Glad to see active discussion and analysis about tennis betting here in Punterslounge; not many forums around where can be found actual talk from this point of view.

As a Finnish I’m looking forward Majchrzak - Ruusuvuori tonight. Ruusuvuori is a clear favourite here, as a pretty fresh rising newcomer on ATP Tour, and anything but win is huge upset for him. Emil played on Semi-Finals in Winston-Salem couple of days ago and five games in week may affect his fatigue, that have been quite his issue in his early career. Secondly this year’s court seem to be bit slowish that not favour Ruusuvuori who is at his best to hit on fast rising bouncing balls. To add, (mentally) Ruusuvuori is quite unconsistent player inside games and sets; especially he needs to be improved in serving consistency to not give so much break ball opportunities for opponent. Usually we see lot of breaks in his games.
So what I like here and expect is that is going to be straight 3 setter for neither player. Odds are not that great for sure, you can find over 3,5 sets priced around 1,60-1,70 depending on bookies. Points explained above; 1) Emil’s current fatigue, 2) court conditions and 3) Emil’s unconsistency inside a game I expect this match to be like 1-3, 2-3 win for Ruusuvuori.
Don’t take this too seriously though, just wanted to share some thoughts about this game as a Finnish, who likes to follow Ruusuvuori’s ATP-tennis journey after our only ATP-player Jarkko Nieminen retired his career years ago

It's great that you won't come back because you are being rude and biased because you were banned before when you deserved it. You had chances then but didn't take them. Czech welcomes everyone as long as they are not rude. To hope someone keep on losing is even more pathetic and childish.

I think I've seen something like that at Skybet/Paddy Power/BetVictor before, but these offers usually pop up just before a Grand Slam. So next week, maybe?

    M. Ymer - Verdasco 4.7 Matchbook
Verdasco's indoor hard winning record is around 55%. He is strugling to find his best form except clay tournaments in 2016. Ymer is a future star. He showed earlier this season that he is capable to beat higher rated players on clay. Yesterday he played with his brother on doubles and scored a surprising win with 5.5 odds so seems both are liking the surface. It's the home tournament for Ymer and last year he was close to beat Alex Zverev here. The dude loves to play indoor so I think he will take at least one set, but the winning odds are sweet.

Back Daria Gavrilova to beat Angelique Kerber at 4.00 with BetVictor
Not getting a grip on things in Shanghai and I don't see anything there for Friday, so I'll go with this one in Hong Kong. It's essentially a value play based. Not only does Kerber seem to be trying new things in this tournament, but she also doesn't seem to be giving it her best in terms of energy, at least if the match against Chirico was anything to go by. Considering that Radwanska just withdrew due to the WTA Finals closing in and Kerber doesn't really need to chase any points either, Gavrilova is worth taking at 4.00 imo.

Back Lucas Pouille to beat Yen-hsun Lu at 1.53 with Skybet
Perhaps I'm missing something here and Lu obviously tends to be above his par in Asia, but let's treat Pouille with respect I would say. He had a massive US Open and he's already backed that up with a big tournament win, so I think that he should be ready to push on against a weaker opponent. Fatigue shouldn't be an issue either, as he didn't play last week.
Back Kyle Edmund to beat Guillermo Garcia-Lopez at 1.62 with Skybet
GGL is one of my favourite players, but he's been in such a rot lately that I'm not sure that he will recover until the end of this season. He's playing without much confidence and that's what's pulling him down, while Edmund seems to be on the opposite trajectory really. He had some bad matches in the Davis Cup, but he's already put that behind himself by qualifying for the main draw here, so I very much fancy his chances against the out-of-form Spaniard.

Back Jonathan Eysseric to beat Petr Michnev at 1.80 with Paddy Power
Fancy Eysseric quite strongly in this one, I don't rate Michnev too much as a player and that's despite his half-decent run here already. Eysseric was lucky to get through the previous round, but this is going to be a massive step down from Granollers and I wouldn't have him above 1.57.

Back Jerzy Janowicz to beat Nikoloz Basilashvili at 1.57 with BetVictor
Janowicz is slowly getting back to his regular form, he's just won a Challenger in Janov where he beat Almagro in the finals, so I quite fancy his chances against Basilashvili, who's been very average in recent times. The home conditions are also bound to help Janowicz, so I'd have him somewhere around the 1.33 mark really.

Back Lauren Davis to beat Samantha Crawford at 1.53 with BetVictor
Crawford might have a fitting style for the surface that's on offer in Quebec, but I expect Davis to out-class her nonetheless, as she's done very well so far with three solid wins under her belt. She's now getting back to where she once was and she's always ad quite a bit of talent imo, while Crawford is just way too hit-or-miss right now. She was hitting the ball well against Bencic in the US Open, but she was poor before that and she didn't convince anyone in her match against Bonaventure either.

    Mens Singles Final :
    Novak Djokovic vs Stanislas Wawrinka
Over 39.5 games 10/11 paddy power
Over 3.5 sets 4/7 paddy power
Djokovic to win 3-1 14/5 paddy power
Tie break in the first set 5/2 paddy power
Djokovic to have the Most Aces least Doubles faults and win the match 5/1 paddy power
Djokovic to win the match and both players to win a set 5/4 paddy power
I think this match will be tough for Djokovic as his opponent is just coming back into form and with each round, he is getting better and better and he is getting close to getting back to his best. If it is hot and humid it could affect Djokovic as he does not cope as well as his opponent, so him losing a set will probably happen and if his opponent is back to his best, then expect a five set classic

    Alright, finals time.
Not betting on anything in the women's, the odds look about right to me and I've got Kerber at 9.00, so I'll hope that it will come in and round it all off nicely.
    As for the men's...
Back Stanislas Wawrinka to beat Novak Djokovic at 3.40 with Bet365
Neither guy is looking particularly fit and I'm not sure that we're going to get the match we deserve in a Grand Slam final, but the odds dictate that Wawrinka is the play here. He's been upping his level constantly, he's been tested on at least two tough occasions, and I'd also say that he's got the mental edge here, albeit only a slight one. Djokovic the favourite, but I wouldn't back him below the 1.50 mark.

US Open Tennis: Agnieszka Radwanska - Ana Konjuh

Ana Konjuh bacame the youngest player in almost a decade to win a main tour event last year, she was a great junior, winning both the Australian and US Opens, that title here in New York was hard earned and she had to beat Ostapenko, Bellis and Chirico , three players who have made a huge impact in the seniors recently, just to make the semis. She has already faced today's opponent, the world number 4, Agnieszka Radwanska, at Wimbledon in the summer, losing 9-7 in the 3rd, even that scoreline doesn't quite tell the full story, Konjuh would have won had she not picked up an injury during the match and even then had match points, including one which hit the net and hung in the air for (seemingly) seconds before deciding to drop on the "wrong" side for the young Croatian.

We have not seen much of her since, but she won four matches in New Haven in build up and has looked good here and has been serving big, pretty much almost on a par with Naomi Broady who had Radwanska in trouble early in their second round match up, winning 30 of 40 points on first serve despite losing the second set 6-3. I have nothing but admiration for Radwanska who is the most intelligent of players and has an incredible defence and always plays to her strengths, but she is never going to blast anyone off court and I think there will be a few cheap points for Konjuh, who will mix things up and come to the net and she is not without a chance if she just does a little better with her second serve than she did at the All England Club. Agnie in three again would not surprise, but this total line could easily be covered in two and has to be the way to go.

Back Rebecca Peterson to beat Anhelina Kalinina at 1.44 with Ladbrokes
First match for Kalinina for more than a year (!) due to an injury, so it's really hard for me to believe that she can win this. She did crush Peterson when they last met, but Peterson has made a lot of progress since then and has some good results in this season, while Kalinina has been sitting on the sidelines and that must have taken its toll. There's a similar match in Pfizemaier-Strakhova, but Pfizemaier was a top player before her injury, so I'm a bit afraid of that. Kalinina wasn't, however.
