Running off 80 and just getting to gripsat 6F. 8/1 15:00 Ripon Almond Branches - Been running off 77 in handicap company losing 3lb's which looks a fair mark with stable firing 3/9. 5/1 16:20 Epsom Primo Lady - Dropping in class and down to 80 which is lowest mark and finished 2nd off in June. However think this horses extra racecourse experience will tell and really fancy this one to go in today. 15/8 3.45 Chester: English Summer Reasoning as per BBOTD 9/1 4.20 Chester: One Scoop or Two Drawn hasn't been kind, however this horse will make for the front at the start anyway so all depends here on a sharp start to get prime position irrespective of draw. If breaks well, then could be more to come after a massive step up LTO when dictating affairs over this trip in a fair handicap at Haydock last week. 6/1 4.50: Midsummer Sun Marked step down in class here having blown out in a group 3 LTO, however maiden win when destroying the field (couple won handicaps since) puts this horse bang there from what could be a lenient opening mark. Softer ground will help him and he was 2nd in the MCR hurdle off just 3lb lower in 2009. On that form he has a chance today and Ruby Walsh glove treatment could see him run a good race today. __________________ 14:20 Ayr Sonny Red - Has recently tumbled down the ratings from 92 in May to 67 for today. With Shirley taking another 7lbs off I think this horse is carrying no weight for a class 5. Was 2nd in the silver cup here last year off 89 and last won off 96. Running in group races as a 3 year old. Does have a bad draw but I think the give in the ground will do him no end of favours and 18/1 15:50 Ayr Amethyst Dawn - Enjoys the cut in the ground and is 4lb lighter than when last winning. 7F LTO got the better of him so the drop to 6F will help. Jeannie Galloway - Ran great race at Ayr the other day when just beaten, was first in the group on her side by a couple of lengths. Thought it was one to keep an eye out for next time didn't think it would be so soon though Tae Kwon Do - Ran well last time when 2nd even though he pulled too hard most of the race, has great chance if settling better here. DanceWithTheDevil - Been out form for some time now and is 14 lbs below last winning mark as a result, ran better last time out and if building on that with more experienced jockey today has a decent chance. The Wifes Pet - Good performace last twice when 2nd to the favourite here today Taratata Sivola, i think he can reverse the places with that rival today being slightly better at the weights and hopefully avoid any late mistakes like hitting 3 out which may have cost him the race that time also was cut off a little on the run in.

Re: 2011 Challenge - Multiples target 1000pt return 2 winners and 2 very dissapointing earlier only return just over my stake so i'll try again for tomorrow E-W Lucky 15 - Hills 4:00 Kempton - SADAFIYA - 2 wins and 2 2nds on the AW from 4 starts. Ran well here when 2nd lto and should be involved again. 6/1 3:50 Leicester - SOHRAAB - Pretty consistant recently off around this mark in better races than this can go close. 13/2 4:40 Hamilton - CAPTAIN SCOOBY - All wins have come with cut in the ground so the going should suit today, is 4 lb lower than last win which was this race last year and ran well enough last time on unfavourable ground and didn't get the best of runs at a vital stage of the race. 8/1 5:00 Kempton - LOYALTY - Usually runs well here like when short head 2nd 3 runs back off 2 lb lower, tough task latest in a class 2 so should be better suited back in this grade today has plum draw. 9/1

I'll try another for tomorrow E-W lucky 15 - Hills 3:40 Newton Abbot - FROSTED GRAPE - Ran a great race last time stepped up to this trip when only just beaten by TEMPLER staying on well at the finish, looked to be a real stayer which you wouldn't think on pedigree. Relatively unexposed 3 wins and 2 2nds from 8 starts over fences so could be more to come at this trip, jumps well and ground no problem. 9/2 4:20 Folkestone - LIFETIME - Raced wide all the way round Chester lto and could never really get on terms, won a maiden well before that and is worth another chance. 13/2 3:20 Folkestone - ROMANTIC WISH - Running well recently, this race looks less competetive than last time when doing best work towards the finish. 4/1 5:10 Newton Abbot - PICOT DE SAY - Not shown much of hurdles for some time until most recent run 3 1/2 length 5th, has dropped fair bit in the weights and is 6 lbs less than for last win over hurdles. Rain is forecast which poses no problem for the selection and could help if being an inconvenience for some of his rivals if getting into the ground by 5:10. 14/1
