12 points on France to win at 6/1 with Uni
Had a look at the teams in terms of odds, form, Fifa rankings, draw etc. and arrived at the conclusion that France were a reasonable bet at the price.
Not an earth-shattering conclusion to say that I think the winner will come from the front 6 in the betting. There are only 16 teams in in it and those 6 are all at single figure odds with Norway 20/1 next.
England at 9/2 not the worst bet given current form and the fact that they're hosts but they're looking at Spain or Germany in the QF and I think the price is fair at best.
Spain and Germany are in the obligatory "Group of Death" and I think the former are false favourites at less than 4/1. Good as they are, and as strong as the domestic game is now, I think the market has overrated them slightly. Germany not the force of old but still to be respected. I wouldn't back them at 8/1 though given the draw.
Holland and Sweden should get out of group C easily enough but don't appeal at the prices.
France have the easiest looking group to me (in with the 8th, 10th and 11th ranked teams in the competition). Recent form comparable to England. Just stood out enough to me at a price that was clear best and may well be trimmed. (Still 6 for now on the exchange.)

Clash of the top 2 teams in the Championship on Premier Sports TV this evening with Leigh hosting Featherstone Rovers. Although the home side are favourites, I reckon there must be value in Fev's half-back, Ryley Jacks to score a try. In 8 games since the start of April Jacks has only failed to touch down in one of them and has amassed 13 tries, including two hat-tricks and two braces. Obviously he's up against the toughest opponents this evening but for me is still worth a bet to score at 7/2 (Hills, Bet 365).

On current form it seems a bit of an insult that Argjir are 25/1 (Hills, Ladbrokes) to win away at Vikingur (3.00 today).

Really looking forward to the next 3 days as it is the Warrnambool Carnival which sees some cracking jumping action and probably the biggest race in the jumps calendar, the Grand Annual on Thursday. Day 1 sees the maiden hurdle divided 3 times and the Brierly Steeplechase which will see some of the horses run in it and then back up in the Grand Annual on Thursday.
Race 1 Those that have been over hurdles already don't set that tough a standard for the newcomers to overcome. Zouy's Comet ran well from the front at Pakenham last month on debut and kept trying although they finished in a bit of a heap so not sure about the strength on the form. I liked the way Lord Pierro trialled over hurdles last week as he jumped well on the whole so he could go well, but I do think the favourite Portland Jimmy will be hard to beat. He is the best on the flat out of these and landed the Donald Cup last year. I like the fact he's had plenty of hurdle practice having had 5 trials and he looked an experienced jumper in his trial here last week. This race has no doubt been the target and he's the one for me here.   Portland Jimmy 1pt @ 11/10 with Bet365   Race 2 Count Zero is the favourite here which is down to the fact he's been in good form on the flat having won a couple of starts ago. I watched his last hurdles trial and although I wouldn't read much into the fact he was well beaten I wasn't overly impressed with it. Gravistas is an ex Mark Johnson who won at Newmarket on his last start over here which is his only win. I think he has a chance here as he seems to jump well and it could be that hurdles bring out some improvement from what he's been doing on the level of late. There was very little between Zedstar and Joshua Reynolds at Pakenham last month, but I was a bit disappointed with the latter who didn't seem to progress from his first up 2nd. Zedstar meanwhile is frustrating, but surely a maiden is going to come his way at some point and with Pateman on top here it could well be this one. Mighty Oasis was 2nd in a maiden hurdle last year and he's been doing OK on the flat of late so might also run well.   Zedstar 1pt e/w @ 8/1 with Bet365 Gravistas 0.5pts e/w @ 12/1 with Bet365   Race 3 The former Irish trained Killourney is the favourite here on his hurdling debut and he does look the most likely winner. He's been running well in good races on the flat and his recent hurdle trail was decent. Rider In The Snow has also been running well on the flat, but I wasn't so impressed with his hurdle trial last time. This is probably the weakest of the 3 hurdles, but I just can't understand the price of Lady Fiorente. She didn't show a great deal on hurdles debut at Hamilton at huge odds and not surprisingly was a big price at Pakenham last time, but she ran really well to finish 2nd and was well clear of Zedstar and Joshua Reynolds. Maybe she wont repeat that effort, but if she does she has cracking place claims at the very least here and quite simply she shouldn't be the price she is.   Killourney 3pts @ 5/6 with Betfred, Paddy Power and Betfair Lady Fiorente 0.5pts e/w @ 50/1 with Betfred and Ladbrokes   Race 6 The feature race on Day 1 and as much I wouldn't rule out last year's 2nd Bit Of A Lad completely I do think the winner will come from either Vanguard or Valac. Both horses were impressive last time with Vanguard winning at Hamilton and Valac at Pakenham on his first start over fences and Valac is the one I am going to go with. I thought it was just about as good a jumps debut as you would wish to see at Pakenham and there was more depth to that race in my view. The winning margin was 0.2L, but his jockey eased up on him late on and he was value for much more than the winning margin. Britannicus did win here two starts back, but he was disappointing at Pakenham last time especially as he looked the winner at one stage.   Valac 2pts @ 2/1 with Bet365

Firstly, apologies for any offence. I feel I made a fair comment to illustrate the point that there were various ways to interpret a small number of results and you should be wary of being too quick to draw a favourable conclusion. Let’s see how things look with a decent sample size.
Secondly, your criticism is well wide of the mark as I’ve posted plenty of long running threads in systems and strategy (with varying degrees of success) including the current anytime goalscorer system which is very much all my own work and has been going for 5 months and over 300 bets. I also tracked every single bet I posted on here last year and returned over 2000 points profit.
I took over the thread posting the KP tips years ago and continue to do it as there’s a degree of demand, I don’t claim any credit for the results. I suspect I at least match you in terms of the extent of my own endeavours to find ways to beat the bookies.
Don't mistake taking an interest and constructive criticism for a desire to see you fail. Your system obviously takes a very different view to the bookies on a lot of games and it will be interesting to see if that helps you gain an edge of any sort in the long term. Football is a game of relatively few goals and small winning margins though so I wouldn’t bother looking too closely at each individual result for a favourable interpretation.

Alfreton are the current form team of the league (Nat League North) and look likely to make the play-offs. With Matt Rhead leading the line they should have too much for Chester for whom the season can probably not end soon enough. With 5/4 available I feel Alfreton are a decent bet.
Gateshead will want to ensure they keep ahead of Wrexham to gain automatic promotion. I feel they have the perfect opponents today in hapless Southport. For me worth a double with Alfreton that pays 41/20 with Unibet.

Just to mention in case anyone else is being short-changed, some websites have only indicated 5 yellows. I had to e-mail Spreadex with the official UEFA report to advise them that there were 6 bookings in total. I think they had missed another injury time yellow (Sara Gama of Juventus).

Return leg of the Arsenal / Wolfsburg tie in Germany this evening with the sides locked 1-1 after the first game. Despite the situation the referee this time, Ivana Projkovska of Macedonia, does not encourage a display of cards so the bookings markets are a swerve for me.
However the second tie Lyon v Juventus (8.00 pm) has Riem Hussein of Germany with the whistle. She certianly has stats that suggest at least 40 points and perhaps more, given the tie situation with the home side trailing 2-1. Lyon are still big favourites to reach the Final but the Italians should make it really tough and hopefully feisty. I've backed over 39 bookings points at 5/4 (skybet) and had a buy of cross bookings at 320 (Spreadex). Simple bookings are 36 to buy.

If stats are anything to go by, then Altrincham v Aldershot looks a solid home win. Alty are very strong at home and their last 4 home matches have seen them score 13 goals with zero conceded. By contrast the Shots has let in 11 in their last 3 on the road, only scoring twice. Despite Aldershot's slump the teams below them look pretty lifeless, so relegation should be avoided, thus arguably this is something a "nothing game" that the bookies don't price up too carefully.
The home side are available at 10/11 or 11/4 (-1 handicap). For me this is a game to play on the spreads so I've bought Altrincham's goal rush at 18 with Sporting Index.

I really hope Wales can succeed this evening in what should be a blood and thunder affair. The referee is Szymon Marciniak of Poland who is not shy of showing the cards. I feel the bookings quotes for the game are a tad low (54 to buy on the spreads). I like to buy cross bookings in such vital games so have gone with a buy at 760 with Spreadex.

To avoid the risk of after timing (we’re both a card short of profit with 20 minutes left) I played 4-6 cards with cover on >65 points and 2+ cards for each team, at 13/5, 14/1 and 15/4 with Hills.

    Thanks @Darran.

Being a follower of non league in the north I would back your calls on both Blyth and Grantham.  Earlier in the week they opened at 14/5 and 11/4, respectively.

Staggering that Chester opened at 8/11 given their recent form and their abysmal away form over the season.  They are a young side with a few injuries at the moment and the bounce they gained when ex York City boss Steve Watson took charge has long since disappeared.  Blyth were unlucky to lose at Darlington last weekend and have added a couple of signings to their squad this week.  Unsurprisingly their odds have dropped significantly to 21/10, but I still see this as a 50/50 call with both teams around 6/4.

Just one more stat to add to Darran's  Bamber Bridge v Grantham write up;  Last 6 games Bamber GF 1 GA 13, Grantham GF 13 GA 12.  Plenty of goals in Grantham at the moment, especially if ex Dover player Ricky Miller starts today.

Ebbsfleet v Oxford City Ross Jenkins was confirmed as the new manager in the week at Oxford which is well deserved given how well he has done since taking over as caretaker. In 9 games he's won 6, drawn 1 and lost 2. The two defeats were against the top 2 sides in the league, Dorking and Maidstone, so no disgrace in that. Ebbsfleet have won their last two, but this will be tougher. Obviously with home advantage they should be favourites, but Oxford City are very much over priced for this game and are well worth backing.   Tonbridge Angels v Braintree Braintree continue to perform much better than their league position and it was no surprise that their manager got manager of the month for last month. They lost 1-0 at Maidstone on Tuesday night, but they were a bit unlucky to get anything at the team 2nd in the table. Granted Tonbridge had their keeper sent off after 10 minutes against Oxford last week, but they were still well beaten 5-0. I'd make Tonbridge slight favourites given home advantage, but for me Braintree are playing better at the moment and they too big a price.   Blyth Spartans v Chester God knows why Chester are odds on for this. They have managed just one win in their last 10 games and have lost 5 on the bounce. In fairness Blyth aren't in great form either having lost 6 of their last 7 games, but my point is both teams are pretty bad and therefore to have the away side at odds on is way off on the price front. Chester have lost 11 of their 14 away games in the league and have won just one of them whilst Blyth are much better at home than they are away. I'm more than happy to get involved in the home side at 5/2.   Chorley v Southport I mentioned the other week that Chorley seem to have lost their form at the moment and Darlington duly beat them 3-0 when I took them on. That was 3 games ago and since then they beat Chester and then lost to Spennymoor on Tuesday night. Granted Southport have only won once in their last 5, but that was against Hereford and they have only lost once in that spell. Last Saturday they got a very creditable draw against Brackley and they look capable of getting 3 points here.   Bamber Bridge v Grantham (Northern Premier) League position wise you wouldn't want to back Grantham given they are bottom and 10 points from safety. As I highlighted last Saturday though Bamber Bridge are in awful form at the moment and they lost again on Tuesday night. Grantham are doing their best to survive as they have only lost once in their last 6 and have won 2 of their last 3 including against Morpeth on Tuesday night. No doubt in my mind who is playing better at the moment and Grantham look a good bet.   Oxford City 1pt @ 7/2 with Paddy Power and Betfair (Hills are 19/5 and take up to 9/4) Braintree 2pts @ 23/10 with Paddy Power, Betfair and BetVictor (Hills are 13/5 and take up to 6/4) Blyth Spartans 1pt @ 5/2 with William Hill Paddy Power and Betfair (Bet365 are 14/5 and take up to 6/4) Southport 1pt @ 13/5 with Bet365 and William Hill (take up to 2/1) Grantham 2pts @ 9/4 with William Hill and Bet365 (Betfair and Paddys are 13/5 but given the gap I will settle at 9/4 take up to 6/4)
