I watched the hosts v Atletico and they were very good and disciplined and they've backed that up since with a nice win.

Borussia Dortmund v Benfica
The German side are big favorites coming into the match on the back of some impressive results and goal scoring. Dortmund is a club that has established a firm European pedigree in recent years, whilst they also play in a league that is superior the (a) side. The Portuguese were lucky not to concede 1 or 2 in the home tie and despite them being determined in defense I just can't see them seeing this one out. I was surprised by how poor Benfica were and I expect Dortmund to step up here for their fans. Reus is a big miss but they have great strength in depth in that position.

BLACKBURN V CARDIFF
Blackburn have surprised me under Mowbray so far. Didn't see him having much of an impact at all but he's steadied a shitty ship. They've also interestingly scored in their last 14 matches in all competitions. Cardiff are bang in form and can't stop scoring (scored in 7 of the last 9) and I'm pretty confident both teams will concede here.

Yes, think you could be onto something good here. I have done some research.
In Queer Pikey Rovers last 6 home games they have drawn the corner count 32-32, so nothing really to split the teams.
In Barnsley's last 6 away, they have lost the count 49-21, averaging 3.5 corners per game against the home sides average of  8.1. Even QPR home average is 5.3
i think that they will be set up defensively, and Holloway will have his team pushing forward as they are at home. 
I can't find any corner markets on B365 or BF other than overs/unders? Where did you find your 1.9?
The other game I really like, especially as I just seen both teams play, is Reading V Newcastle.
In their last 6 away games, NEW lead the corner count 27-32, having the most corners in 3/6 games 
In REA last 6 home games, they have lost the count 29-37, averaging just 4.8 corners per game.
They have had the most corners in 1/6 (16%) of their last 6 home matches.
I'd expect NEW to go all out for the win tonight & to get it, playing attacking football, compared to Readings possession based style of play.

Barnsley on the other hand, have the 2nd lowest corner count in the division. QPR give up a fair few at home too but Barnsley sit deep and are compact so I can't see them going heavy into the corner count. Seeing around 1.90 for QPR -1.

I reckon with N'Zonzi missing it might just give Alaves an edge in the middle of the park.
Not brave enough to take Alaves on the (ah) and they don't score a huge amount of goals but I do think they'll give the visitors a hard time tonight.

Good team effort from Alaves tonight. They missed two clear cut chances as well as one or two half chances. Seville just never came out 2nd half and looked out of ideas and exhausted by the end.

Day 50, 51, 52 and 53 - £1855 profit
Not much to update. Couple of pretty standard sessions with good and bad luck. No big wins to talk about though. Had a couple days break and plan to play all day today now. Then won't be playing again until a live £50 game Sunday which I am looking forward to.

Not a fan of historic H2H at all, i only look at the last H2H, unless both teams have had the same managers for a while then its a lot more important imo. I also agree with Icongene in saying that Barnsley are good value, you can get DNB at 2.80 with 888sport!

I saw this interesting fact in H2H between QPR - Barnsley

10-1-0 is score when QPR was host, and in 9 from 11 they scored over 1.5... what do you think about that? Can QPR continue their excelent tradition against Barnsley?

Barnsley look massive to me for a few reasons, one being they're a distance ahead of QPR in the ELOs. 
They're a good side and all their defeats recently have come against decent sides. It seems to me that playing (a) from home since they sold 2 influential players is what the team prefers. 
Barnsley (a) record in 2017 - P7 W3 D2 L2. They don't lose many and despite QPRs recent form I think they can be got at here.
Barnsley DnB at 2.50 looks good.
Also Newcastle to beat Reading is something I'd consider at 2.05 or thereabouts. They've beaten both Brighton and Huddersfield (a) recently and Reading just aren't as good.
EDIT: Sheff Utd are a team that seem to get CONTINUALLY overrated. Their form is really bad and they are an ACCA killer of late. 1 win in 4. 3 wins in 9. That's mid-table form.

Yup, I'll agree with that too. I'll get our ELO ratings automated for next season on this and CL (if possible) and see how they work out.  

There's lots of advantage to that too. The bookies continually overate teams based on reputation/ELOs, such as 3rd place drop outs from the CL who don't take it seriously as the Champions League is their remit.
I agree it's a bit of a minefield but if you take your time, and really do your research, smart betting can make you a nice run to final

UNDER 3 at 1.90 its good for me

I really hate this whole competition because of how patchy the teams are compared to their full strength sides.  
It's time to get some ratings together for this, so we can see their performances and give punters a more informed view, rather than them betting a little blind - of course that doesn't include the shrewdies on PL.  

Im still looking at taking Dortmund ah -1. Kicking myself as I talked myself out of the same bet v Leverkusen at the weekend.
I watched the 1st match and agree totally that Dortmund dominated this match and should have scored at least 1 or 2 goals and the (h) side were lucky to come away with a win. And I had a DnB on Benfica that night so analysed their performance closely.
Dortmund are a level above and even if Benfica score one I can see Borussia taking 3 of them. The Portuguese will definitely try and park the bus but on this stage in the Champions League Dortmund have players who will show up imo.

I watched the first match. Benfica was completely outplayed. They only had one shot on target,from which they've scored. A pretty much lucky goal,if you ask me.
On the other hand - Borussia was excellent, completely dominated the game. Benfiika's goalkeeper has done some wonder saves and Dortmund even missed a penalty.
I have no dilemma here. I think that Borussia will win for sure.
