The rider of my first tip here (won) has only two rides tomorrow and both have excellent chances and at two different tracks with little time between the races.
Fiery Breath goes 1605 hrs Ling at 15/2 with several going 4 places at 1/5
Pretty In Grey goes 1740 hrs Kemp at 6/1.............no room for error in getting from Ling to Kemp..........but that is taken care of.......an ew and ew double is how I will play with 100+ % from the saddle.Good luck if you have a dabble.
Nice tipping @Rolemat

The ELO Ratings are only ever a guide, but a very good guide even so. A direct answer is that some are based on the ELO Ratings, but some are based on stats/knowledge as you already alluded to.

We've updated the new navigation and colour scheme a little to make it quicker for you to get to what you want.
You can see it here https://www.punterslounge.com/
It's a more difficult task to integrated that into the forum software, so for now the Forum will remain as it is, but will be integrated in the near future.

If you are using the direct download from the App Store, you'll need to delete the app and re-install it.
However, we recommend you use the mobile website and add it to your phone as a home screen app, full instructions for iOS and Android here https://www.punterslounge.com/app
The app on the app store is not a native app, but we do intend to have one once we're done with site updates and certainly planned for early 2020. -

We're aware the app is broken after a few updates yesterday and will reply here when fixed.
Please use the mobile site for now which is the same as the app.

Sorry I think I posted in the wrong forum it was the 3 bet horse accumulator that's not showing any more.
Small technical issue, will reply here when fixed.

@Bow382 to Punters Lounge
There's been no changes in that respect. The win accumulator is nearly always 4 teams, but occasionally 3 teams if there's a lack of football that day.
-
@pauls7 - This is based on £20 stakes.
Nice 12/1 double tonight in what has been a frustrating month or 2.

to Punters Lounge @pauls7
Please see above on our reasons why there isn't one for football tips at present. However, I can pull any stats from the system for a period that you want?

Well Price buzzed him a couple of times, I think it would have been a knock down had the ref not got in the way too!
In all honesty, Price froze again and let Chisora take control, so it's time for Price to retire now as he's just not able to perform at this level as the pressure just gets to him.
What a fight the Taylor v Prograis was by the way!

9 hours ago, shrewd. said:Hey guys! New to the site. Haven't regularly punted in quite a while, but the taste for a little weekend flutter has returned again. Felt I needed to sign up to a forum, as if I'm not articulating & putting my thoughts into black and white, I can be a little lazy/loose - and if I'm a little lazy/loose, then the bookies are sure to win - and we don't want that to happen, do we? ?So my first post is hardly much of a "tip", but I think Manchester United are nailed on to brush aside Norwich on tomorrow afternoon, and seeing them quoted around 4/5 looks generous to me.Ole's side have seen their best performances this season come when playing possession based teams; when the emphasis isn't so much on trying to unlock a stubborn deep-block, but just having a compact settled-shape off the ball & pressing aggressively. They beat Leicester & Chelsea this season with less of the ball, and put in, what I thought, was a very good performance vs. Liverpool last weekend with around 35% possession.Norwich execute a patient, position-play focused possession game with strong emphasis on building from the back (it's naive, if you ask me, but anyway). Only the "big 6", Leicester & Graham Potter's Brighton pass the ball more on average than Norwich, and only 6 sides (City, Chelsea, Leicester, Spurs, Liverpool & Brighton) average more passes-per-min-of-possession; so they're zipping it around at a brisk tempo - the only issue is, they predominantly do it in risky, almost Louis van Gaal-esque deep areas:And to add to that, they're playing against a side who before the Liverpool game, only allowed opponents on average to construct ~8 passes before forcing a possession turnover. United have a lot of effective/capable pressing players in D.James, Rashford, Lingard, Pereira, Fred, McTominay, Wan-Bissaka (his pressing intensity really impressed me vs. Andy Robertson), etc., most of whom, are expected to start, and will be licking their lips at conceding territorial possession and waiting to pounce on an error; specific pressing trigger(s), a lazy pass, etc.I just think it's a match made in heaven for United. With the recent mood lift courtesy of the solid Liverpool performance, followed by their first away win in a long time on Thursday, on top of the plus of the returning Martial, who may lack the pressing intensity of most of the aforementioned, but brings much missed quality in and around the box; and against a side who are foot of the table, low on confidence, and despite their "philosophy" playing right into United's hands stylistically, they're likely to be too stubborn to change - so I'm more than happy to have a substantial single on some of that just-shy-of-evens price floating about.Good luck if you play or add to your accas.Hope I can contribute positively in the future. Used to contribute to a forum called Racecaller a few years back.

didn't know about the hot blonde? haha

@Alex Bird If you placed that bet 10 times, you'd almost definitely lose long term - it's not a bet I'd put cash on myself as it represents zero value.
Of course they could go win 5-0, but will they do that 10 times in a row vs Villa at home? I doubt it and that means you'll lose money long term.
-
@Alex Bird The ratings are not emotional and based on stats. If you look at Aston Villa's last away game, they were phenomenal, but it was only against Norwich. This has temporarily inflated their away rating figure.
Don't forget, Wolves won 2-0 at City. They're not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination with their defensive issues.

I think it really depends which Chisora turns up. As you say Punt, Price's chin worries me too. If Chisora lands early, it could be all over. I'm going to take Chisora late, but I can see why anybody would go for Price as value. If he can use his reach and stay out of the way of the big punches then who knows? but for me, even then, Price would need more stamina to win this one.
4pts D.Chisora to win rounds 7-12 5/2 paddypower
Yup, his stamina is always a huge worry, but he seemed to work that out much better against Allen. Instead of looking for the bombs, he was more patient, but Chisora is another level or 2 up from Allen for sure, but still a very limited boxer in my opinion, as is Price. So hard to call and nobody can be convinced their bet is a banker in this fight. Should be great viewing in what is a fantastic card - who's the hot blonde on first too?

Hasn't Price only had 3 weeks notice too? His stamina is dodgy at the best of times! Saying that I'd love him to win. Always felt he needed to adopt the Wlad template after his early career defeats!
He's been in the gym constantly as he knows he would be a good shout for a reserve, so no worries there - only his chin.
It's really hard to call, but I think the value is with Price considering how hard he hits and his confidence is better now than previously. -
