I've been struck down with this bug so I haven't done too much research but I still can't wait for tonight. Here is what I'm going with. As I say, I took Humphries a while ago at 9/1. PaddyPower are offering a free bet for every 180 an outright pick has and so I've gone with Bunting at 40/1 with PP, who is hitting plenty of 180s.

3pts Price to win Worlds 6/1 WillHill
    ------------------------------------------------
    2pts e/w Humphries 9/1 Paddypower
    ------------------------------------------------
    1pt e/w Bunting 40/1 Paddypower

    1pt e/w Ross Smith 66/1 Betvictor
    1pt e/w Dobey 66/1 Bet365
    ------------------------------------------------
    0.5pts e/w Clemens 300/1 Skybet
    0.5pts e/w J.Williams 400/1 Skybet

    Hope you fully recover soon.x

Sorry but you've got no chance with this bet as... I've followed you in! :unsure

I see it's a double odds offer and I've got a matched freebie offer today as well so, on a quiet day, it seems a reasonable use of a tenner's worth of "fun" money.

Heehee don't worry. I always say I definitely curse people on here as when I bet slightly more than usual on their tips, they end up losing🤣🤣 but when I bet tiny bets, they win 😂😂

The big handicap on the opening day of Royal Ascot is the Ascot Stakes.

This heritage handicap is open to horses aged four years or older. It is run over 2 miles, 3 furlongs and 210 yards. The off time is 17.00.

20 go to post and with many bookmakers offering 6 places it makes it an excellent betting proposition.

I have looked at the statistics over the last 9 years and these are my key conclusions.

Older horses have by far the best record with 7- to 9-year-olds having 6 wins from 44 runs and a profit of 127 points at Betfair Starting Price. The remainder have just 3 wins from 127 runs with a loss of 79 points.

It is best to side against those horses with obvious form. Horses that finished in the 1st 6 last time have recorded 4 wins from 123 runs with a loss of 74 points.

Ideally the horse should have had a reasonable rest from its last race. Horses that last ran between 37 and 94 days ago have a record of 7 wins from 76 runs with a profit of 123 points.

Only 1 horse matches these criteria.

    EAST ASIA 100/1

I suggest backing this each way with bookmakers offering 6 places.

    Non-runner now☹️☹️

The rain is horrendous here up north.

    -------------------------------------
    1pt e/w Heta 50/1 Paddypower (2 places)
    1pt e/w Gilding 125/1 Paddypower (2 places)
    --------------------------------------
    0.25pts e/w Van Veen 200/1 Paddypower
    0.25pts e/w Woodhouse 200/1 Paddypower
    0.25pts e/w Nentjes 300/1 Paddypower
    0.25pts e/w Doets 300/1 Paddypower

Well done for yesterday!! Today, William Hill offers 4 places.😊😊

The National Hunt season draws to a close with the running of the BET365 Gold Cup at Sandown, known to many of us old timers as the Whitbread Gold Cup. This event was established in 1957 and was the first commercial sponsorship in British sport. The race is run over 3 miles, 4 furlongs and 146 yards. It is open to horses aged 5 years or older and the off time is 14.15.

18 go to post and some bookmakers are offering each-way terms of 6 places which make this a very good betting proposition.

I have looked at the statistics over the last 9 years and these are my key conclusions.

The ideal age is 7. These horses have produced 5 wins from 20 runs with a level stakes profit at SP of 30 points. The remainder have a record of 3 wins from 118 runs and a loss of 54 points.

Horses should have had a reasonable rest. All the winners last ran between 19 and 63 days ago and produced a profit of 22 points from 92 attempts. The remainder had 0 wins from 46 runs.

1st and 2nd favourites have a poor record with 1 win from 24 runs and a loss of 12 points.

Just 2 horses fit these criteria.

    COOLVALLA 16/1

    MUCHO MAS 14/1

I suggest backing these with bookmakers paying 6 places.

I likes these two just by past races and gut feeling but was waiting for someone to tip them as well and then go for it haha🤣🤣

Milkins bet still live. He will take on Group 6 tomorrow and Friday.

Looks like no Mark Williams or Brecel this tournament and so both are returned stake.  Indeed, likely now Carter wont bother either.

I'll be going for a group winner tomorrow if the market gets up quick enough. Milkins/Guodong/Selt one of those 3 for me but we'll see what the markets bring.

    at odds 9.5/1, 9.5/1 and 8.5/1 on bet365

  7. I was in tears with Netherlands last night (second favourite team) knocked out plus going into penalties is heartbreaking I think for any team to lose in that way.?? prepared to be in tears with England tonight too as much as I hope I'm wrong.

I think Morocco has a chance to draw at least. They've done so well and Portugal isn't stable at all even though they won by a huge margin last match. I think it will be a tight match especially in the first half. Went for 0-0 half time. Good luck with the draws and penalties!

:lol Sort of! >2.5 shootouts is weighed in and already settled, 4-5 is currently in (on at 11/2 and 6/1) and 6 or more is looking more likely than the 28/1 and 33/1 I took.

4 or 5 would be the best outcome so I’m hoping for no more than one more but there’s not too much in it. Either way, it’s a decent profit from my antepost bets to offset the likely loss from the game by game bets!

I’m on the draw as usual in today’s games. Inclined to agree Portugal should be fresher and able to see off Morocco, will be looking at the bookings markets in that game. The other game is hard to call, anything could happen and it may be hard to find a price worth arguing with. I’ve had the tenner allowed on a Hill’s double up, 4/1 England qualify and Kane and Mbappe each to have a SoT. If England to qualify is slightly odds against that may just underestimate the chances of the two main men registering a SoT

Having finally managed to win a PL prize I feel a little embarassed taking the winnings so I have decided to donate them to the player who shows the highest annual profit this calendar year. This is currently @kenisbusywith £122 followed by @internetmailswith £112.

Attached is a list of all those who have commendably achieved a profit so far this year. Personally I think this is a truer test of ability than the monthly competitions.

bless you and your beautiful heart x
