I feel as though I've got a decent read on this tournament so far since I jumped in a little bit late, but now with a bit of a foothold.. I was really impressed with Sakkari in her last match. The shots she was hitting, movement, and the quality of opponent are all high points, and I think she does a little bit better than Pegula on this surface especially considering she made the finals last year, and seems to be completely in form. I thought Petra played average today, and I am concerned that she could play better but ulitmately her serve is not reliable enough to back, and Maria seems motivated to keep going.  It's a bit of an entertainment bet for me if I"m being honest.  I don't think there's crazy value on this, but I am trying to adjust my betting strategy to include more conservative bets like these, and build my bankroll in alternate ways.  Good luck guys!

I saw Frech against Collins last week, and she had every chance of causing an upset there, really, so I'm not quite sure why she's at this price against Montgomery, who's yet to do anything on the big stage. I rate French a level above, honestly, so this price looks really good to me, I wouldn't have her above 1.57.

Well, she didn't let me down in the first round, so hopefully she'll deliver in the second round as well. Krueger is only a bit better than Montgomery imo, and I'd against not have Frech above the 1.65 or so mark here.

I have no idea why Stearns is the favorite here. She might have some sort of a home advantage, as she apparently studies nearby, but she was lucky that both of her previous opponents simply didn't show up, while Volynets has already recorded two very legitimate victories here. At odds against, I'm happy to go with the player that I rate much higher.

I would probably go with Bublik against Hurkacz today at 2.3 or at least to win a set at 1.55. Watched the matches of both players on this tournament and Hurkacz doesn't look the same as last year. He is playing fine but he looks slow and is not making much winners. Bublik on the other hand won against Grisho with many aces and a lot of short balls which are going to be hard for Hurkacz I think. If Bublik doesn't make so much unforced errors I think he is the more in form player rn.
