Masterful ride by Ryan Moore to take it on the line ....I'll add the 100 to the carryover win last week of 205 and 45 the last couple days that makes 350 and I can get a ps5 which was the target 😀 for 351 from argos with my family's 10% discount ....so that's another prize completed 😀
Start afresh next week

vikki37 got a reaction from harry_rag in Betfred World Matchplay
Heehee don't worry. I always say I definitely curse people on here as when I bet slightly more than usual on their tips, they end up losing🤣🤣 but when I bet tiny bets, they win 😂😂

vikki37 reacted to Fader in Betfred World Matchplay
Seems like this has come back around very quickly. How time flies. The World Matchplay is a huge event. Only the Worlds would get more appeal really. I mentioned last year that it's normally won by 'big' players and that happened once again last year, with MVG beating Price in the final.
It kicks off July 15th and runs til 23rd July, at the Winter Gardens. It's a much longer leg format and that will be part of the reason that the very best normally win this one.
I think the best bet comes in the shape of Van Den Bergh. He has the best draw and you can get 28/1 for him in some places. If we divide the draw into sections and we look to the likely winner then we see M.Smith in 1, Price in 2, MVG in 4 and Van Den Bergh in 3. This section has Clayton (who I thought about), Searle, Gilding, RVB. Whilst I can see Clayton beating Van Den Bergh, I just don't think you can ignore the past success that Van Den Bergh has had, here.
I'll take 2 from the top half and 2 from the bottom half. I was temped with Dobey after some decent performances at the Players Championship. I am also keen to see how De Sousa performs. In reality though, I think Van Den Bergh is some solid value.
interesting that Betfred are going 4 places for this (1/4th off the odds instead of 1/2) but in an event where it's normally won by a big player that doesn't interest me.
2pts e/w Van Den Bergh to win World Matchplay 28/1 William Hill
1.5pt e/w Chisnall to win World Matchplay 25/1 William Hill
-----------------------------------------------
0.75pts e/w Cullen to win World Matchplay 80/1 Skybet
0.75pts e/w Gilding to win World Matchplay 150/1 Paddypower

vikki37 reacted to Fader in Championship League 2023
I'm patiently waiting for the real snooker and the start of the new season and have largely ignored this Championship League but now we're getting close to finishing the first stage, it's abit easier to get an idea of the final 8 (my opinion)
I actually think we'll see a standard K.Wilson / Trump or Williams final but the value is most certainly in the first section which in my opinion would house these 4 (winner goes to the final) :
Guodong
Saengkham
K.Wilson
M.White / Long Zehaung
With this in mind I'll take a bet on both Guodong and Saengkham. Tiny bet on big outsider Long, who beat Ali Carter and topped his group in the first round.
1pt e/w Saengkham to win Championship League 20/1 William Hill
1pt e/w Guodong to win Championship League 22/1 William Hill
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0.25pts e/w Long Zehaung to win Championship League 80/1 Bet365

Brittania 5.00 asc
Finns charm 8.5 40/1
Saxon King 8.5 18/1
Royal Cape 8.3 22/1
Betterdayscomin 8.1 25/1
Docklands 7.8
Surely not 7.7
Incredibly difficult race as you can tell by betting ... .bookies going 16/1 2nd fav !!!....so its gotta be worth a punt ..... biggest factor i have is I think 12 /24 winners were drawn within 5 of either rail .(50%) .....un fortunately all top 4 are all drawn within 5 ...noooo....but huge prices and stats are in their favour so I'll try 10pt wins all 4 and hope a nice win is on the cards 👍

The big handicap on the opening day of Royal Ascot is the Ascot Stakes.
This heritage handicap is open to horses aged four years or older. It is run over 2 miles, 3 furlongs and 210 yards. The off time is 17.00.
20 go to post and with many bookmakers offering 6 places it makes it an excellent betting proposition.
I have looked at the statistics over the last 9 years and these are my key conclusions.
Older horses have by far the best record with 7- to 9-year-olds having 6 wins from 44 runs and a profit of 127 points at Betfair Starting Price. The remainder have just 3 wins from 127 runs with a loss of 79 points.
It is best to side against those horses with obvious form. Horses that finished in the 1st 6 last time have recorded 4 wins from 123 runs with a loss of 74 points.
Ideally the horse should have had a reasonable rest from its last race. Horses that last ran between 37 and 94 days ago have a record of 7 wins from 76 runs with a profit of 123 points.
Only 1 horse matches these criteria.
EAST ASIA 100/1
I suggest backing this each way with bookmakers offering 6 places.

Always scratch my head a bit when I end up with the outsider in the field but the stats have worked for me over the years so you have to keep the faith

Tomorrows quarter final draw
England v Germany
Scotland v France
Wales v Sweden
Belgium v Australia
Anything but an England wales final please. For sake of me. Germany Australia final would be perfect but in reality, at this point I think it will be England/Scotland v wales/Belgium

My normal MLS accy - https://www.punterslounge.com/football-news/expert-accumulator-mls-tips-17-06-23/
BTTS accy - https://www.punterslounge.com/football-news/expert-btts-accumulator-mls-tips-18-06-23/
just in terms of what's more imminent, tonight (BST) does anybody else think that Columbus looks a good bet? I've added them as the outsider in my accy but I'm tempted to go for them again tonight. Perhaps +0.5 handicap?
I quote "New York City has been on a bit of a loss of form. They’ve not won now in 5 matches and they’ve lost 2 of those games. The biggest worry for them is the lack of goals. They’ve now drawn 0-0 in the last two matches and scored just 3 goals in the last 5 matches. They’re going up against a team that is scoring for fun.
Columbus Crew are the highest scorers in the MLS and have won their last three matches back-to-back. They have scored 9 goals in their last 3 matches. Away from home, the record isn’t so great but they’ve still won 2 from their last 5 and, to be fair to them, they’ve lost against good teams like Nashville or Cincinnati. I think it’s worth siding with Columbus here. They won the last head-to-head by a 3-0 score too.
