Guest raylin47
Anyone out there know of JackG's correct score system I believe it was very popular until bookies stared slashing odds on this type of bet:\
Norfolk Enchance
Re: Jack G's Correct score system I of course remember Jack posting his selections - very good they were, but I don't remember him ever posting how he made his selections
Guest DannyCash
Jack G's Correct score system ok, here's what i can remember... He picked 2 games where the home team were very likely to win. He then backed 1-0 2-0 3-0 in both games as 9 doubles and 6 singles. Pretty sure that was it for the staking but I don't remember the rules or if there were any rules at all. Hope this helps? Guest raylin47
thanks Thanks Danny I think I'll look into this, just got to get one bookie to give decent odds Maybe post selections this weekend teams that come to mind are Rangers and Man utd but any suggestions would be considered
Guest raylin47
system re-incarnation This system based on Jack G system starting bank 200 points singles and doubles correct scores First selections Celtic v Dundee Utd 2-0 15.0 3-0 13.0 4-0 13.0 Aberdeen v Rangers 0-1 6.5 0-2 8.5 0-3 10.5 6 singles 9 doubles with Victor Chandler All bets taken will have match odds for favorites of under 1.5 with good defensive records This eliminates teams like Man utd but incorporates teams like Arsenal .It will also use the average goals score by favorites team Example Celtic average goals this season at home is approx 3 therefore selections 2-0 3-0 4-
Guest DannyCash
Jack G's Correct score system Good luck with this Raylin. I shall be monitoring with interest. I remember Jack making a healthy profit from this but there were some unlucky weeks so remain patient. 1 good week were the doubles are landed will counter several losing weeks. Cheers Danny
Zebedee1
Re: Jack G's Correct score system The original rules were in the archives, I stumbled across them about 3 weeks ago & started to do the doubles again. I believe Jack amended the original rules that are posted. I make this weeks teams Celtic & Inverness, the staking is 9 x 2 point doubles & 6 x 9 point singles. :ok

Guest raylin47
Jack G's Correct score system modified Thanks for the info Zebedee .Im not sure what R.f.o stands for, so unable to decipher the information Anyway I was right about the odds being below 1.5 approx and also selected one of the teams that would have come up in his system. I have decided to change the betting strategy to be in line with the jackG system ie 1 unit on doubles and 3 points on singles Total bet per week will be 27 points so because I'm only paper trading at the moment my bank now stand at 173 points.with rangers drawing and celtic scraping home 2-
Tulenos
Jack G's Correct score system Looks like RFO stands for Racing and Football Outlook and remotely remember RFO having been mentioned by Jack @ times (more exactly @ the times he was into this). The main trouble remains the odds were slashed big time before the beginning of this season and I also tried to count it and it looked like very long and hard work to stay in front. And with the most likely pair being Rangers and Celtic, the worst thing is Rangers inconsistent nature this season. Good luck anyway, raylin.;)

Zebedee1
Re: Jack G's Correct score system Yeah, It's the Racing & Football Outlook that Jack used. The same teams used to crop up quite a lot, I remember WBA were a good team for winning 1 or 2-0 at home at the time. I've done this bet for 4 weeks now & have a small loss. The teams I've backed so far are Rangers/Hearts, Man U/WBA, Newcastle/Plymouth & Celtic/Inverness. It pays to look around different bookies for the odds, this week Inverness to win 3-0 was 7/1 with lads but 9/1 bet365.:unsure

dirkscot
Jack G's Correct score system whilst it may offer better odds, I believe you will see poorer results if you include teams playing away from home. Just got a feeling teams are less likely to win to nil, which was one of the main features of Jacks system, he only picked home teams I think, and the 1.2.3/0 result was the most common at the time, dont think that would be the case away
Guest raylin47
re away selections Yes I think your right Dirkscot, away selections don't seem to fit into the selection criteria.I am still thinking of modifying the system quite drastically though Idea at the moment Selecting teams with extremely low odds ie 1.15 to 1.3 and instead of playing singles just have 9 correct score doubles and then have a 1 double on the home teams winning to cover the cost of the correct score bets. So a 20 units on two favorites at 1.20 would give me 28.8.My investment every week would be 29 points and hope to hit the correct score double every three to four weeks.
