still backable at 4/1. She has ran well in the soft before but wouldnt want any more rain to be honest, she has tried this trip before and stayed well over slightly shorter previously, she wants holding up for a late run too and hopefully they will go a good pace around here like they usually do. Irishbugger
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 4.20pm @ Southwell 'Where's Riley' 9/4 (ladbrokes) Staying on well and punted on last twice over a furlong shorter, the step up will suit judged on how it's ran those races. Looked primed for a win last time, nothing much to beat today, stable usually know when their turn is coming and I fancy it to be today. 1 point win
zoolander
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb Kempton 7:40 Exceedingly Bold 25-1 BET365(BOG) 0.5pts EW Bit of a risky selection but if this horse runs well fresh then i think he may be a springer here. New connections have taken this horse on which was running in much better company(off a mark of 92) at one stage so he has pedigree. Hasnt been running on his optimum trip or surface recently so i think the 7f on the quick polytrack will suit this horse down to the ground. Trainer not in the bets of form but the Jockey is more than capable and as i said, if this horse runs well fresh its a class above this lot. Another one that could go well at a big price is Rapid Water, he fits a similar bill although is not proven at this distance but i think he will like the extra furlong. awooga
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb Ayr 5.00 - Noir Et Vert 1 pts win @ 5/2 with Bet365 Hasn't won for while (2007) but did split two horses here when second at Overton in a points race and is better off at weights then the winner of that race today. Would need a big effort still to overturn the fav but def should be involved if the fav fails to fire.

Jimmy2shoes
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb The pick today beat a Mullins hot pot 1/2 last time out at a cracking price of 25/1. He's very lightly raced with only the 6 runs against his name winning three of them. He should love the ground today and i cant see the trip being any problem to him. Trainer Kieran Purcel will fancy this race and i also thought it was more than a coincidence that the race is in memory of Michael. I wish them the VERY best of luck. Thurles 3:30 Smokey Joe Joe. 0.5 e/w bet 50/1 & PP Hope they have a special day.
chris34
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 4.20 Southwell Takajan didnt appear to win with much left when last seen on fibresand but does have a good record and not that far away off a 2lb higher mark round Wolves so has to be worth noting with such a good record around here 3 from 7 over CD! Wheres Reiley is another with a very good record here with 4 wins from 11 starts, all in a short period of time last year over 5f, just as effective over 6f and a sign that he has been slowly returning to form recently with improve efforts on the fibresand staying on over 5f here last time out and well worth another try at 6f. Runs off same mark aswell which is 6lb below last winning mark. The one for the saver has to be Interchoice Star, who proved he is effective around this course when 2nd over 6f last time out, when staying on and shaped as if a race might be round the corner for him for all he doesnt look particularly well treated. 1pt win Wheres Reiley 9/4 hills

Bathtime For Rupert
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 4.20 Southwell - 1pt win Takajan @ 7/2 (PaddyPower) Course and distance specialist who remains on a winnable mark of 69. Ran well off 71 at Wolverhampton last time behind Excellent Show. Prior to that, won a shade cosily to useful Southwell horse Elusive Fame, drawing clear of the 3rd horse. 1216631 represents Takajan's form over course and distance, and looks capable of adding another win to that tally today. Verisimilitude
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb Tisfreetdream 4.10 Huntingdon. 0.5 points each way. Last time showed he's starting to take more of an interest, and gets into this off a mark of 112 (same as last time). Can do better than last time, likes the soft ground and trip, so appears to have every chance of a win. I'll take the 12/1 with William Hill. cc75
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 4.50 Southwell: Elusive Warrior 1pt win @ 9/1 Bet365 BOG Has been performing well in sellers last couple of runs, the form of those probably not too bad given the weight the horse ran from. Before that ran creditably enough in a class 4 handicap - this a lot easier than that contest and this multiple C&D winner could finally get over the line in front from a mark 4lbs lower than highest winning (last year). Beginning of the year got the upper hand against Buaiteoir by a neck who went on to win a class 4. Hip Hip Hooray went up to 71 finishing 4 1/2L behind in a handicap and then a length in a claimer. Losing 2lbs for today and dropping a furlong with a 7lb claimer onboard. 0.5pt EW 8/1 V/C
south_eastern_ram
Re: BBOTD - 24th of Feb 7.40 Kempton - Double Carpet 10/1 VC E/W I've read from a few sources that a predicted decent pace should be on here, now a big field normally equates to this but i can only see 2 potential front runners in the field in the 2 i've selected above. Double Carpet can happily chase leaders and Tewin Wood will either lead or be up there. A few of these at the head of the market are well worth opposing at their current prices in my opinion, Yes Chef in particular massively underpriced. Double Carpet is still lightly raced over this trip and has been running well of late. Only recently stepped up to 7f again his form read 3-1-2, the most recent being a decent run. He looked the winner a furlong or so out before being caught by the progressive Steed who's gone on to win twice since. Also in that race Tasmeem won next time out and Diapason placed behind him. He's got a good draw here to sit handy on the rail and the stable have had a good start to 2011.

I don't know much about this field. I can't see why she could be this price unless they know she's going to 'come on a lot for the run'. I'll chance it as it's only a competition and i think she can run a good race.
