Either way, Rashford is clearly a better penalty taker. You can't have 2 designated pen takers, you're just asking for trouble every time.

A few words why and where the odds are from is always appreciated. -
Just googled "Jack G's Correct Score System" and found these:
https://forum.punterslounge.com/topic/6684-jack-gs-correct-score-system/
https://forum.punterslounge.com/topic/7032-yet-another-correct-score-system/As you can see, Jack G's original system might even be as old as 20 years ago or more, judging by the EZBoard link posted, which was 1999 and the birth of Punters Lounge.

@Xtc12 That link is a VBulletin link which is our very old forum software dating back to 2002, which is why it doesn't work.
I remember @jackg99 well but his thread was about 10-15 years ago too and I can't see it at all. We do have an archive system for old threads, but changing from VBulletin software to this far superior software was hard work and not everything could be brought across, this thread may well be in that, but like I said it's a very old thread.
I'll check in the archives for you. -

We don't divulge the criteria to get the PM facility as that would defeat the object of why there is criteria, mainly to help against spammers.
Why the urgent need for PM's straight away?

@Pirate53 We don't have results like we do on the horse racing tips because we need to do more odds development first. Once we have all options open to us, then we believe that will be a realistic reflection of performance rather than the limited options at present.
I can pull the stats from the system for anything you want though, nobody is hiding.
We had a clean sweep last night with 7/1, 9/1 and 10/1 winners.

Interesting I thought palable error applied to a bet tho. I cashout and withdrew. So its transaction error? surely they can let a punter lose and walk away with the money back especially 1k! ill let you know soon! Skybet has gone down. Im sure its my bet that caused them to shut the site down.
Yes but if the cashout odds were obviously incorrect, then it's the same rule.

You can cashout at a lot of bookmakers these days, but it's debatable whether you're getting good value when doing so.

Can the bookies stop that withdrawal? or will it go through?
It's possible they use the palpable error rule, but it's all guesswork - you'll soon see.

Well i cashed out as it crossed the line? I have never seen that before? so the race started but it let me cash out close to finishing line?
I don't see any issue here. Horse Racing in play odds are notoriously volatile, so if they allowed you to cash out at better odds (I assume that's what you're getting at?) then that's their fault. As with anything, it's all about terms and conditions, so take a look as they differ with each bookie.

I've read your post twice and I'm still confused.
Regardless of the wrong horse, you placed a £1k bet on it and cashed out. I don't understand why the other horse that you didn't back, has anything to do it? -

Hi @freddie01
I check each one before allowing them any coverage. All are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission too, who are quite strict and massively increased regulations in the last 2 years.

The aim here is to summarise how you think certain teams are doing, good or bad and any surprise packages. More of a general thread, so we'll see how it goes.
Summarising a few teams and their performances below.
Expected Top Teams
Leeds - Small squad but most teams are scared stiff of them because of how well they play, lacking a striker and badly need one or they could possibly miss out on automatic promotion again. Must be better at home breaking down teams that park the bus like Forest did.
Fulham - Overhyped and I'm not convinced at the moment. Unproven manager in probably the most difficult league in the worldCardiff - They seem to have been a little dismissed, but they'll be right up there again in my opinion. Probably the toughest team and manager in the division.
Surprises
Sheff Weds, Charlton & QPR - all started really well and if they can keep those performances up, could surprise, but it's a long season. Worth following for a while.
Mediocre/Struggling
Stoke, Derby, Swansea, Forest - they all look very average in my opinion. You have to score goals in this division, but be relatively tight at the back, they all look too defensive at the moment and you cannot be in that mindset and get in the top 6 at the end of the season.
These are just teams that stood out for me. Don't rip me apart too much! -

Leeds united - nottingham forest (1 - 1)
Lovelly for me defense line the first good thing. sammy ameobi very good offensive efforts put the Leeds defense in the fray. The very good element of the defensive line especially in the staged phases impressed me. If he arrives and stays that way and in the future we will see a very good team in the stadium this year.
Not sure which game you watched, but Leeds totally outplayed them but their lack of an out and out striker continues to hurt them. All Forest did was defend in their own half and try and counter. The ELO Ratings back that giving them a poor 16 rating https://www.punterslounge.com/elo-football-ratings/england-championship-match-ratings/performance

Hi everyone,
I've been following this thread for quite a while and really enjoyed your input here but haven't written anything so far. There is one bet for today that came to my attention, it's Purcell - Soeda (Aptos challenger, hard surface) and I'm wondering why initial odds has dropped so much in favour of Soeda. Purcell holds H2H record of 3-0 (2 on hard courts, 1 indoors), last meeting was in March, and Purcell has a 27/15 record on hard courts this year against 13/12 for Soeda. Does any of you have an idea what might be the reason to value Purcell with odds like @2.30 at Unibet? If there is nothing that I'm not aware of I think that there is a good value in this bet.

Leeds made Bristol City look average and they're going to have improve if they think they're a top 6 side after that performance.
Leeds without injuries will be right up there, but the squad size is a big concern as is the keeper, he'll cost Leeds 10-15 goals this season on his own.

Luton 3-3 Middlesbourgh
More over 2.5 goals games in the future for Middlesbrough? or for Luton? Which one is your take?
Definitely for Boro, wide open and very slack at the back. Luton may be of the mindset that they may as well go out and play attacking football as they're going to struggle otherwise.
The Championship in general is going to be a goal fest this season I think.

@Richard the Courier While I understand they are similar bets, I think are very different at the same time. BTTS relies on both teams having the ability to put the ball in the back of the net, while Over 1.5 just relies on 1 team.
Let's take an example:
Barnsley v FulhamOver 1.5 Goals is 2/7 (1.29)
BTTS is 8/11 (1.72)
You wouldn't expect such a big gap between the 2 markets, but I've found that to be quite common. With most teams preferring to play a more attacking style of football these days, and perhaps even VAR may add to total goals, I think BTTS is by far the better value bet.VAR is a speculative comment, of course we'd need 2/3 seasons of data to know what effect it has had on total goals.

Absolutely.
