Re: VIP Poker League Season 2 Guppie - We're going to have to be rigid on the numbers for the mini-league I'm afraid. We have tried to be flexible where we can, but the orginal proposal is not going to change on this one. It does look like we're going to make the 25 anyway! One small point - players that took part last season do not need to re-register, but we do need to "tag" you as Punters Lounger members for the purposes of the mini-league. So anyone that is already registered, please just send us an email confirming that you wish to take part in the Punters Lounge mini-league. Please also ensure you include your forum name. We already have made the link for a few of you, but to be absolutely sure please do follow the above process. With regards the final - this is now going to be May 8th, confirmed. Same location. We figured that May Bank Holiday weekend would see many people with existing committments. Any more questions, let me know. James

It may be worth taking part anyway (although I'm biased, of course!). Seats are transferrable, so you can always either sell the seat should you win or let someone else play for a cut of their winnings. And we might need your involvement to hit the 25 player mark for the PL mini-league!! James

Not been about lately alot so only just seen this, not sure of exactly how many I can play just yet but I'm up for joining. Have accounts at bwin and paddy but I've not deposited on either or have them downloaded or remember the alias I chose. :rollin I guess I should get this sorted before sending an email, I'll try to sort it by tonight but when is the deadline? About referalls, is PL used as the referall for existing PL members? If not, then feel free to PM me with your email, Guppie, I'll put you down as you seem to be the one pushing this the most. :ok

Re: VIP Poker League Season 2 Hi all, A quick update about how things look from our end - as there appears to be a bit of discrepancy in numbers. I don't think everyone who played last season has emailed us to confirm their forum name. I've used my powers of deduction where I can, but I think there may be a couple missing still. In terms of existing players, I have the following 8 names confirm interest in the mini-league :- RIVRD PGremlin vic3485 Starshine Guppie (BPP) Spitvenom glennop Adetrick In terms of new players in the league I have the following :- Chapman Haichan teaulc I have another five that have registered quoting Punters Lounge, but not confirming their forum names. I have emailed them requesting the PL names so I'm sure I'll get them soon. Including them, that gives a total of 16. So if anyone that took part last season still needs to let me know their PL name, please do that ASAP. Also, if anyone has stated here that they are going to take part but not registered, please do so as soon as you can. As always, any questions - just let me know! James

Hi all, The following is confirmed information for Season Two. - Season Two will commence the week beginning 18th January 2010 - 12 week season - $10,000 Guaranteed prizepool at final (Expected Venue - G Casino, Luton, Expected Date May 1st 2010) - Main League structure remains the same - Free League structure changed - only top five in each tournament will be awarded points - 3 of the 4 rooms confirmed as taking part. 4th room to be confirmed this week. PL Mini League This will be run exclusively for players on this forum. It is subject to a minimum involvement of 25 players, playing at least six tournaments each. We will update the mini-league in this forum once a week, with all points earned at any of the MAIN LEAGUE tournaments (free league will not count). The highest three finishers in this league who DO NOT otherwise qualify for the the final, will be awarded seats to the final. League Prize Draw Every entry into a Main League tournament will earn a player one entry into the end of season prize draw, to be drawn at the conclusion of the season. 1st Prize - $1,000 2nd Prize - $500 3rd Prize - $250 Regular Player Tournament Anyone who plays in a total of 11 Main League tournaments throughout the season will be invited into this tournament. It will take place online at the end of the season (but prior to final) with a $500 prize pool. Referall Rewards Anyone referring new players to the league will be awarded a commission (to be paid at the end of the season) on the following basis Referred player plays at least 5 tournaments - $5 Referred player plays at least 10 tournaments - $10 These payments will only be played on NEW players to the league (they do not need to have joined the relevant poker room via us - although obviously we encourage new players to use our links to help support the league) When new players register for the league via email, they MUST confirm who has referred them. For anyone citing "Punters Lounge" as their referrer (again, new players only) we will add the commission payments to a prize pool for the mini-league. PL can decide who this prize-pool is to be split. If there are any queries regarding any of the above, or the league in general, please either post here or email service @ vippokerleague.com.
