Delahicka
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 Here are just a few facts... ;) Iraklis is still in tough financial crisis, but they bring a new coach - Paraskos (58 years) who has changed 21 club for 18 years of his career as a coach. :lol In Ergotelis talking for days that game against Panionis is match of the season for them. From other "small" team, Kavala has the best fans and most difficult ground for opponents. They will complete for weekend. Asteras v Larissa - both teams have changed coaches recently. Olympiakos v Xanthi are in friendly relations. How's things McNasra , anymore info on the Olympiakos game ? What do you mean by they are in friendly relations ?? Cheers Mate, Com on The Hoops :)
Diemti
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 I lost the bet but Im really glad PAOK won as its my team :clap Congrats griffster On the PAOK-Panathinaikos, I can see us winning. Djibrill Cisse is absent from Panathinaikos which decreases their chances by about 50% :lol We are playing full, except for Vitolo and maybe Contreras. Our 2 new players, David Eto from D. Zagreb and Diego Arias from Once Caldas will probably be ready for tomorrow. The fans are going to make an extremely hot atmosphere, which will only boost the players' morale even more after the win over Olympiakos and help them win and devote the performance to Pablo Contreras' father who died on Sunday I also believe the other 2 teams of thessaloniki, iraklis and aris, will lose to panserraikos and aek respectively

pts
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 A tip from a newcomer, for Panionios-PAOK: A see that Panionios home games are always under 2.5 goals, in this year superleague (11 home games). Add to this, the fact that they will probably be missing Mitroglou, who got injured midweek in Greece's friendly match. I just don't see how this game will not end up as under. Cheers guys

Cheers guys I forgot to mention that PAOK is having a very important game for Europa Cup on the 17th of February against CSK Moscow. PAOK will also be missing Contreras (banned) from his defence, against Panionios.

pts
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 So, here's my 2 cents: Kavala vs Panserraikos (19/2/2011) Kavala’s defeat last week in Crete prevented them from reaching the third position in the table. It is very impressing to notice the fact that this team transforms completely when playing at home where they have collected 20 out of the 31 points they currently have. Tomorrow’s game against Panserraikos is indeed a game between David and Goliath as the guests are almost certainly relegated to the second division. Additionally Cardozo – midfielder, Vucisevic – midfielder and Hrgovic- defender will empower the startup team. Easy home win with lots of goals. TOTTI3
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 AEK-Paok =1 (2.05) Totosì AEK position 4° points 37 Paokposition 6° points 34 Preview: Aek: injured: Nikos Liberopoulos (attacker). Paok: Pending: Ivic (midfielder), Garcia (midfielder); absent: Vieirinha (midfielder), Mirco Savini (defender), Luciano Filomeno (attacker). AEK has a score in-house w6-d3-l2 goals scored 16 goals against 10, while PAOK has a score out of the house w4-d3-l5 goals scored 10 goals against 11. AEK have not won a home game by five rounds of the championship and Champions League, so I think today is a good opportunity to reverse the negative trend seen in many absences Paok. The results obtained so far from the home side are better. The first sign is more than justified. Declining share in many books. :hope:hope:hope

spkutano
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 Panionios - Panserraikos Pick: Draw Panionios need just one point to avoid relegation. And they have a perfect opportunity to reach that point against already relegated Panserraikos. Coach Takis Lemonis will probably ask the victory from his players, but I am sure he won't have anything against the draw. So, the fact that Panionios will be satisfied with one point is my first reason. The second reason is determined by the fact that Panserraikos played some good games lately. Even they have no chance for survival, Panserraikos managed to win two of the last three games. And one of the opponents was one of the best teams in Greece, Panathinaikos. Here are the results: 03.04. Panserraikos - Panathinaikos 1:0 20.03. Aris - Panserraikos 3:1 12.03. Panserraikos - Xanthi 2:1 The last reason is followed by the fact that Panionios coach Lemonis has some players sidelined. According to Panionios official website, Jurgen Macho, Suleiman Omo, Giannis Kodoes and Davor Kukec will not participate in this game. The guest coach Vukotic will miss Georgiadis. I know he is an important player for Panserraikos, but still I believe they are able to stay unbeaten at Stadio Neas Smirnis in Athens. totse
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 Event Panathinaikos - PAOK Selection over 2.5 Strength 10/10 Date 22/05/2011 Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 2.25 Reasoning Panathinaios recorded three over in four matches in this play off group for Champions League, on the other hand PAOK recorded four over of four matches they won three with 2-1 and lose one 3-0 against AEK on the road. Four of last six matches between these two team also finished over so this seems to be a high scoring affair today. If Panathinaikkos win they will be a dog taking this play off group because, but PAOK leads this group so they are in good situation they also need of three points so over for me. totse
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 Event O. Volos - AEK Selection AEK Strength 10/10 Date 22/05/2011 Bookmaker/Price 188bet @ 2.45 Reasoning This is a match without any matter about the home side today are going Volos who are playing for nothing they have no chance to qualify fot the Champions League, while AEK are second placed with a point less than PAOK who are playing today with Panathinaikos so too possible PAOK will lose points there. This is my opinion if AEK take this match they will have a home game in last day, and sure they will take the first place today. AEK have no problems with the squad they recorded five win, two draw, and loss against PAOK in last eight match, but they defeated PAOK 3-0 at home so if these teams finished with tied points AEK will qualify for the champions league. Volos won just one game of total four matches they will be without any motivation so I choose away team.
el_greco
Re: Greek Football 2010/2011 Totse, would you please allow me to add an important detail about the above match. AEK have won the Greek Cup against Atromitos and therefore they have won a place in next years Europa league, regardless whether they finished in the top 5 or not. However, if AEK finishes first in the play off, they will win a ticket for the qualifying rounds of the Champions League, and therefore they runners up of the Greek Cup (in this case Atromitos) will be awarded with the Cup Winners ticket for Europa League. How will this affect they playoffs? If AEK wins the group, then the team on last place will not qualify for Europa League, as Atromitos will take their place... From what we have seen so far, Volos seems to be the team that will finish in 4th place. So, in order for them to qualify for Europa League, they do not want AEK to win the group. It's complicated and apparently the last season this is in effect. From next season, cup runners up will have no European qualification, regardless what the cup winner does. So, this gives Volos a great motive for tonight's match. It is a detail that has been overlooked and thats why Volo's odds are quite attractive... Sorry again for chiming in, I have no intentions of pretending to be an expert on my first post :-)
