Re: Market Rasen ~ Sunday
And mine fell early on - I did say a chance taken over new obstacles but I had hoped for better. Lets hope nobody had too much on this thread.5:05 ... Big John Macarthy (12/1 Various) Very open contest with the selection a value pick to place at double figures - chance taken with debut chase but has the ability. -
Re: Aelara's downfall?? Personally speaking Aelara I think your figures are amazing given the way the weather has been. I've been trialing a few systems myself and to date all of them are showing a slight loss for 2007 that have previously been profitable every previous year. I'm sure things will turn around but I guess what I'm trying to say is that to be on target is a great achievement. :ok

Re: Chester 05/08/07 2:00 ... Lady Rochbonne (11/2 various) Followed up a good debut 4th with a great run LTO leading until well inside the last furlong and finishing a close 2nd. Has a great chance here and can use her early speed to best advantage from a favourable draw.
-
Re: Sunday EW Fancies 3:25 Market Rasen ... Ruby Dante (8/1 bet365) Consistent and improving type who won impressively LTO - has won at this distance and the ground is no problem. Trainer has a good strike rate at this track and horse and jockey know each other well - sure to go well.

Re: Saturdays EW Fancies 04/08/07 5:25 Thirsk .... El Potro (6/1 bet365) Not out of the frame in the last 6 starts with a much deserved victory last time out only 6 days ago in a class better than this - although never run at Thirsk before the easier track will help and looks set to follow up and surely place for a free one IMHO.
-
Re: Fridays EW Fancies 03/07/07 4:25 Thirsk .... Steel Blue .... (6/1 Bet365) Ran a good race at Carlisle last time out when second behind a bang-in-form opponent - off a good mark and is sure to improve - Trainer is in good form with a good jockey booked, and local course to yard all helps.

Re: Thirsk 03/07/07 4:25 Thirsk .... Steel Blue .... E/W 6/1 Ran a good race at Carlisle last time out when second behind a bang-in-form opponent - off a good mark and is sure to improve - Trainer is in good form with a good jockey booked, and local course to yard all helps. Free one E/W at forecast 6/1

Re: Massey in August
I can understand the hesitation as some may argue that if you'd have had a good start you wouldn't be changing anything. But ....... August is a filter and as was clearly stated above that they won't be ACTUAL bets - it may seem that a couple of days either way may not seem to make a difference but a system is a system and was worked out within those cut offs - it's akin to saying only back 3yo's and then promptly adding in a couple of 2yo's for good measure. Plus at the end of the month you'll have accurate figures - all IMHO Danny don't want to sound preachy or lecturing :ok.Well not unless we're in August tomorrow Kanga. ;) I can put them up tomorrow for you if you'd like although they won't be ACTUAL bets? -
Re: Massey in August In fairness Danny - I think you should start counting from August 1st you made it clear it was an August System - IMHO anybody staking earlier was taking a personal risk and is no fault of the system.
-
Re: Musselburgh 2nd August selections 7:45 Muss ... Linden's Lady E/W Likes Todays going and has run creditably on her two appearances here this year - Out of 4 career wins 3 have been in August - Trainers in good form and I feel confident she is sure to make the frame - and a free one E/W at 6/1

Re: Aelara's downfall?? Awesome tipping Aelara - thought Bel Cantor was going to do it as well.
-
Re: Quick System Allesandro's a Non -Runner - so we have a qualifier :hope
-
Re: Glorious Goodwood DAY 1 5:40 Goodwood .... Vicious Warrior E/W @ 25/1 Trainers in great form and Jockey has a great record at Goodwood Carried topweight in heavy ground to victory last time out 17 days ago. Great place chance at big odds.

Re: Aelara's downfall?? Very unlucky not to get the double - just lost it on the nod.
-
Re: Aelara's downfall?? Chin up Mate :ok As time goes on the systems will level themselves out to the yields posted at the start of the system - trouble is that I hoped it would be a gradual process :loon. If it helps I run 5 systems and only 1 was profitable - tough day !!
-
Re: Massey in August Any qualifiers for tomorrow Danny ? :loon

Re: Longest Traveller 'System'
Sorry Ted just the info above.Good info:ok But is it possibe to get the stats e/w for this? CHEER'S -
Re: Aelara's downfall?? Another profitable day Aelara - albeit very small but a profit nonetheless :ok

Re: Longest Traveller 'System' Found this Nehemiah - hints that this would be profitable.
System 11: Long Travellers
Rules: Results based on 5pt wins (50 bets): Total stakes: 250 pts Total returns: 303.36 pts Profit +53.36 pts
Bet the horse travelling the longest distance of the day, provided that there is only one qualifier. If the longest trip of the day is being made by more than one horse there is no bet. System applies to UK races only. Staking: 5pts to win on each selection. Logic: Horses don't normally travel alone for extreme distances unless they are thought to have a reasonable chance of success. Sometimes, when a stable or training centre already have a few representatives making the trip it isn't a hardship to include one or two more, but sole representatives on long journeys tend to be on a mission. -
Re: Longest Traveller 'System' Good luck with this Nehemiah - Similar sentiments to Aliando in that when a longest traveller is a sole traveller - often trainers will have 2 horses "in the box" for a journey - when a horse is travelling all that way on it's own would "suggest" a stronger chance.

Re: Luke Morris Sadly now a Non-Runner Danny - 4 runs booked only 1 remains and is a filly - but looks good to place IMHO at 8/1

Re: Luke Morris Another one worth keeping an eye on is William Buick another 5lb claimer and is superb on the A/W.

Re: Sunday EW Fancies Thanks Fatz, I'm looking for what I call "free ones" around the 5/1 -8/1 mark that should place to get your stake back and yet stands a good chance of winning for a nice profit - has worked out nicely lately.
