Germany are another team that look poor to me though. I still think Germany/Spain beats England though. 25/1 on a player who has 15 in 21 looks an easy e/w bet. We all know Germany find a way alot of the time.

I was going to say similar. I think people like Holland because of their easy group, but they look utter dross.Which is more so why I think Italy should stroll to the last 8.

It would be typical of Werner to be top scorer after looking so average in the Premier League.
I'll be taking Griezmann. Came 2nd to Kane at the World Cup and I can't see England making the last 4, even. I see France as the clear favourites. The only worry/downside is that they have a tough group. 
The other that I'm going for is Lukaku. Finished 3rd at the World Cup and with some of the talent behind him, even I could score a bag full of goals

I would say France are my favourites. I'm not too keen on backing favourites though, so I think Italy are the best value. Proven "knock-out" team for me. They have played poorly in group stages in the past, but when it comes down to it, seem to have that mental strength. They're playing some of the best football we've seen from Italy in some time and have a nice draw. I would expect them to make the latter stages.
I'm also taking a little outsider bet on Denmark. I think they can make the last 8. People think I'm mad, and perhaps they're right, but, after looking through the draw and seeing such brilliant defensive displays against England (beat us 1-0 and drew 0-0) I think they're worth an each-way couple quid.

I would say France are my favourites. I'm not too keen on backing favourites though, so I think Italy are the best value. Proven "knock-out" team for me. They have played poorly in group stages in the past, but when it comes down to it, seem to have that mental strength. They're playing some of the best football we've seen from Italy in some time and have a nice draw. I would expect them to make the latter stages.
I'm also taking a little outsider bet on Denmark. I think they can make the last 8. People think I'm mad, and perhaps they're right, but, after looking through the draw and seeing such brilliant defensive displays against England (beat us 1-0 and drew 0-0) I think they're worth an each-way couple quid.

It would be typical of Werner to be top scorer after looking so average in the Premier League.
I'll be taking Griezmann. Came 2nd to Kane at the World Cup and I can't see England making the last 4, even. I see France as the clear favourites. The only worry/downside is that they have a tough group. 
The other that I'm going for is Lukaku. Finished 3rd at the World Cup and with some of the talent behind him, even I could score a bag full of goals

2) Players will also nominate four teams from the competition in order of their main fancy being the No 1 choice
Scoring
In the group matches, by predicting a correct score you are in effect forecasting 3 main outcomes :
: - the actual result, whether or not both teams will score and if the game has under or over 2.5 goals
Points will be awarded as follows for all the 36 group matches :
3pts for the correct result of the game (1, X, 2)
1pt for correctly predicting if both teams score (or not)
1pt for correctly predicting under or over 2.5 goals
1pt BONUS for every correct score predicted
E.G,
Prediction 2-1 - actual result 3-0 = score 4pts (3pts for home win, 1pt for over 2.5)
Prediction 0-0 - actual result 0-1 = score 2pts (1pt for under 2.5, 1pt for both teams to score? No!)
Prediction 3-1 - actual result 4-2 = score 5pts (3pts for home win, 1pt over 2.5, 1pt both teams to score? Yes!)
