3 races I’ve watched today on sky sports racing and 3 horses have gone wrong. 2 at Chepstow and 1 at Sedgefield. None were to do with jumping either .

Newcastle 5.30 Lord Protector 22/1 Down the weights and down in grade. Form nothing to shout about but worth a small bet.

Yeah it’s not really a race you need to look into much. I noticed the favourite was running today and had a quick glance when I got back from work to see what the price was . What’s done it for me on the selection is that it’s 4/1 in a four horse race and I’m encouraged by the last run along with the 7Ibs off it’s back in a lesser race. Basically I like the price and as it’s only small stakes why not.

Oh yes the horse loves pulling up . Encouraging run lto after a wind op in a strong looking race . I was initially looking at the favourite as I’m quite familiar with him but the selection seemed to offer a bit of value and hopefully has everting to suit. Good luck with yours .

4.25 Haydock , Amatuer 4/1 good run last time out in a competitive race. Runs off 2Ibs lower but has 7Ibs claimer on board today. Stays the distance and goes well on good ground.

Yes Ted totally agree he’s one to watch . I rarely if ever bother with maidens but he looked very interesting at a nice price although I was a bit skeptical about the distance . Seems to have a bit of class about him.

At a glance this morning Apache Outlaw was the one that jumped out . Good luck .
